Different strokes for different folkes...naturally.

The best strip club format I've ever been to, was [B]Remulos[/B] in Manaus (yep, in the heart of the Amazonian jungle...kkkk). Unfortunately, today it's a shell of it's former self, but well worth the visit, back-in-the-day.

More wild wild west than gentleman's club, but for me it was every bit an intergalactic space bar of fun. Headliners, strippers, dancers and waitresses were all the menu. Wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, wild and freaky "table / lap dance" action to be found on table tops, under the tables, in every strobe light, funky, darkened nook and cranky corner, there was groping, bumping and grinding to the max.

Then mix in the freelancers, amateurs, novices and semi-pros, that would drift in off the streets, come to try their luck (and make a quick buck), made it look like Remulos was on steroids many nights.

With many being available for "take-out", it was a fantastic venue to test-drive the girls, before a trip back to the hotel. Or find what you like and take a room at the upstairs motel adjacent to Remulos (which were very clean and well looked after, one the best motels at the time in Manaus).

Do your thing, get your groove-on and then come back downstairs to Remulos and rinse and repeat, until like 3 or 4 am, if people were still partying. Or just enjoy the open "hands on" headliner stage shows, or the copious amount of freelancers on the open floor performing "full hands on" table / lap dances. The amount and the extent of the groping was just mind blowing.

While not exactly "the gentleman's strip club", it was a pretty decent version of perfection and pretty close what a strip club/boate should look and sound like, in my books.

It did seem like your strip club question was out of left field. In response to your question, I don't think strip clubs have really been a thing in Sao Paulo. Decades ago, perhaps.

Decades ago, perhaps.[/QUOTE]Well that's the thing I did read a few months back and I addressed that I didn't real see anything on the topic, so I thought I'd simply ask, I agree it was out of left field that's why I ask because it's not really something I've see. Didn't mean to start a whole big brouhaha over it.

And I'm not in here searching for shitty American style strip clubs per se. I'm more of thinking central America, Colombia kind where you can watch the ladies then talk and pick one out that you like. Not sure why that's so unappealing.

I buy a drink or two for a girl I like, let them know I don't do the silly dances that just make me more horny with no final gratification, LOL.

I let them know that I live close by and that a hookup is a better idea.

It works.

Not always obviously, however, frequently, and not big money either.

Just get them to like you, feel comfortable, and they make a few bucks before work.

We all know or should know that "strip clubs" in Latin America or Brazil are of a different type than in the USA.

By that, I mean the local scene rolls the way it rolls and it's well covered here. Traveling around the world, it's kind of fun to seeing all the different formats and venues. From female staffed barber shops in China, karaoke girls in Vietnam to fish bowls in Thailand, it's an adventure.

I myself like clubs like Scandallo, Casarao, etc. In Sao Paulo where you can mingle with the girls and get a sense of their personality and temperament. If you like the women to reveal more physically, you might prefer the top termas in Rio de Janeiro. Termas come close to a strip club. The women are scantily clad and walk around mingling with clients. Occasionally, a girl will get up, do an erotic dance and maybe use a stripper pole. The strange thing is that many Brazilian termas girls aren't exhibitionists in the performance sense. All the girls session with men on-site and some will privately agree to meet you at a later time at your place.

As a side note, not too long ago the Montreal strip clubs were notorious for incredible amounts of contact in the back of the clubs and off-site action. Many an American male attended a bachelor party over the border. Since Canada has relaxed prostitution laws, the Canadian strip club scene has faded in a big way.

My travel dates are finally getting closer, I swear the last 30 days have gone so slow waiting for August to arrive, maybe next time I won't book so far in advance!

I haven't seen any new reports on Clínicas, boates (Scandallo mostly), or even city restrictions changing with more and more talk about the Delta variant spreading worldwide. I really hope nothing drastic changes in the next few weeks.

I'll even take an update on the weather if anyone wants to chime in, it seems it snowed in some parts of Brazil recently, I see Twitter girls posting about being cold all day long LOL. If they only knew what cold really is!

No biggie, I've done the same.

P.S., every strip club that I've been to in South America, including in SP (yes they have them too, at least before COVID they did) the girls dancing are available for sex fun.

Just passing through. Thinking of visiting SP some time in the future as I've heard many great things. I know many people might shit on me, but I really like non pros from Seeking Arrangements. Never been into entering whatever casa and picking on the spot. Just filtered Seeking Arrangements down to SP and the selection appears to be. Rather small for a city of its size? Would love to throw a bit of cash into the Brazilian economy but right now I get the impression that Brazilian girls hate money.

I have been curious about it but not enough to go.
