It is very hard for guys out of the country to know whether the money they send is being used for good ends or for chulos, drugs or unnedded trash.
Much easier for us ex-pats to check up. Would it help if I posted my PayPal details so that all you intending WU guys can send the money to me instead? You have my word as an English gentleman that it will go to a good cause.

I think you're right with the safety issue. I was also looking at Cabarete which seems to have a few nice hotels (as I said it's not just for mongering so kitesurfing is on the menu). Re La Pasions, or Sosua, language is a relative non-issue as people here will tell you et puis, 'Je pense' est "yo pienso". Vraiment facile, et apres deux mois, il sera encore plus! In addition, there are a lot of Haitian women, who if they are schooled well, are able to speak your language, and to my limited experience are rather popular with the Quebecois. After a disappointing first trip to Passions, I thought I would relate what happened and see if anyone has advice on how I should have handled things. I stopped in around 10, and looked around; I wasnt overly impressed with any of the faces, but most of the girls had absolutely gorgeous bodies.
