For the prices you pay to enter and session at Scandallo, you definitely want to play it slow. If a girl that approaches you early really gets you going and you're concerned she will disappear, get her contact info. It can be overwhelming for the newcomers, but you want to keep your wits about you and enjoy the scene. These girls are here almost every night and can also be beckoned to come to your place during the day.

Some good tips there about Scandallo and boates in general. I would add a couple:

1. Only accept girls that you approach, not vice-versa. If a girl approaches you, there is a chance she has been sent by a third party with questionable intentions.

2. Don't accept girls who pester you for drinks. Often they only start to do this after they have given up hope of getting a room, and see drinks as the only way of getting money out of you.

And the place you want to go will check your status on the app in order to let you in. This could be a serious problem for non-Brazilians who have been vaccinated abroad and have a vaccine card but may not be able to upload that info on the app.

But knowing Brazil. They won't. And it will create headaches for everyone involved.

Maybe they will also allow vaccinated tourists to enter without testing soon.

If they stayed a full shift they would receive a courtesy invite to enter free the next day. If they returned they would continue to receive free invites for each successive day. If they "faulted" they would need to restart the cycle and pay the full admission again on their next post fault date. Exception being they could could choose not to work on either Saturday or Monday (but not both) and keep their invite streak alive. So the hard core regulars can avoid the fee but many (most?) cannot keep that streak alive all the time.

Hard to say how many of the ladies make bank on a given night. My impression is that quite a few, if not most, do not. But I could be wrong.

If they miss a night they have to pay the higher entrance again. That's why they have such a good client / hooker ratio.

So I made it finally, I'm one of those that can't sleep for shit in the plane, so I was half awake when I stepped out of the terminal to catch my Uber to the hotel.

One interesting comment though, no one asked me for proof of negative COVID results, not in the US during check-in or boarding, and definitely not in SP. I asked a gate agent in the US and she said "oh no we don't do that anymore" Idk what to make of that.

Anyways, so I decide to pick Uber Black to speed up the pick up cause I was dog tired, and what do you know? The driver decides to take a long route to the hotel, I'm sure he tacked an additional 50-100 reals, it's not a lot in US money, but the principality that hurts. Rude awakening for me, it's fine though, it reminds me the girls will try to squeeze more money out of me and I need to wake up fast.

Got checked in early at 9:30 am, and The Renaissance gave me my room early at no charge, or so they say, we'll see. Went to the Droguera and got some vitamin c, and other necessities. It's so easy to get your vitamins here! Got some funds for playtime too. I have a feeling I'll need more soon though, my wallet is not happy.

Hey, I think I will travel my first time in the near future to Brazil. And the first days for exploring sao paulo.

Sorry for the stupid question but nowadays every day the situation is so much different everywhere in the world (Corona). If I read correctly then there are in the moment no restrictions in the country and for going to Brazil is just a english PCR-Test necessary, right?

But how is the situation if I want to fly from sao paulo to rio and then from rio back to my home country (except restrictions of my home country). Is a test or anything else necessary for the flight between sao paulo and rio?
