But there is always cost to learning right. I would ask you to stay away. In a city like Jakarta where pleasure is openly available, you shouldn't have to resort to transferring money to anyone's bank account. Also remember, when you make the transfer. They get your account details; so be aware, they would have some information about you. Exposing your identity, could therefore be a real threat.

I have not but am experimenting with some mobile payment systems whereby you can limit your loss to the amount in the account and you don't need to have too much personal information in the app. Problem is the limit is only a couple hundred dollars US for non registered ID verified users.

Second. Never pay in advance if you can. In Indonesia, the norm is payment after. If someone asks for payment in advance, don't. Move on. Most will accept payment after, maybe unless you are South Asian. In Western countries, the norm is payment in advance. You are just as likely to get ripped off in Europe as in Indonesia with payment in advance. But in Indonesia, you can have the added security of not paying in advance. The girl takes the payment risks for an unsatisfied customer. Enjoy it while it lasts.

The rules are somewhat different if you are South Asian. I saw one guy groping a FL for a while. When the FL ordered her drink (actually a non lady drink) the guy sneaked off and out for about a hour. Both FL and waitress were puzzled when they could not find him. As in Western countries, you will most likely be asked to pay in advance for fear of dine and dash.

Any reply appreciated.[/QUOTE]This is a variation on the "Advance-fee_scam" or 419 scam this type of scam dates back to the 17th century and has been working on suckers ever since and will continue to do so, if you have fallen for this you are not alone it is a well practiced scam for a reason it works on people who are gullible enough to fall for it. If you want to know more about the mechanic of the "Advance-fee_scam" google it. The only thing you will be getting for wiring money to these accounts is the "joy" or lack thereof of being scammed. One cannot stop a fool from foolishly sending his / her money into oblivion they were destined to part with it the second they got it. Make no mistake this IS a SCAM. No real effective way to stop these people from falling for this because people who fall for this ejaculate on the notion of hope and the anticipation of a big pay off by the time they figure out its a scam they have ejaculated dreaming about the pay off so many times they self justify being scammed. Instead of realizing it was doomed to failure they assume it just didn't work out since they got off on the anticipation and hope they were given they chase these scams over and over again its akin to a gambling addiction where the odds are in the houses favor.

I've never seen one ask for full payment upfront but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

Most of these are written in abbreviated Bahasa or heavy slang so are not intended for the average Western punter but to keep local penniless freeloaders away. The DP is generally waived for a legitimate and big spending Bule.

I'd agree that any request written in English for full payment upfront would be immediate cause for termination of any discussion. To International TT funds would be lunacy.

I would never send the full amount before hand but I have put a DP (down payment) to hold a time slot on three separate occasions.

My experience for better and worse.

1. A preggo fantasy of mine was visiting from out of town. I DP'd and everything was perfect. Happy customer and I repeated again with again DP.

2. A sexy young girl posted that she was walking distance from my house. I DP'd the first time and saw her many times after without the need for DP.

3. I was scammed, blocked after DP. Small loss and warning sings were there.

I would only do for very unique types of girls, like the preggo who are visiting from out of town.

I'll be eating popcorn waiting to be flamed for my experimenting.

OS has come close but not having a local bank account tried that as an excuse for no DP but to no avail. Certainly there are plenty of local wastrels who have no intention of turning up and also no intention of paying if given a chance but bules?. So the logic goes that if she is not smart enough to qualify her client base then she may not be that good service wise.

But as just pointed out here, sometimes you can be a whole lot richer for showing a bit of trust. The rule of thumb would be if you can't afford to lose your deposit then don't play. OS had a big win once sending 50 000 rp by getting one of the hotel staff to transfer from his account to a young lady to catch the bus to Bandung. OS also had a big loss in Phils when he sent 2000 to a fine looking girl to catch the bus to Cagayan De Oro but theres something in the anticipation as pointed out in an earlier post.

You can also add "no DP" to the twitter search IE: "BO Bekasi No DP" "BO Jaksel No DP" and you will get the girls who don't require DP. I can understand how the system has evolved but it is quite remarkable in a place that is notorious for scammers that this particular line of trust can exist and has done for a long time.

Didn't someone say life is like a box of chocolates? Experimenting actually adds some spice and excitement. Was with a group that wanted to play games with see notes. That went beyond excitement to pain.

To be really honest, one of the things that puts OS off the whole thing is the sheer amount of time that can be burned up organising the event. The travel, the waiting in hotel rooms, the organising, etc etc. In Indonesia labour (read people's time), is valued at nearly nothing. That's why it's such a big manufacturing economy and why for them it doesnt matter if an afternoon is spent getting something like this done. Just dont be late for your slot at the expo with Miss M.

That said, OS has been known to run a calculating eye over that bus full of 19 year olds on it's way back to the dormitory from the fabrik and wonder if any of them would like to augment their 3 M per month salary. That seems more like a punting adventure and worth a bit of time investment, or that hot little cleaner in the jilbab at the apartment that looks like she would just love to try that big thing. But the back and forth of a twitter BO girl in Jakarta can be a bit predictable and OS never seems to have that much spare time.

Or one of OS’s local employee’s whose MO is to hang around the high school at home time and ask the school Satpam if there are any girls needing some help. It’s a many layered flower, our craft in this country. believe me!
