Fans,I would avoid any of the touts in Kabuki-cho. After being turned down in several places (one of which I was really looking forward to... A place called Gilgamesh that specializes in big-boob Japanese girls) that said they had "trouble" with foreigners before) I went to a tout who took me to the dingiest place ever. He said one-hour of sex for 10,000. That seemed like an okay deal, but she had the worst attitude in the world. The only thing she would do is lie there missionary style. "You know, if you go faster, you'll come faster", she said. She was right, of course... After a few minutes of her attitude, I decided to just fantasize about some other girl and blow my load. Roppongi - massage girls:This is my first posting so bare with me. I have been in Japan for a few years now and have drunk from the well of Roppongi many a time. I used to spend quite a bit of time down there so I am going to submit a couple of postings that may be of some assistance.Most of the massage girls are Chinese and most of the services range from poor to just plan bad. Even if you think you have agreed to a certain service up front the chances are if you are expecting much more than a HJ or possibly a CBJ that you will be out of luck. First thing you have to watch out for is the bait and switch. One girls draws you in and another girl (usually either worse looking and/or low/no English speaking ability) appears in your booth. This is part of the reason the ones on the prowl are sometimes willing to agree to pretty much anything. Once they get you inside they pass you off to some other little lady you has no idea what you think you have already agreed to. Some of the places do this because they only have so many girls that have decent English ability. Most of the girls fresh off the boat either can not speak English, are afraid to speak English, and/or have no idea how to carry themselves out in the wilds of Roppongi. This is why some of the places have inside girls and then the outside girls. So always confirm with the girl that she will be the one providing the service and do not fork over the cash until you are sure this is the case.The next item to watch for is delivery of said promised services. So if you happen to be in Roppongi on a ?slow? Friday then you just might have some leverage for you negotiations.Finding the message girls is generally not too difficult. They hang out generally in a few main areas (although they seem to be spreading ? quite a few new places opened up for the World Cup and some of them have hung around). 1.) Of course they tend to hang out on Roppongi crossing ? most of the time in front of or near the front of Almond (the coffee shop on the corner with the big pink awning). 2) Down the hill from Almond - if you are standing in front of Almond facing away from the building take an immediate right and go down the hill. At the next intersection there will be a flower shop on the left and a Yoshinoya on the right. There are always some girls hanging out on this corner as well.3) More and more girls are now hanging out in front of the shops along ?Motown Row?. ?Motown Row? is the section of street that passes in front of the bars Motown 1 and Motown 2. If you are again standing in front of Almond and facing away from the building take a right ? but go all the way across the main intersection. Roppongi ? Strip Clubs (Western Style):Roppongi strip clubs are OK for business meetings, stag nights, and such. But for feeding the one-eyed monster look some were else. I have been lucky enough to taste a few of the lovely ladies in these establishments but never by picking them up at the actual strip club (always met them in one of the other Roppongi standard bars - after thier shifts 3-4 AM). Most of the girls working these places are in Japan for a short time and they are here to put some cash in the bank. Their mind in generally on one and only one thing and that is getting you to pony up with as much money as humanly possible. The prices to get in are high, and the prices for what you can get on the inside are ridiculous. Unless you are on the company dime or can work out a really good deal with one of the touts before you enter the joint stay away. Now with that being said there are always exceptions to the rule and if you want a real challenge then step right up and try your luck. One of the girls could be exceptionally horny that night or she may just find you irresistible. But chances are she will be focused on your wallet and not your Wally. If you are in the mode to kick back with some mates have a few beers and see some naked/ half-naked women. Then these places are not so bad and you can even come out ahead. Talk to one of the touts on the corner and work a deal in advance. Either just for cover charge (always with a couple of ?free drinks?) or for cover and table/private dances included. Depending upon how busy things are you can usually negotiate a pretty good deal. Then the only think you have to control is your spending on the inside. There are actually quite a few of these places around Roppongi: Climax, One-Eyed Jacks, Fusion, Roaring 20?s, Tantra, and more. You can usually tell the touts for these places because they are the Western guys all dressed up (back tie type), and most of them work the main corner in front of Almonds. So if you are in the mood to relax (by yourself or with some mates) and want to see some dancing women (mostly Western) then these are OK. If you are up for more than watching them dance on stage either bring a wad of cash or the Platinum AMEX. If you want to ?Free Willy? then there are much better and much less expensive options ? even in Roppongi. One additional note ? if you do venture in, and you do open the wallet, and one of the girls appears to be taking a liking to you, beware. If she agrees to go somewhere with you after the close (most of the time the girls will agree to do this with a couple of guys a week) watch were she wants to go. Some of the clubs/bars in Roppongi have arrangements with the girls, and the girls get a kick-back on all the drinks their ?date? buys for himself and her and her girlfriends. So she is not really in to you so much as sucking some more of that cash from your wallet.

Roppongi ? Japanese joints.I have only been into one Japanese type adult entertainment venue in Roppongi and it was entertaining but way over priced. In order to visit the really Japanese joints you will either need to be super fluent in Japanese (of which I am not), on in a group that is mostly Japanese. If you are able to pull off either of these then you probably already know that there are far better options available (both in regard to quality as well as in regard to price) than the Japanese establishments in Roppongi. The only time I did this it was to give my boss a taste of Japan and then bounce back into the nightlife that is Roppongi.So for the average monger on the prowl Roppongi is not the place to go to experience what is available in regard to Japanese adult entertainment.

Roppongi: Traditional Bar pick-upThe old tried and true: man goes to bar, man meets lovely lady, man screws lovely ladies brains out, is still possible in the Pong. Though not as easy as it once was (then again maybe I am just getting old and fat), this can still be accomplish. Roppongi is certainly an option for Westerners looking to hook-up with Japanese or other Asian chicks, and even some Western gals. And it is actually one of the better options if your Japanese skills are lacking or non-existent. If you can speak decent Japanese then there are better alternatives to Roppongi. But in Roppongi many of the ladies are there specifically to meet and greet with Westerners. So the chances of meeting ladies with at least minimal English skills are much improved. The problem with Roppongi is in the numbers. There are typically far more guys than girls, and therefore you have to be fairly aggressive and not thrown off by rejection (try, try, again). The bars in Roppongi are pretty much segregated by the type of ladies that are hanging out. You have the Gas Panics and the 911 for the younger ladies, you have the British and Irish pubs for the slightly older and more relaxed ladies, then there are places like Castello, Geronimo, Mogambo that are kind of in the middle. It is usually pretty easy to tell what type of lady is hanging out at which bar/club so you can be the judge of what you are looking for. Typically there are two crowds of ladies in Roppongi: 1) Those that show up early and leave on the last set of trains out. 2) Those that show up on the last set of trains in and plan to head out on the first set of trains out in the morning. Your chances of scoring are far better with group 2, and your chances of finding someone you would not mind spending more time with are usually in group 1. There are tons of bars/clubs in Roppongi (Wall Street, Valfaree, Quest, Impulse, Hide Out, Trading Places ?..) and sometimes you can get lucky. But the numbers are against you (more guys than girls) and it is never a sure thing (especially if you have any kind of standards).As is the case with most pick-up scenarios your chances change with the crowds. There are good nights (better guy/girl ratio), and there are bad nights (bad guy/girl ratio). I have had better luck in this area on weeknights but this can be hard to swing when you have to get up and be in the office in the morning. However, going out during Japanese holidays during the week can really pay dividends. This method is anything but full proof and everyone?s results will vary obviously based upon your own looks and skill, as well as by your standards. And this method usually required more time and effort than most lads are looking to put in, but can be an interesting and sometimes rewarding adventure. The key in this area is that you have to be the mover. Step-up buy the lady or ladies a drink and make your moves based upon the feed-back or lack of feed-back from the other parties. These three options are:1) Take-out: hook-up in Roppongi and go to either a love hotel or if you dare your home/hotel.2) Eat-in: shag as the establishment3) Touts: Guy/Gal on the street you can hook you up with one of the two above places.Take-out: I will break this down into SW and Clubs.SW:Some of the bars in Roppongi (primarily Motown 1& 2 ? with some in Walstreet and 911) have SW working the bar. Most of these girls are Thai or Philippine with a few Chinese thrown in for good measure. They are pretty easy to ID and you do not have to dance around the bush with them too much. Not a bad idea to buy them a drink or two first but if it is getting late and/or you are not in the mood to dilly-dally then step right up and make and offer (of course it is always advisable to be at least a little discreet in your offer). One thing you need to be aware of is that some of these lovelies are not ladies at all. There are post-op, pre-op, and just plain old half-and-half. So be aware and watch what you are shopping for. Yes these clubs are in Roppongi , and yes Roppongi is the land of the Gaijin. But Roppongi is also were the Japanese can go to get with non-Japanese. So most of the Philippine clubs are making their living on the Japanese business man who comes in to see his little Philippine ?girlfriend? have some drinks, sing a few songs, and cry on her shoulder about his problem at home and at work. Most of the girls at these clubs are in Japan for a short time and are looking to line the old bank account. Some of them make several trips to Japan but when they are here it is all about making that old Japanese guy happy so he keeps the money coming. Some of the guys that are ?regulars? at these bars have quite the little relationship with his ?girlfriend?. He will meet her earlier for dinner, then take her to the club for work, have a few drinks and sing a few songs, and then wander on back home. He even pays the bar extra for the pleasure of taking the lovely lady to dinner before work. This is because most of the Philippine clubs run these ladies like prison labor. They have to work at least six days a week and some girls work seven. The bar supplies the housing as well as transportation to/from work. And the girls are pretty much accountable to the bars the entire time they are in Japan. What this means to you and me is that unless you want to pay for every second you spend time with the lovely lady you are not going to spend much time if any with her. So if you are into Philippine ladies feel free to stop in, take a look around to get your fix. But unless you really want to open the old wallet your chances of hooking up at one of the Philippine clubs in Roppongi are slim. It has been known to happen (sorry to say I have never accomplished this feet) but is not a regular occurrence.There are a few of these places in Roppongi two in the same building over on ?Motown Row? before you get to Motown from the crossing. The one on the top floor I think is the ?Rosen? club or something like that. From across the street you can see the Philippine flag hanging on the ceiling of the balcony. There is another one in the same building the ?Blue? something or another on a lower floor. There use to be one down by Quest a few years back but I think that one closed. And there was one above McDonalds called ?Lanies? or something like that but I am not sure if that one is still open or not.The second classification of these bars are what I call the Thai based bars. These bars typically have a staff that is mostly Thai, the rest are Chinese, Philippine, an occasional eastern European or South/Central American, and if you are really lucky on of the girls will be half Japanese (the old man mad a trip to the Philippines and knock-up Mom and know this is the girls claim to fame ?I am half-Japanese?). The basic set-up in these clubs are you go in set down select from the available ladies which one(s) you would like to share a drink with, possibly sing a few tunes or pay to have the lady sing a few tunes, then take a taxi or walk to the little love shack (provided by you). This can be for long-time fun, or short time services. The level of ladies in these places can be pretty hit and miss. Sometimes things are busy and all the ?lookers? are either with another customer or off-site at the time. Other times you can get lucky and you are the only guy in the place. Some of the girls in these bars have been in Japan for several years, and some of them are only here for a few months. On the up side to these places is that you can get a little more variety in the mix, on the down side is that a real looker may have to leave Japan soon after you meet. There are a few of these in Roppongi and the turn-over of the actual clubs does not appear to be too bad. Meaning that some of these clubs have been around ? and therefore should continue to be around for quite a while. There are two/three clubs that I know of over by the pet shop. If you are at Almonds with you back to the building you want to get to the street corner diagonally from where you are (there is a bank on this corner Tokyo-Mitsubishi Bank I think, and a police box near the bank.) From there with your back to the bank take a right. If you go left you will be walking down Roppongi Dori away from Roppongi. When you go the correct direction you will be headed towards the pet shop and toward a much more lit section of town. Walk straight until you reach the pet shop on your right (about two/three blocks ? really not that far you can see the pet shop from the corner). Now you are at pet shop corner. Here you can either take a right or go straight. If you take a right about 100-150 meters up the street on the left is ?Jasmine? and ?Kings Club?. Jasmine I think is on the third floor, and Kings Club is one floor up. Both are owned by the same people and many times Kings Club is closed. If you go straight past the pet shop to the next corner and then take a right there is a club called ?Queen City? or something like that. It has been a long time since I have been there and it might not be in operation any more. On the Motown side of things there are two other clubs. One is called Phoenix. Phoenix is past Motown, in the same building as the Turkish restaurant. The building is a brick building and the first floor is a Turkish restaurant. Phoenix is on the 5th floor I think. It has also been a while since I have been to Phoenix and I heard a rumor that this place has closed. There is another one called ?O. B. one? - like in Starwars, but I heard it also means something in Japanese. This bar is also down past Motown on the left. The building is a white building, just past the bank/ATM, the first floor is a second hand name brand shop. One of those shops where you can buy used Channel and LV bags and stuff. OB one I think is on the 3rd floor.The deal is pretty much the same in all of the joints and the ladies can vary from club to club from one month to the next. Depending upon the current stock and how busy it is that night. One of the benefit to these clubs for those that are interested is that you can pay with credit card (I never do) but you can. Price generally between 30,000 Yen ? 40,000 Yen, so they are not cheap but not too bad for a guarantee. I usually sit down talk to the mama-san for a bit choose a lady and have a drink for me and the lady talk thru the drink then negotiate the final bill. The only difference in these bars is the last time I was in OB one you only paid the mama-san for the drinks and songs (if you/she sings any). Any/all payment for other issues are strictly between you and the lady. I got the feeling that the mama-san here was trying to change the place over to be more like the Philippine clubs ? but for now still a good option.Again price and selection vary depending upon how busy they are. Saturday nights are actually pretty good some times because there are less Japanese customers and therefore less total customers so demand is down and you can get a better deal than on a Friday night. On the plus side of things with the Thai based bars is that it is generally a sure thing. On the down side of things is the price is a bit steep for one session. Eat-in:These are actually pretty rare in Roppongi (at least as far as I know). I am not including in this group the general massage places I covered in an earlier post. These places are similar only it is clear from the beginning that you are looking at FS and many times you end up with no massage. These places are great if you simply want to bust a nut. But the atmosphere to me is kind of like a **** factory. I have yet to have anything approaching a GF experience in one of these places, and generally the feeling I get is ?boy why don?t you cum already?. Most of the girls in these places are Chinese and most of them do not have girls on the street pulling people in. They are counting on word of mouth, return customers, and Touts. Touts I will cover a little more below, but they are basically people working the street who are paid to bring in customers. The price in these places can be as low as 10,000 Yen and I have never paid more than 20,000 Yen.I have been to probably a half dozen of these places over the years that I have lived in Japan as well as the years of visiting prior to moving here. All were less than desirable visits. So you ask why in the **** did you go a half dozen times. My answers is that ten years is a long time, some times I was drunk, drunk, drunk, and then sometimes I was horny, horny, horny. And almost every time I was shown the place by a Tout. Touts:The heart and soul of Japanese adult entertainment. As mentioned above Touts are people that are paid (generally only commissions) to bring customers to various adult entertainment establishments (actually some non-adult entertainment establishments use Touts as well but that is not the topic of discussion). The touts prowl the street looking for the ?right type? of customer. Each of the touts are looking for customers that look like they would visit their establishment. Most of the Touts have been at this job for some time and have developed a profile of who/what to look for. Some of the Touts in Roppongi are working multiple ends (meaning that some of the guys trying to get you to go into this bar or that bar can also direct you to this adult entertainment establishment or that adult entertainment establishment). Most of the Touts however are only servicing one type of place or another. The best chance you have of being approached by a Tout is to be alone and to make eye contact. Just like with the massage girls if you avoid eye contact they will think you are not interested. When they approach they will generally ask if you are interested in a ?young girl?. Be straight with them and they will be better able to direct you to what you are looking for. Tell them what you want and they will show you where to get it. If you do not see something you like in the first place they show you, tell them and they will show you another. The down side to Touts is that they are getting paid on commission. So the price you pay where ever you end up will be more. The upside to Touts is that they can take the work out of the search. It has been a few years since I have used the services of a Tout but some times if I see one I will ask if they have anything new. Most of the time they will say yes ? but what they are talking about is new girls and what I am looking for is new places. The touts tend to hang around ?Motown Row? ? between the corner at Roppongi Dori and they will stroll down even past 911. Key to finding them is to let them find you. Walk around alone (in the area of Motown Row), do not shy away from eye contact, and wait for them to approach you. Three are three that are fairly noticeable ? but I would still recommend that you wait for them to approach you. One is an older Asian lady (not too many old Asian women walking around Roppongi at 3:00 in the morning), one is a tall older Asian man that is obviously not a business man (yes there is a lot of Asian guys in Roppongi, but if you see this guy it will be rather obvious what he is doing), and the other one is a shorter (around 5? 8? or less) black guy. The black guy is usually more up towards the corner. He has kind of short ?jerry-curl? hair, and has a kind of ?pimp? look to him.There are certainly less expensive options in Japan. But, if you want a sure thing in Roppongi these are the three best options. The only thing you need to do now is decide. This is kind of a long post but I thought the three of these needed to be covered together.

Long time reader, first time poster. Forgive bad grammar and spelling mistakes.I'll share my experience with este in the Tokyo area. After being ignored / turned down by numerous shops, I changed my tactic to spot gaijin-friendly places and just hung around until a tout came to me. That saved a lot of time. I also tend to go out for sex on calm hours for touts to overcome a much common repulsion to talk to foreigners. Had some positive experiences in Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Kabukicho, Ueno.As many, I'm more interested in local girls than Chinese (more about that below). Whenever I'd ask if there were Japanese girls in, answer was positive, but reality disappointing. I now ask "are there all Chinese girls?" and get fair answers such as "no, some are from Taiwan too!".I also recommend you make it clear what you are looking for even before entering the building. The key word is "honban", meaning FS. Some places just don't do that, but unless you explicitly ask before, you'll find out too late.You should also bargain the price with the tout. First offer is usually 20k. You can go down to 15k minimum and usually to 13k, occasionally to 10k. In the beginning, I found bargaining before getting in was better than doing so inside while the girl would listen to you in the adjacent room. I recently learnt from a mama-san that touts get a 3k-5k commission for each customer. Once you've checked the place is gaijin friendly, you'd better off go there straight away.Chinese este are spread all over the city. As was mentioned by other members, service is shower+massage+CBJ+FS. Massage can be anything from lame to very good. CBJ is often disappointing. FS depends on the girl, as usual. It's a trial and error process. I am confident you'll be welcome in any of these places if you can manage some elementary Japanese.My favorite spot is in Ueno. Can't say the name, but kanji mean "3 summers". Building is right in front of Ueno Keisei line station. Climb up the exit stairs, cross a little street, that's the building (5F). Girls are above average looking (up to 8 for the star girl) and service very good, for only 10k.Last remark: there are some isolated SW here and there in love hotel districts (Kabukicho, Ikebukuro, Uguisudani -but never saw any in Shibuya). There used to be plenty of South American girls but that was cleaned out by the authorities. These Chinese SW are 40-60 year old and can't price less than 10k an hour, not to mention the 5-8k of the love hotel. You're better off going to Chinese este than wasting your time with them.
