Do the ladies in the termas have to pay the club out, or do they keep all that they make? I think that the house makes the lion share of the money.

Also, many ladies live day to day, and do not keep up with their money. Truly alot of the working girls make more than most mongers but they have bad habits, family to support, ex's who take and some save.. and most spend a lot on food, clothing, and rent in high rent districts...

Seconded, ET. It does nothing to further info for people consulting the Board about finding women, for us to endlessly obsess over [i]one[/i] girl out of so many. I agree especially as it is getting very private. Let`s know however, that many of the girls in the Termas earn much more than there clients. One girl in centaurus has worked there for 20 years! Just imagine.

Curious vision, so should all footballers retire as soon as they make some money? I dont think so. They carry on playing to the maximom time possible. If they are offerd a transfer to Milan or Madrid they go for it. The girls that you have met are great professionals, they are great at what they do, so why would you say that they should retire early?

Went to Termas 21 last night. My little Brasilian homie wanted to take to some downtown spots he liked to visit. We walked past Cancun (his favorite) I told him I've been there before. Went to 21. It's located around the corner from 4x4 in a back alley between Rua da Quintanda and Rua do Rosario. Prices there are R20 for entrance and three drinks and R130 if you want to spend 40 min in the cabine. Talent varied from 4-8 in my view. It was 16 girls and 12 guys. Not too bad for the price.

You forgot one extremely important detail!!! All that money is TAX FREE!!! SO hell yeah, Ingrid brings home a great deal more a year than I do!!! Now, bringing home that type of money and being able to save that kind of money are two entirely different things!! (We are not even adding in the money that she gets every month from various suckers who dont want her to work anymore!!)

So true...it's hilarious. I remember back '06 watching some Simp turn orange once someone else mentioned her name in front of other guys who'd been with her.

Don't know if Ingrid makes more than the mongers as we do not know what an "average" monger make after tax. We also do not know exactly how much R$ Ingrid make.

The maths assume Ingrid works six days/week, 52 weeks/year. I don't know any termas open 52 week/year. Even assume a 50 weeks schedule, no girl works all 50 weeks as they have days that cannot work. Also, you are not getting 4 clients per day, there are days the girl don't book anything. Finally, the girl don't take home R$150 per client. Depending on the house, for a 40 mins call, the house takes at least half of it and that leaves the girl at most half of the money. On the days that she makes nothing, she still owes the house money and the money will be taken out from the paycheck. My guess is, even for a top girl who works "diligently", she'll be lucky to make about US$60K. Still lots of money for Brasil. Then like other members mentioned, many girls have a lot of obligations and bills to pay. Furthermore, most of them have no sense of money management so they make a lot and also spend a lot. Toward the end of their careers, not much money left. Someone used to say, the problem with poor people is never for lack of money. It is money management.

Their career is really like football player. A few years and that's about all. Unlike a job in a business whereby your income improves as you acquire more experiences. Now if everyone else sees it as a discussion board to chew the fat, that's fine. I've nothing against it. I just don't personally feel any need to do that.

The reason people come to the Board is to get useful info. I've got plenty over the years and try to contribute on that basis when I can. It is already hard enough for people who come with specific questions, like how to get to such-and-such a venue and a million other practical issues. They have to trawl through an eternity of posts that don't convey any useful info. I realise there has to be a certain leeway, but if the Board were to change and simply become a discussion, then it would cease to serve its primary function.

As I said, no disrespect to anyone who feels the need to chat, but it's not my bag. It could be done by PMs for instance. Or specific threads (like the one on the exchange rate) if there is enough demand. I don't need to 'get over it' - and people aren't being overly 'sensitive' - just pointing out the specific nature of ISG. Without which, a lot of us wouldn't have got this far.
