Hussy's is a dump and I never saw a woman in the place that didn't look like trash. Parenthetically, is Hussy's still there? Red Rooster charged me something like 320 php for a drink. Girls there were also fugly and I'd never give them a centavo of mine in the future due to what they charged me. I've walked by there many times since then and never gave a thought about going in. G Point is much nicer than either Hussy's or Red Rooster with some decent looking women sometimes. Drink prices are half of what they charged me at Red Rooster. At happy hour, they're 20 php if you want rot gut gin or vodka but you have to buy your own mixer. I'll go there sometimes during happy hour, have the rot gut Gilby's and sit by the windows and watch the world go by. As I live here in Candyland, there's no urgency in locating women. My preference is to just sit in a reasonably civilized bar and relax. I'm actually heading into Manila again today and will do the walking tour starting at LA Cafe before the sun goes down.

In your walks Rogin, you've probably passed many other places. So have I, but most I just won't go into as I require some degree of civilization. Even LA Cafe has a little bit of that.

Manila is horrible, the traffic the lack of culture, the traffic, the pollution, the shit streets, the poverty, it has bright spots and it has good women. But please don't ever think you are headed here for any reason other than fucking or working. Outside of manila is better but it sure aint Thailand.

If they did not speak English I would never ever set foot there again. There are good and bad women of course but the general inability to provide decent service where your average Grocery Store Clerk has a university degree is simply absurd. I have many friends there but their lets not get it done attitude drive me nuts. Good family values is the only thing in their culture I really like that and they support their man.

Thailand is my happy place it has it all, Singapore is world class want to explore more but work ties me to Phils.

I have been reading the forum in anticipation of my trip to Manila. I have been ready to complain about feeling teased by all the posts and feeling terrible that I am here and some of you are there making hay while the sun shines (or where the sun don't shine). I can't wait to be there be there to draw my own conclusions. Considering the number and quality of the posts, I'm sure that the must be some good there! As an old fart I am looking forward to fishing at the Robinson Mall for young nubile fillies.

In fact it seems that the lack of family values fuels the bar industry, since about 50% of the dancing girls are single mothers and plenty I have boyfriends or husbands that they go home to after a night of dancing in Burgos or Edsa.

Can anyone honestly positively compare Manila to Bangkok? The latter is infinitely a better city in basically any thing you can measure.

Can anyone honestly positively compare Manila go go bars to Bangkok go go bars? Better quality at lower prices in Bangkok to be sure, and a lot less stretch marked baby stomachs. I guess the English and higher possibility for a GFE is a plus for a lot of guys. If I wanted a GFE I'd get a gf.

The huge advantage of Manila is obviously the ease of scoring freebies. It doesn't take much at all. But like I said that ease makes going to the bars even less sensible. Why pay 200 US dollars when you get can the same thing for free? Unless you speak the language, such a thing is much more difficult in Thailand (or Vietnam or Cambodia) so scoring hot young women in the bars makes more sense for visitors, especially since the price is up to 20 times cheaper.

Hi guys,

I've been to Manila a couple of times and only visited Burgos street. Bars like bottoms, Moulin Rouge etc have gotten very expensive. They rip you off with the lady drinks and then the heavy bar fines + tip. I was wondering about the quality of girls in EDSA compared to the bars in burgos and the rates? I am not into too much chatting before the hook up so MBC is not an option right? More into lets slam a few drinks and get to room Also any other areas / bars worth checking out?

Any feedback will be helpful.

PP.[/QUOTE]I get it. But I have to admit that Makati, around the Greenbelt area, has somewhat grown on me, and if I could remain in the one sq. Km. Area with Greenbelt at the center, and never had to drive more than a kilometer, I could tolerate the city somewhat easily. Unfortunately that's not possible for me, and so I need to plunge into he squalor, paralyzing traffic and general anarchy almost every day I'm there. I'm typically in Manila 3-4 days most weeks and find by the end of hose periods I'm exhausted, less because of work than because of enervation of commuting. Unfortunately the inefficiencies of service are ubiquitous throughout the country, so there's no relief by escaping Manila.

Based on the assumption we are not cheap charlies and we are kind and respectful (albeit it horny and kinky at times). This sort of behavior (and subsequent FRs) gives us a harder time as these amateurs will tell their friends and they may think all westerners are cheap and poor.
