Thermae scene getting worse every year?
Even after planning to adjust to their ridicolous rates (2000 Baht ST) which seem to be the norm for the stunners on the left hand side of the bar as you enter, most refused me by blatantly ignoring or turning their backs on me this week after I made contact with them. One even shooed me away. A few years ago it was easier to get one of the girls on the left and if they did not want to go they would either jack up the price or give a bullshit excuse like they were waiting for someone. The girls on the right hand side of the bar as always were desperate for customers and tried to get my attention but they were no different to the girls on the street going for 500 Baht ST.
A funny encounter: a real stunner from Chiang Mai who did exchange looks with me a couple times when I was having my drink did not agree with my offer of 1500 or 2000 ST, but then I offered 2500 ST, which she agreed to. We held hands and as we head outside the Thermae and flag a taxi she then suddenly changes her mind and goes back to the Thermae without giving any reason why and then ignoring me when I comfronted her again downstairs. What's going on?
Yes, I pay and weigh almost the same as a Japanese (60 kilos) , finish quickly (5 minutes) , do not have a particularly large dick and am only 22. Why do they refuse me? My theory is that they want to save face in front of other Japanese mongers who may be observing by not going with anyone who is not Japanese?

A baht saved is a baht earned
This is as funny as the ATM charge, come on guys, we spend £1000's on a trip and then try to save a few baht on a bus. Crazy! Oh you should read the forum and finf out the best happy hour deals too. You guys should all hang out together. .JohnTheScot
A taxi from Bangkok to Pattaya costs between 1000 & 1500 (depending on the driver and tollway fees). It takes about 2/+ hrs, depending on the driver and traffic.
The Bell Travel combo hotel van / bus / van takes about 2. 5 to 3 hours. If you're not in a hurry the latter option could save you enough in Pattaya for a cheap room, and / or a shag at the Cocomut Bar. Might be the session of your lifetime.
For those of us who live here, (and don't make the big baht like NicF) , it often pays to watch our baht as we can play 365 days a year. Personally, I have taken both options depending on what my immediate plans are. I learned about Bell Travel on this board.
I appreciate the "useful advice" I find on this board. Especially if I use it.
BTW, beers are 2 for 1 at the Liquid Lounge on Soi Buakhao in Pattaya until 7pm.
