Cartagena Reports

One of my chicas video called me Friday and she was in a big house in Centro, filled with Asian men, must have been 10+. She wanted me to get that house next time I come there. I promptly told her I don't travel in big groups so that house will be a no. When I asked her how much she was charging the gringo she said $400. I couldn't help but laugh because I know when get there an about a month she will in my bed for 300 K.

In the past year, I haven't seen much of a difference. But yes, from my experience, I don't think 150,000 (cop) can be had from the clubs. But as Nypher explained there's just so many variables in pricing. Club girl vs street girl, location, quality of girl, status of the girl, have you sessioned with her before, time of the night, time of the week, Spanish speaking skills, etc.

From my 5 days experience you guys are looking at 250,000 give or take for short time and 600,000 give or take for long time (3 leches) - never pay upfront for Long time. Tell them you'll pay half if they demand the money upfront. Usually this is a bad sign, but sometimes it's too late in the night from hours of hunting, you're in your bed, and you just want to get it on jajaja.

Again, watch those damn street rats stalking you, they'll rob you blind, don't trust anyone- I would even go as far to say to use taxis from your apartment to the club entrances and vice versa. Going forward, I will not be making my usual walk through the main clock tower entrance, as I have always done in all my trips so far. I will ask to get dropped off in front of LDV if that's possible.

Why take on the headache and risk of at least 30 strangers approaching you and measuring you up while you walk from the clock tower to the clubs. I'm done with that nonsense. I'll post another report from my trip in September!

Use translator and if I don't get the wibe I tell her "this is not going to work out" on to the next one. My #1 rule is no condom on oral and I finish in mouth. Got to be straight up with your expectations and own the conversation not the other way around. I always get their number just in case and sure enough at the end of the night my phone is blowing up. What I used to do is just come into the clock tower plaza from the end were the Hard Rock Cafe is and start working the fringes. There is a set of benches on that end where I used to snag chicas from without having to actually walk up into the plaza. Directly in front of Hard Rock Cafe is restaurant style seating but get a little closer to the actual clock tower more in front of Tucandela and there are some benches. This was before though I could always find a cute one there for a decent price.

Looking for some advice being a first time traveler to Cartagena. Where is the best place to stay that is fairly close to everything and also guest friendly? I will be in Cartagena in September.

There is a wealth of information already posted. Most members are tired of trying to answer the same question over and over especially to first time posters who don't want to put in the work and read past posts.

Inside or Close to Walled City. Visitor Friendly(VF) hard to find you have to put in work to uncover these locations. Most members are not going to give up thier coveted VF locations for it to be ruined and become unavailable especially to newbs.

The best spots in Bocagrande will not accept visitors. What you can do is get to know a girl good and then book a spot in Bocagrande with both of y'all name on it.

He was genuinely helpful. This is not a Question-Answer forum. This is a give and take forum. You have not left anything here and yet you want something. You see TheCritic is simply following the guidelines that this forum follows. That is why this thread is not called Caragena Questions and Answers. This thread is called Cartagean Reports because it is designed so people who have been there can Report their expiriences and then others can learn from that and maybe leave their experiences also so that more information accrues. That is why if you go to the front page of the forum (there is a button that says Front Page) scroll down to Forum Abbreviations. Click on the letter (R) and scroll down to RTFF and see that it means Read The Fucking Forum. It is an established abbreviation because it is an establsihed repsonse to those seeking something for nothing.

It is also not lost on the board members that you have not bothered to at least pay for a membership. That means you are what is disparagingly called a "lurker". Also people are more likely to share specific info like what you seek through PM and until you make enough reports to be a Senior Member or you pay for a membership then you do not have PM.

I am not butt hurt either. I was not wise to how this forum worked when I started either. Now I am expalaing to you what I learned through application. I might seem a little more frank and maybe a little less polite than TheCritic? And yet this is all in an honest effort to help you get to where you can get the info you want.

So here is my advisory:

The first thing I want you to consider is that maybe you are in the wrong thread. This is the Cartagena Reports thread and yet under the heading of the Colombia forum there are many other threads and some that specialize in particular information. You can get back out to the Colombia forum by ulitizing the tree. I do not have the same graphics so my example looks a little different. Toward the upper left corner of this page you'll see something that looks similar to this: 🏡 Forum➡ South America ➡Colombia➡Cartagena Reports. Click on "Colombia" . Then scroll down past the "Reports" threads and search through the User Blogs. Seek and ye shall find.

Second piece of advice: pay for a membership

He gave a name of an area (I [U]Could[/U] have given you more areas and actual building locations) that he said will not accept visitors and his advice to get around such restrictions is to get a girl (since we are on a monger forum. A hooker) you don't know, who could have the potential to steal from you (or create other unforseen issues for you did he did not inform you of by following his advice) but you admonish my advice to Read the Past Posts. SMH. A little reading would have answered you question and then some. There is a wealth of information on this forum waiting to be absorbed. I'm going to be in Cartagena from July 14 - 19. I've read the past 10 pages, and it doesn't seem there's a consensus or majority opinion on where to stay? It seems anywhere in Bocagrande, El Laguito, Central walled region is fine, and hotels are generally visitor-averse and Airbnb's are more lax. Did I understand that correctly?

There are only 2 hotels that I know of that accept visitors and I've mentioned them multiple times on this forum.

AirBB are more laxed BUT you have to do the due diligence and read the house rules. The house rules can make a good trip go bad.

Did I understand that correctly?[/QUOTE]It is entirely hit or miss. I have a place in Centro that is very girl friendly, but I've been going there for years and the doormen know me. Cartagena is not a great place for beginners because the logistics are so inconsistent. I would probably go with Juan's places, but the quality isn't great from what I've seen.
