First let me say that I wish this business all the success possible. Not to dog pile on but clearly the ownership group got a "hard on" for the project and failed develop the actual business plan, concept, and identify of LL.
Arge but have a time min if they getting a ride in and a free meal. Then if they get a date you tax them.
Thanks for your good wishes and advice, but it's obvious from your writing that you weren't around as we were developing this idea. I don't want to report on everything we discussed and did, but we put as much planning into it as we could, and did a shitload of research. Since this is a new concept for Medellin, it was impossible to plan exactly what we would end up with. Our first model was to be a freelance bar similar to LDV, and we'd still be doing that if we hadn't unexpectedly received the strip club license. All the girls we talked to said that THEY did not want Colombianos there. That was the only reason we started with that rule. We are well aware of the Colombiano market, and now that we have the strip license, we will be renovating with that in mind.
In fact, there are many other things going on behind the scenes that I can't make public yet. We had to wait a few weeks for a certain situation to change before we could start the new plan, and coincidently, that starts tomorrow.
I like your idea about the bus and possibly meals, and have thought about it in the past. We may very well do something along those lines. I can't remember if I mentioned the apartment we just rented for our out of town girls, but that will be bringing some fresh talent from Colombian rural towns.
Up until a month ago I was worried about our ability to stay open. Thankfully that is no longer an issue. We have been self supporting for awhile now, and are easily paying our bills without needing to invest more money ourselves. Of course we still are investing for renovations, but we also leased out the office next door which will pay our rent and utilities. The future is bright for Liquid and all that wish us success. We are not going anywhere. We will bumble along until we strike the right balance. In the meantime, we are having the time of our lives developing this, and making it as much fun for our fellow gringos as possible. Judging from the responses on our Facebook page, website, and PMs, most customers are having a great time at Liquid, and are starting to use it as a meeting place for their Western friends, and even Chicas. There is also a growing group of expats that are making Liquid the "Cheers" of Medellin.
Stay tuned; exciting things are coming! But in the meantime, there are ALWAYS Chicas available at Liquid

Hey guys,
Had a great trip to Medellin, stayed with the family of a close friend of mine and they lived near Castilla. Great time aside from the putas, but I was wondering, the last day I was there I made a trip to Fase 2, as far as I am concern its one of the most reputable places, well I used mostly cash throughout my trip, but I did used a credit card over at Fase 2, thinking that well they probably will not screw me. So far so good, no unknown pending charges, but should I perhaps change my Credit Card? I mean I am pretty sure plenty of you have used over there specifically in fase 2 and no problems correct? They have reputation.

Liquid Lounge
Dear Liquid Lounge owners:
I took a friend of mine on Sunday and decided to go to liquid lounge. After I got into the taxi I realized I forgot my phone at my apartment (which had the address of LL). I remembered it was in Barrio Colombia. So I said to the taxi driver,"liquid lounge in Barrio Colombia". He takes me to the barrio and he says he does not know where LL is! Ok, I ask at least 6 taxis, and I even made him call central dispatch. No one could tell him where it is. It was very frustrating. We ended up going to Fase II.
My suggestion is to make it popular with taxi drivers. There are several ways of doing it and I do not want to preach. Sincere good wishes to you and I hope to go back there soon.
P. S. I did go back on Tuesday night with a chica who I had dinner with, who knew where it is and it was closed. Monday was a public holiday but I was not expecting it to be closed at 10 PM on Tuesday. We went to La Isla.
In town now. 2 days in. Checked out a couple clubs in centro yesterday, Ejecutivo and Macaibo. Talent is so / so. But I have different preferences,.....
On a side note, I play blackjack and went a couple big casinos yesterday (Saturday) which were mostly empty of women. If you like casinos, nothing beats the Veneto in Panama.
I apologize for the long rant. I've been to a two casas, New Life, and Dulce and in one talent was limited in number and quality and the other had excellent girls who readily gave their numbers and want to chill who gave excellent sessions, however, I would prefer prettier / younger girls. So, can anyone recommend a casa that I should check out? Aife? Coffee Shop? Something else?
Or perhaps other centro clubs? If anyone is planning a trip to centro, count me in.
Good quality talent in MDE costs money or investment in time. Agree with you on Veneto in Panama.

Non-Pro Advice
Going back to MDE in a couple of weeks and decided to try my hand on non-pros / civvies / regular chicas. Quick background, I'm Asian in my early 30s and can speak Spanish. I'll be staying at the Mansion for a couple days and then switch to apartments to check out this non-pro girl (25 years, just finished university, lives w / family) that I've been talking on whatspp for the past couple of months. We have never met. I'm sure you'll ask how I know if she's really a non-pro, well. I'm 99. 9% sure, so let's assume she is. Obviously, I don't know if this will work out or not, but I have really good feelings about it.
The only thing is that I enjoy staying at the Mansion and I am going to finish my trip at Plaza 2 after doing the apt scene. So if things do end up going well, and I want to invite the chica to Plaza 2 (the quieter, chill spot) , would that ring lots of bells in her head? Do non-pros know about the Mansion? Should I even risk it? I know taking her to the main house (plaza 1) is out of the question with all the paisas running around. Well, any advice would help! Thanks.

Thats a good idea
Maybe have some sort of kick back program for cabbies like the soapies have in Thailand. Maybe offer them a trago or an extra 2500 or 5000 pesos depending on what night or how much the person spends there. That will entice the cabbies to bring guys asking where to meet chicas at.

Let's let LL work on getting the chicas there in numbers first before we start taking about cabbie kickbacks.

Fase dos is a recommended establishment so I doubt there will be any problems. But like all stores even in the USA it depends on the individual doing transactions not the business. He might have a card reader and be able to do something with that info later but I highly doubt it. Worst case scenario they do use your credit ccard all you have to do is call your cc company and tell them that is not a valid charge and they will takr it off for you (0 liability). The only issue I havr with using a cc there at that place is they do charge you a 20% surcharge for credit card usage which to me is bullshit and a scheme to take more money from you. One reason why I never went back. To expensive and they scheme on you.

You can play ignorance telling that you didn't know what kind of "hotel" this one is, but I don't think girls are that naive anymore, just my opinion. Good luck on that dilemma.

Updating Avidos
I was so curious about this place, I heard Loutron's owner operates this small version of his hight end sauna, Well, just as Loutron, not my cup of tea, is good for those guys addicted to plastic, Prices are more reasonable, I think they told me 150k but honestly I don't remember, but cheaper than Loutron definitely it is.
Address is in the Medellin List very close to Luna Lunera, I'm not real good with numbers as you can see, If you love silicons and black/dark girls this is your place. They have some real cute costeņas (dark girls from the cost) and Caleņas (dark curvy girls from Cali) which MAybe,,, have no silicons, but ALL the paisas there have fake parts, especially butts, and fake butts are a real turn off for me. So I left but this could be useful for many guys with different taste.

All it takes for things to go bad is for her to arrive at the El Castillo via a taxi who has a driver in the know and for him to get chatting with her about what kind of place you are staying in. I speak from experience bro. If. I were you and really wanting to do the Non Pro thing than I would avoid any known mongering hotel and stick with an apartment rental. Always a good ideal to make friends with the portero (s) so they do not mess up your game either!

He told them that seemed limiting, what about Colombians. First they told him no, then when he said that they also have money, they said OK, if it seems like the guy has money.
You can't make this shit up. It's a city with very little tourism where Colombians are buying pussy all day, and they seem to want to make it into a treehouse hangout for Gringos.

My request would be to have a night or 2 w / live music, esp. Salsa / bachata / etc. Where guys could go (or take their dates to) and enjoy a good band or singer, doesn't have to be a big production. I know all the ladies there can dance so dancing lessons could also be a draw for gringos like me that want to do more than sit on my ass looking around. I'll be there in January and stop by a few times to show my support. Thanks for all the hard work putting the venue together. Good Luck!
