I told the guy to just drop me at Nelly. He asked me for a tip. I said you need to be giving me a tip for wasting my damn time.

Inside Nelly the guy said he could get me in the smallest thing they had for $220. I said damn man. I looked online to book and showed him where I could pay online as well and it said $118 for 4 days (would not let me book the present day) and told him it should be no more than $150 for 5 days. He told me to come around the counter and look at his computer. I didn't understand all the rental car code stuff he was inputting though. I hit GrownMan up to get his rental contact. By the time he shot it to me we had finally settled on $180.

When my wingman was down 3 weeks ago Budget told him he could not get a car unless he got their insurance. He signed the paperwork then called corporate to complain later. They got with the Santo Domingo office who sent them all the paperwork that he had signed. They said there was nothing to be done since he had signed it. As soon as I finished at Nelly I called Budget to complain, but I was on hold so long at international cell phone rates that I finally just hung up and said I would call when I got back to the States. So I wasted 3 hours dealing with rental car shit and got a huge head ache in the process.

I had to leave my US driver's license at Santo Domingo for security in lieu of a cash deposit, but I just gave them a spare license with an old address that I carry for such purposes. As it was, I did get a ding on the car in Sosua with a dent in a rear door and paint scraped along the side while it was parked in the street. It cost me $US 150 to get the damage repaired locally, but that included someone having to travel to the Toyota dealership in Puerto Plata to pick up some of the exact matching paint, so not too bad. When I returned the car, they looked at it very suspiciously, but could not find anything. Still cheaper than dealing with the crooks at the franchises.

No insurance story. They ask for a hold on my credit card but $1000 or so, is no big deal. When I return, I pay in cash and the deposit is released. I do have to say that the Santo Domingo franchise of Nelly was a lot more painful than the Santiago one but by now, in Santiago, they know me and so it is a breeze through. By the way, Nelly, both in Santo Domingo and in Santiago, have pick up and drop off included.

I had a good time with my immigration chick last night. When she left to go home at 10:30, a 25 year old chocolate babydoll who works in a salon wanted to come over to do my nails. I told her that I would wait to go to my salon Monday to get my nails taken care of, but she could come over anyway. I couldn't quite figure out her angle. I had to park on the street. I went up to the bartender and said you know what. I forgot my change earlier. She said you were drinking Cuba Libres, you should have told me then. I said no. My change with the chica! She looked through the book and said you were with the new girl right? I said yes. I gave her 2000. She said she probably thought the change was a tip. I said no hell she didn't. She said give me 200 pesos. I gave her 200 and she gave me a 1000 peso bill. I gave her 100 tip. She was happy because I don't think I have ever given her a tip before. I think most mongers here would have said fuck it and chalked it up as a loss. I am a regular there though so I figured they would have my back.

I left and went to Barra Payan for a sandwich. The GBP chick hit me up asking me to let her know if she was coming or not. I said I just left GBP and did not see you. I guess she was serving customer number 6. She said well if you want I will come tomorrow. I said we will talk tomorrow baby. I am talking to her now about going to her place in Los Corales. I have so many chicks on the line for right this minute that I will have to put her on the back burner.

I am eating my sandwich at Barra Payan when a chick who works at a bar hit me up and told me she was getting off work and asked if I wanted her to come stay the night. Damn. I was not planning on getting any more pussy tonight. But sure okay. Come on. She said that it would take her 20 or 30 minutes. Before I could make it back to the hotel and shower and clean up behind the last chick she was calling me asking me to come out. I stalled then drove up. Going to skip over yesterday for now and talk about today. I checked out of my hotel and went to my empanada spot then went to the salon to get my nails done. After that I hit the road to Bonao and arrived at 3 pm. I came here to see a chick that I give 1000 pesos to whenever we fuck.

She wanted to go to the river, but it looked like rain was coming. We went anyway because I wanted to check it out. (Pix will be posted in "Other" thread.) There were so many people at the river that I had to ask her if today was a holiday. It looked like it would rain so we did not stay or get in the water. We left and went to a place called Restaurante Plaza Merengue. You can eat outside under huts. It was damn nice. But before we even got out of the car it started storming. We ran to a hut and the waiter came and brought us menus. I was kind of leary because the menu did not have any prices in it. But oh well. Anyway my pineapple pork chops with tostones ended up being 265, and my rum punch 84. The total bill was 819, so it was not bad.

We left there and it seemed the entire town was flooded. She asked where we were going and I told her we were going to fuck. She asked was I only staying a little while or if I was staying overnight. I said that depended on her. She said what do you mean? I said if you are staying with me then I will stay all night. But I am not going to stay alone. She said she would have to go home for a few minutes but would come back and stay. So I got a hotel room for 1600 instead of a cabana.

We fucked one time and then her son called. She had to make her run home. I gave her 200 pesos to take a motorbike taxi home and back because I wanted to chill out in the room. A while later she called and said that her sister has to go take of her mother in law and there was nobody to watch her son so she would not be able to come back until 7 am. See that is that bullshit that I am talking about. That is why I rent a car, so I am not stuck anywhere. I told her that I would be gone by then and I have not answered her calls or messages since.

It must have been a deja vu, because at 11 pm I went ahead and sent a message to another chick that I deal with here. She said she was getting ready to go to the airport for her flight to Boston. What the fuck? I totally forgot that last time I had talked to her on the 10th she told me that she had gotten a visa. She said that she would not be able to stay long but she kept asking all kinds of questions. I said look, stop asking questions and get your ass here.

When her bus came I picked her up at Plaza Lama on Duarte. I asked where her bikini was. She said she had to go right back home. We sat in the car talking a while and got comfortable with me then asked how long I would go to Boca Chica for. I said 6 or 7 hours. Then said just kidding. I won't stay that long. Just go eat some fish and look at the water then come back to the city. She said let's do it then. She complained about the drive saying it took longer to go to Boca Chica than San Cristobal. I told her that was not true. On the way back though she said it seemed much shorter. I guess the time passed fast when she was having fun.

We parked the car in front of GrownMan's favorite colmado and went down to one of the fish kiosks. The lady gave me a price of 400 for each fish. I asked my girl what she thought and she okayed the deal. I left her at the table and went back to the colmado to get drinks for us while the fish was frying up. A guy whose pregnant girlfriend or wife works at the kiosk was giving what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage to their 2 year old son and 6 month old daughter. It was in a Brugal bottle, and appeared to be something like a wine cooler, but I damn sure hope it was just the bottle they reuse to put some kind of juice or kool aid in. I saw them selling the same type of beverage in the same bottles out of a cooler.

We finished eating and went over to Gogo's favorite Sailor Bar for me to get a pina colada and to watch people having fun in the water. We left there and headed back to the car. I opened my girl's door and looked up across the street and who the hell did I see? Chris MF Long trying to get up on some pussy! I said what the fuck. I had not seen him since he was in Thailand the last time. I shot the shit with him for a few minutes then me and my girl hit the road back to downtown. I dropped her off at Plaza Lama for her to walk to her bus then I went to my hotel to see what I would be getting into next.

When me and my girl got to the strip on Boca Chica I saw a truck with cerejas for sale. I gave my girl 100 pesos and rushed her out of the car to go get me a bunch. She came back with the motherlode. When I got back to the hotel I tried them out and they tasted like shit. I thought these must not be for eating. When I went to my GBP girl's house (report later) and told her about the cherries that I had purchased she explained to me that I had bought cerejas. They are for mixing with sugar and water to make juice and not for eating plain as a cherry is. She then went in her kitchen and made me a glass of juice.
