Fortaleza

Hi everybody, I'm enjoying the talk here I will be in Fortaleza for 2 weeks in March travelling alone. Obviously want to enjoy the beach, also looking to get laid as much as I can. I Have been reading the reports and have an idea of whats going on there, its my first time to Brazil but been many times to South America and Caribbean so I think I know how to engage with the ladies. I can speak good spanish and portugues. Is anyone going there the first two weeks of March? Is someone living there right now that has some advice on places? I just got here afew days ago for 2 monthes or so of work. Didn't take long to find afew of the places mentioned here, reggae bar and zip bar are both nice and easy to meet local talent. Starts real late as is usual in these parts. I don't speak any portugese but smile plenty and am not shy to buy a girl a drink. Makes it easy enough. First night in zip bar took a pro back to my place, in side door to avoid paying anything. I have never been to Fortaleza. I know this is a STRANGE question. But do the beaches how PUBLIC SHOWERS?

Yes the beaches have open showers every so often. Going to the pria seems to a the second national sport. Soom beaches are full of people but nobody going into the sea. Its more about tanning and walking the boardwalk. Alot of beachside cafes and activity. Very third world here.

Good day all and TgIF! Headed out for another night on the town tonite. Ripe pickins around here. Another thing I have had good luck, and other places, is plenty of fish, the free dating website. I thought it was just in the states and have used it for years to meet ladies. I travel alot and this makes it easy. I just changed my city to fortaleza and there is THOUSANDS of little braziliam fiskies lookin to meet. Been here 6 weeks for work and have had two episode where someone, all drugged out, threatened me. I'm a big guy, very aware of my surroundings and never get toooo drunk. Still, the situation here in fortaleza is very grim and desperate. Lots of beggers, I don't give money away to everyone, other than the cute ladies. But I have found it makes things alot easier and at the end of each day I have a pocket full of change anyway. I certainly don't want to end up in a third world hospital but I always look for the easy way out of any situation.

Both assholes who threatened me backed off when I turned around and faced them down, one I picked up a brick and would have been happy to put him out of his misery. Now I walk into town early and take a cab back home when its later.
