Managed to get in a little bit of everything while in BKK.

The only gogo giirls I take are ones that are recommended by friends who for whatever reason still seem to like gogo bars even though they have been in Thailand for years. It is a foolproof method and cost effective and very rarely disappointing. My friends are old pro's and have the girls all negotiated down to 2, 000THB for long time so I simply piggy back off that pricing too (to be honest I don't know exactly how they get the girls down to that price but all these guys have extremely high standards and don't go for less than the superstars).

If a girl wants to sell her body for a BB or a nose job then to be perfectly clear I am paying her to please me and to leave when I want her to leave. Not sure I agree with you. You have more of a western conception of prostitution, which I don't think Thai people share. I've met many bargirls who fit Szyzgies description. They're doing it for the money, yes, but if they can get the money and also have a genuinely nice time and some sex they legitimately enjoy, then it's a double win for them. Many of them will happily go for a lower price with a guy they like over a much higher price with a creepy pushy guy.

And I really haven't found many people who are outright disgusted by the bargirl scene. What I've found more is curiosity. I've even taken "real" thai girls to gogo bars before because they were so interested to know what it's like inside, and could never go alone. Many of them don't like trashy low class bargirls, but in regards to the actual act of selling sex, they're not horrified by it like western women are.
