Name probably emanates from The American War generation (as the Vietnamese call The Vietnam War). Unless your question is being ironic.

Is your 'wingman' a local to get those rates?

I used an US SIM. My texts have no phonetic signs and are obvious foreigners' talk, which the girls can easily discern. But I have never had price jacking in Vietnam.

My wingman used a Vietnam SIM with Translate texts, which are obvious. He never complained being jacked.

Girls will try to push soft foreigners around. Just be firm about their posted prices with threat to report problems to admin, and be willing to bail to teach them lessons.

The accounts often have attractive shop window girls to chat with. First they ask you to join and pay a modest sum for a membership card. Typically 99 K VND or 126 k VND (approx 4 euro). They post screenshots of these membership card payments. They give the impression that this will give access to girls numbers to arrange meets. And the girls are 10's and 9's for which they are asking 500 k for 1 hour or 800 k for 90 mins (2 shots) and CIM, for example.

This access doesn't arrive yet. When you have the card, they direct you to the club website where you register with their issued user name etc. Then you are told you need to buy votes from them to activate the card and contact a 'baby'. This goes from buying 1 'vote' to 3 , which costs 20 m VND (660 euros). Haha. Then when you book a girl, they, say, this is reimbursed to your account. (I imagine the guys fucking the girls and eating and drinking (some accounts feature photos of meals and meat being cooked etc) are the leaders of the scam enterprise.

And I think he is spot on. Here's why. If you pay 1.5 M Dong upfront for massage / hand job etc, then around half of that goes to the girl and she is happy. She will make enough in the day to live reasonable well. No way is she going to offer FS. If you pay 300,000 Dong for a massage, the girl gets 150,000 Dong only and if that place is not doing a roaring trade then the offer of 300,000 Dong for FS triples her income and she may well jump at the opportunity. Sure, she won't want management or the other girls to know so the negotiations need to be 1 to 1.

She may prefer to provide a HJ for a lower amount but once you make it clear this isn't going to happen, she gets interested.
