When booking Airbnb's and VRBO's before you commit always contact the Host directly and inquire can you have visitors. Some have restrictions or will not allow. There are plenty properties that will allow visitors it just takes time to find then as you may have read in previous posts.

Flew out from Bogota and onto Cartagena last night for the weekend. Met up with my girl at CTG where she had flown in from another city who had landed a few minutes earlier than I did. I have been to Cartagena several times but have not been since the supposed "crack down" on sex tourism by the mayor.
