Reached out to about half dozen providers on opmart and received a bite from one, two outright rejections from others for being a foreigner (at least they were polite and apologized). I jumped at the one taker and received instructions for an officetel, which may or may not be a good sign.

Hoppped in the car and started driving, thinking about past experiences- good and bad, prepared to bolt to Plan be- my sure thing locally. Arrived at the location, given the code and went to the room, and after ringing the bell this gorgeous girl answers the door. Absolute stunner, if she wasn't a 10, you could round up to it. She looked like the girl I used to see in 588 ten years who was also amazing and let me go all the way.

Unfortunately, this girl did not. As Bon Jovi previously reported and has been my experience, too, the Swedish massages are just that- swedish massages, rubbing, touching, teasing, BBBJ, DATY, you name it- except the one thing. It's unfortunate because she was so hot and I wanted to be inside her so bad, but it was not to be. I may continue to see her one or two more times to see what comes of it, maybe it can progress, who knows?

If Miari isn't closed already, it is certainly going to close very soon. I visited in late summer and a high steel wall rigged with scaffolding had been erected around the perimeter of the neighborhood. For whatever reason, the entries and exits were open and there were still a handful of old ladies walking around pulling providers in to view the goods. Among the working women I saw, not a single one was a looker. A few years ago at least one would have been to my taste. Not anymore. All the decent looking ones have left.

In other news, there was also a report in the Korean media that OPs, Hyugetels, Anmas, etc. are much harder to enter for first-timers (even Korean first-timers), because of continued police crackdowns. What I read was pretty direct in stating that new phone numbers are barred service. In other words, if your number isn't already in one of the databases, you won't be allowed to book. Management is simply too afraid that you might be a cop. Sucks, doesn't it?

This isn't to say that some new place might not relax their rules and let you make an appointment. It's certainly possible, but it's getting harder each and every day. Even compared to the last time I reported on the industry, there are even fewer ads and way less turnover, i.e., fewer new ads popping up.

That being said, I always try to book when I see a new Hyugetel on the odd chance that they're more open to new clientele. Well, this summer I made bookings at two new Hyugetels within a week of their openings. Both were great, offering all the services I like. I liked one so much that I visited twice. Unfortunately, both disappeared within a month. Police crackdown? Your guess is as good as mine.

Recently I went through all 80+ local listings on opstar to sort the wheat from the chaff. Of the listings, about 35 (nearly half) of them were of the Swedish shiatsu hyugetel variety. These aren't bad, the massages are really good and the finish can be great, but if you're looking to finish FS you'll be disappointed. Of the remaining, 25 were FS Chinese providers, 16 were BBFSCIP Thai, Chinese, or Korean providers, and the rest were various (Romy, Karaoke, 1 shops, etc.).

Not interested in hairy Chinese providers with garlic breath, I reached out to the BBFSCIP shops to see if there were any bites. I wanted to see if any officetels were available and after messaging 18 shops, I received 3 replies- all massage businesses. None of the BBFSCIP places that I messaged even bothered, staying reserved for the Korean only clientele. As Bonjovi3 mentioned, it's getting harder to find places that will reply and if they do, it's usually an established massage business.

Striking out in the opstar scene, I stopped by a local massage place. Recently, each time I've visited a Thai massage business, the women were seriously overweight and unattractive. This time when I stopped in, I noticed the front desk sign advertising Vietnamese women. I booked a 40 minute session for KRW 80 K and then an extra KRW 50 K to the lady for FS. The woman who came in was very thick, but not really fat. The session was decent, so I decided to go back yesterday to try again. This time a much more attractive woman with a nice body and great backside provided her services. She was willing FS for KRW 50 K and then an extra KRW 50 K for BBFSCIP.

Overall the session was great and her attitude was nice, so it's definitely somewhere I will check out again. Perhaps the future holds more Vietnamese women as the Thai workers cycle out, which may be a good thing.

I reached out to one of the Opstar BBFSCIP providers that had stonewalled me the day before and got a bite. The first question was what country are you from? After replying, they asked to see my resident card. I covered up all information, blacked out my eyes, and then sent it to them. Satisfied, they proceeded to book me with a Thai girl and gave me the directions to an officetel. I arrived at the place at the scheduled time and it proceeded as normal.

Like previous posters mentioned, I think the managers are skittish about the police and won't bother with anyone unknown. Every time I message, they know I'm a foreigner right away (despite my best intentions to not write like one). Perhaps I should be more direct, wave my hands up and down that I am a foreigner, even send the ARC picture upfront and maybe I'll have more luck. Anyway, it ended up working out yesterday, even though the session was only so-so.
