Just to make sure I am understanding what am reading.
If I walk into Pony Tails (or pick someplace else if you like) at 7PM and find a cute girl dancing on the stage and ask her over and buy a drink, decide that I would like to enjoy a few hours in adult fun, there is no way that she will leave the premises with me at that time.
If that is true, then the last trip I made to AC in June will have to last me for a LONG time and one of the best places to enjoy the pleasures of a lady (or multiple ladies) in a short time, on a decent budget has died.
Here's to believing in the "Phoenix".
RE : Recent AC Trip Action
Hi Guys,
I was in AC from the 25th to the 28th of July for a short visit. I visited most of the bars on Fields and stayed at Galaxy Hotel (centre of Fields?). I can assure all of you there were no issues with Barfines. Yes they were calling it all sorts of things such as "Party Animal" and one bar (Voo.) asks us to sign a chit saying no one from the bar is following you home (then the bar girl of your choice dresses up, you pay "Mama" the BF and walk away happily!). Quite simple if you ask me! One bar was saying you had to buy 16 drinks in a row for the girl of your choice. Once you pay for the 16 drinks she dresses up and follows you!
I Barfined at mid-day once then on another day at 11pm. All the time there were no issues.
I thought the smaller bar's such as Hollywood's girl's services were more personal than the bigger ones such as Genesis but still the fact is, if I wanted a girl and she was mot menstruating, I would be able to get her!
Also I think there has been a drop in visitors. So many girls and so very few guys. So you are all invited to go down to AC to party my mates!.)
Cheers!
Regards,
Ice.
PS : Manila airport was not as chaotic as I expected!
Another great visit to AC.
Just finishing off another great trip to Philippines.
Night 1.
Knowing that I was arriving into town late and had a work breakfast meeting at 6:30 I didn't have tie to go out. I invited one of my old flames from a previous trip to meet me 30 minutes after my hotel arrival. All good. P1, 000 donation for overnight stay. Hotel is in walking distance of her house, so not even a trike payment.
Night 2.
Arranged to meet another revisit from last year. She cam to my hotel after work at 5pm. SPent some time with her, again P1000 then I cleared her. She's in a committed relationship with another girl so she doesn't stay out. Then later met up with a contact from a dating site. She wanted to bring a friend and we shared some pizza. Treated that date as an investment for the future. Didn't get her back to the room.
Night 3.
Another beauty from a previous trip. She works in a bar now so she asked for barfine of P1, 850. She is beautiful and a great showoff. She really loved to work the mirrors in the room. Good time at night and the following morning. I'm still deciding if to post a discrete pic of her.
Night 4.
First night in the bars. Atlantis, Club Asia, Camelot. All good. Barfines ranging from P1, 800. P3, 000. The higher end was for a green badge girl at Atlantis. Strolled around some back streets and found a music bar "oldies" or something. Had an aging Filipino bank playing. Nice waitresses etc. Took one home for P1, 350.
Night 5.
Edit: Forgot that I fitted in a visit to blow job alley and enjoyed a P800 time with one of the professionals that work in the bars there.
Later that night girlfriend arrived from Manila from a prospect trip from a visit earlier this year. She joined me at the hotel, dinner at Iguana's mexican restaurant. My next working day she spent beside the pool. She got hit upon to which she replied to the hopeful guy that she was with her 'husband'. I guess she got to enjoy her fantasy as well.
Night 6.
Relocated with girlfriend to P Burgos in Manila. Quite an eye opener for her. She has legitimate professional job in Manila so she wasn't that comfortable there. Although to perform as well as she does at 24 years of age I think she has certainly seen her fair share of 'sideline' visitors. Managed to fit in a visit for a relaxing massage with one of the girls from the massages places along Burgos. All good for P500 HJ.
Going to miss Philippines. But most importantly, AC continues to be open for action.
AC and the Philippines' Economy
Those of you who think that AC is the 'center of the universe' insofar as Philippines tourism is concerned need to understand some basic data.
From Dept of Tourism:
- Tourism represents only 7% of the Philippines economy (The Government wants it increased to 11% by 2016, and is hoping the 'It's More Fun. Program will yield that increase)
- There were 4. 27M international arrivals in 2012
- 1. 2M were unaccompanied foreign males (including those on business trips)
- 3. 07M were 'couples' arriving as part of a group (single females was an insignificant group)
- South Koreans represent 25% of all foreign arrivals.
- 37. 5M domestic airline trips were made in 2012.
- The domestic tourism sector is seen as 6 times larger than the international sector (for example. 60% of tourists in Boracay were locals)
- Foreigners stay an average 9 days in the country.
- Kababayans (returning overseas residents) and other locals stay in holiday destinations on average 19 days.
- 90% of arrivals in the Philippines arrive through NAIA in Manila.
The Department of Tourism wants to move visitors more easily away from Manila, Cebu and Davao to other parts of the country by better domestic air connectivity.
Philippines tourism depends very heavily on LOCAL DOMESTIC TOURISM. It represents by far the biggest component of the Philippines tourism industry although clearly there is a desire to encourage more international arrivals as stated above. Hotels encourage locals with discounts because they form such a huge proportion of the travelling population. Rather surprisingly, as shown above. 60% of the visitors to Boracay are LOCALS.
Given that only 7% of the economy derives from tourism, then clearly the economy of AC as a sub-component of that is a very minor part of the national scene. Nobody will take much notice of any factors impacting on the AC economy as it is a mere blip on the Philippines scene, so attempts to close bars or remove the bar scene etc is generally seen as a local 'turf-war 'battle. AC is my least-favored place in the Philippines and I am probably part of the huge majority of people here who are not directly concerned with what is happening in this tiny corner of the Philippines.
I think that placing AC in some sort of pivotal position on the battleground in the global fight against prostitution is grossly exaggerating ACs importance. To imagine that a former First Lady is even remotely interested in anything happening in AC is somewhat absurd.
Just my humble opinion as always.
