It may be listed as Al Ahram Street. But many cab drivers will know Africana (now Nirvana) by name. Far East is not nearby; it is in Maadi across the river - for directions consult earlier posts for the address.

I’ve now moved on from Egypt after nearly five years. May not be a mongering paradise but no way as bad as some may paint it. The local Egyptians mongers have earned themselves a reputation for being a bit sharp financially. I can’t blame then for wanting the best deal but equally they can’t be surprised if the girls, with good cause, ever fearful of a rip off , treat them with caution.

The best venue from the pov of a Maadi dweller has to be the Far East. Could always rely on a female from there at the end of the evening if you had the urge. I never paid more than 600 EGY which included as many pops as I could muster until late the following day. The (hard faced) Chinese there were the exception, ever intent on driving a hard bargain so I left them alone. In any case no particular lookers. The Far East had the advantage of a convivial atmosphere with Suzi the very sexy - but out of bounds - waitress and Gigi her down to earth colleague who always looked after her regulars. Very few stunners and one or two absolute dogs but the middle ground was one I was happy to explore over the years with only one bad experience - and when a Sudanese working girl demands coffee on arrival chez McAvity at 3 am and then pulls a face when no freshly ground is forthcoming being shown the door has to be the only outcome!

Never really took to Africana/Nirvana in Pyramids Road although did have a few from there with similar pricing and no problems. The African diplomatic club in Maadi was less in your face, the ACE club also in Maadi offered some opportunities but predominantly an expat clique and best avoided if mongering was the main intention.

Images attached are of Y. First met her in the Golden Bell/Boss in 2005 but she became a regular and of T from Far East with whom I kicked off 2009.. Some good times none the less. She loved her red wine and after sharing a couple of bottles we would fuck all night. Happy days………………………………

I have the strong belief that Cairo is no more a strange town for me (I have been to the baladi bars!) but I never came across with any girls or taxi drivers or etc. Mentioning ADC.

Glad you enjoyed Y. A sexy performer who could certainly move. Was a relative innocent when I first met her in 2005 - “turn off the lights” etc but she grew out of that stage quite quickly……………..Was never up for anal in my experience but YMMV.

As for directions to the African Diplomatic Club. Bit tricky to find as slightly off the beaten track. The general direction is further down Nasr St from the Far East in the old Maadi direction and a couple of blocks in from the main drag. Confusing I know! Best way to find it first time would be to take a taxi from outside Far East. The drivers hanging around there all know it and should be 5LE or less. Happy hunting!

Would anyone be willing to give this shop a second try??? I'm happy to pay someone to do it AS LONG AS they are a foreigner, because when I went there a couple months ago they didn't do any special service other than some piano playing on my back. My theory is they offer special services to foreigners only not Egyptian.

I feel bad for the guys I see posting recently, asking about MPs. The scene is very down right now, with an apparent crackdown having taken place. Here are some recent experiences, mostly depressing.

International Center for Chinese Medicine
In November this place relocated from its location in Agouza (an ideal one - on the first floor but outside landing of an apartment building, so few residents and no bawaab to scurry past) to building just a couple of blocks away. I had a massage there on its first night in the location. But when I stopped by the other weekend none of my girls were there, and the veiled receptionist said it was now a beauty salon. I'm doubtful, since I had seen the same girl there on my first visit and saw an Egyptian young guy chatting with someone in an office (with the "Doctor"owner?), but maybe they are trying to keep foreigners away since it might tip it off to bawaab and then the police. Worse, the mobile number for my regular H. no longer works, so I'm out one excellent provider, whether at this place or at another. She had told me about the pressure the police were putting on MPs recently. Anyway, I may check this place out again to find out what's going on.

World Spa, Masakin Sheraton
This place near the airport was pretty easy to get to and I had some excellent experiences there. I visited in November, was was saddened to see that the flat was being renovated, and to find that the telephone numbers no longer work. Damn.

Holiday Express Hotel Spa
Went for a massage there in November, and was disappointed to learn that sexy, busty (but grumpy) Wessam had departed. When I did get a massage, the woman (decent looking) kept the door open, a bad sign. And indeed, no happy ending was on offer.

Nadia's, Mohandiseen
Two recent visits and the cute masseuse would not provide any extra services. Owner Nadia is sharp and a long-termer, though, and may realize the current climate calls for caution. I had good experiences here in the past and in her previous locations, so I will try again.

Other places
I called about five places listed in a copy of Al Waseet from October, and the mobile or land line telephone numbers for the places were out of service.

Chinese spa on Road 231
There's hope here. A couple of weekends ago I had a massage (LE160, cheaper before 7) with a very cute college-student type named NiNi, dressed in a plaid skirt and knee high boots. Sexy. And at the end she asked if my obvious hard on needed some attention. She asked for LE 200, and the lowest I got her down to was LE150 - pricey. I sat up a couple of times to kiss her on the lips, and put my hands down her sweater, and she playfully resisted, but I don't think there's much chance of anything more than a hj. EgyMonger, I don't know if this is a foreigner thing, as the guy in the next cubicle was chatting a little with his girl in Arabic. Ah, to be able to lie back on the table and know that your girl at a place like Dream gym would shortly be taking off her bra and giving you a bbj, with no need to ask. The MP scene is not too good really. I have been over an year now and have enjoyed sessions at Tehran MP, Body health Club near City Stars and once had a HJ in Red Sun MP in Maadi.

Tehran closed in June.. Don't know if they have reopened. Body Health Club was open till about 4 days but now the telephone number is not working. Though I saw Towels hanging but the MP is closed. Hopefully not for long as it was a sure shot place for a HJ atleast.

I am not sure of the MP on Road 231 but will try.

Anyone has any leads please let me know as I am alone in Maadi and need some solution to this pussy deserted place.

Just like to inform everybody that in Egypt the system now is bluetooth communication. (Marriott garden in summer, Hyatt Nubian village Res.,in winter) If you have a room there it's not a prob to take them up to you room. They just follow you to the elevator and to your room with no hastle what so ever. Hang out, open your blue tooth and you will see many girls names and numbers listed. Call them ask where they are sitting, check them out, if you are interested invite them to your room. Price $ 200. Bit pricie but worth it as there are many and too easy. Everything is negotiable especially late night can go down to a $ 100. You will find all sorts & some are very pretty.

No they're all Chinese mid 20-s/early 30s. Nothing like the Chinese girls in Singapore though. It's on Road 231 which is a small narrow street next to Subway and NSGB. The area in general is next to CAC the American school. In the narrow street there is a sign pointing to the shop. Very easy to find even if you're not from Maadi.

By the way, would you be willing to tag along with me to go to this MP? I've sent you a PM...
