Couldn't help writing some of the "golden nuggets" in this trade, after seeing some of disappointments that the folks have shared. There can be
multiple chapters and variations in a mongering book of tricks - here is a chapter on "provider driven, budget class, mongering". (would not be using the term p*m* for the provider - even though that would be right terminology).
Most of the gals (will stick to this terminology for both "girls and ladies") in these budget deals are from rural and BPL families (irrespective of the
jeans and T-shirt they wear to pretend sophistication).
If you look at the economics of the trade, they are paid ranging from 500 to 1500 per customer, based on the demand that they generate and the
negotiation skills of the gals with the provider. The provider generally charges 2.5K to 3K to the customer. The provider always intents to take a cut of at least 2K per customer for himself - the more the merrier; (More middle men in the chain, the rate at your end gets highly inflated as
everyone takes their cut.)
The service levels provided by the gals remain more or less the same, irrespective of the money that you pay to the provider, as their rates are fixed (more on this capitalistic process later - "money v/s motivation!") . (On a diversionary track, think of the driving factors of the industries to connect the customer with the actual person delivering the service/goods)
Now for some core analytics and assumptions to arrive at some probable/realistic numbers in this trade.
The provider gets at l east 1 customer per day (folks traveling into the area, generally), and 5 to 6 customers on weekends - (local folks
predominantly).
A provider with good sales/networking talent makes close to 1.0L per month as his - from this he pays
- rent (if he provides his own place)
- LE contacts cut
- Transporter cut (this is the guy who brings in new gals/rotates the gals among the providers)
- Political backing/Party funds
- Local Muscle Support
The cuts for LE, the transporter etc are usually low; they purposefully do not "squeeze" the provider to pay more as they have multiple providers paying them their share of 5k/10k's. (This is a big ticket item, when you consider the volumes involved!)
Now the "money v/s motivation" part:
The tip that the gals gain at the end of the service more or less augments their earnings - and a sour customer who does not tip nothing great at the start of the day, spoils her mood/service for everybody else, OR can be due to sheer inexperience, OR sometimes the girls make upfront
assumptions about the guy's tipping ability and provides a poor service. OR in some cases, continue to pester all thru the service for tips, which
shows both desperation and hope. (and yes, then there are girls who are always bad)
And like everything, there is a PoV (point of view) based on the role that you don. (All the worlds' a stage... ) :-)
From a consumer PoV, the initial trick of the trade is to ensure that you do not pay too much to the provider. You cut your damages to well below
the market levels (paying high to the provider is not going to help in anyways!), so that you can share some of the money with the gal. At the start itself, give the gal a 100 (or something more, if you are in a good mood!), and mention that you dont like to be pestered about tips etc during the session, and you will be quite generous at the end, if you are satisfied. This will get the gal all charged up (unless she is already exhausted and is ready to call it quits for the day), to earn her share of extra tips (it is all about the money!).
Be a gentleman - Tip her reasonably at the end of the service, based on
your satisfaction and leave. (do not fall for the emotions of love etc, even if you get any superlative performance; note that it was all money
induced and has nothing to do with your glamor or stage performance) :-)
A caveat would be that for a repeat performance with the gal, your expectations on the service levels and her expectation of the tip level, will go up couple of notches (sometimes into totally unrealistic areas).
And yes, always play the cards based on what you are dealt with; not based on some standard openings as they do in a chess game. :-)

Actually this should really be part of a Monger's Coaching Manual. Be with situation and always stay real - is a monger holy grail.
Many of us would benefit by remembering this once in a while.

As the monsoon started, its raining continuously. After a long hot summer this rain brought a cool mood and taught of enjoying it.

This is my first report in here since becoming a member 6 months ago, so kindly bear with me. Being a newbie, both on this forum, and to mongering itself, I did not have much success early on in Chennai, being one of the more difficult locations to monger (as I found out, compared to Delhi/Mumbai/Kol). As this was my first time, I did not react and then she herself took the lead and whispered in my ear as to whether I wanted any special services. I had somehow managed to get off work for sometime and called up some numbers from the newspaper (I wonder if most of the sales this newspaper makes is to people looking for its MP classifieds). Anyway, ended up at an MP under the cover of a unisex parlor in T. N**** near the busstand. Agreed for Rs1500 and went inside a wooden cubicle with a lot of expectation. The girl/lady was late 20s from Thrissur. After the namesake massage, she gave a very mechanical HJ wanting to get it over with. The place was not clean either with lot of dust and debris. Tipped her Rs200. Even the pimp there expects a tip for bringing in a tray of tissues. Is this normal? Walked out never to go back again.

Taking a lead from Inblr01's latest report in the Kolkata forum, I researched O***t to see if I could get my hands on some contacts. There were lots of fake postings, but came across one number that was picked up by a lady from Chennai, who sounded positive without being explicit. She says she is from A****tur and is ready to meet. I dont know if this is for real or some prank being played.Is it wise to go ahead and meet this person.
Anybody with prior info/experience on this?

called this guy in afternoon and he asked me to come over and call me before i leave, call him at 4 pm, he says ok, half way thru he asks me to be there by 6 pm. i was like. what the f***? anyways, agree to it and be there around 6 pm. called him
took me to a decent looking aprtment, showed the line up. actually, he had 2 of them. very average looking stuff. chose one of th better, started off with bj, it was mechanical. by then, i figured there is no point stressing it out on my expectations. for a change, asked her to finish the deed as quickly as possible. she was surprised.
got out at the same speed she finished the deed. maybe my day was bad
