I always write them in Spanish to make sure they understand. Nonetheless, the problem isn't the language barrier. It is more their inability to have discussions or back and forth. Most of them are shier than what you think. They don't know how to tell you money is little or this doesn't work for them. They prefer to ignore as safer option.

It is impolite to directly reject you. So they do it as indirect as possible to avoid insulting you. So you have to reach out to them.

I have been around the world & I agree HongKong is Heaven On Earth.
