Rain gets arrested and Manhattans get raided (according to NLO) within a day of each other (maybe on the same day). Also, a freelance pimp that I know suddenly deleted all WG pics from her WeChat account yesterday. And yet, new establishments are opening up? What gives?

Any "raid" on Manhattan is about immigration only technically because nothing actually happens on site. Right? Where did you hear about same? But in any case such immigration events only ever seem to last a short time and all is well again. Do you have information to the contrary?

As I wrote in my post, my Manhattans info came from NLO's site. I only have reliable intel on Rain. She was arrested, that's for sure, along with at least 3 of her girls. I was only wondering if it was a coincidence that these busts were occurring on the same days, or if a large scale sweep was occurring.
Incidentally, Rain's girls not yet arrested are scared. I think recent clients should be scared too. Let’s not forget that over a dozen Johns (including a senior ISG member) got taken from their hotels and arrested after Steven of SNG got arrested. Am I being an alarmist? Probably. But I err on the side of being paranoid. That's just me.
Now that Rain is done, and given that NLO's stable is limited, any other agency suggestions? I prefer incall and an English language site. I already identified some sites (MR and *** are obvious options), but was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation. Can PM me. Thanks.

As for clients, many were probably transient tourists or business travelers, long departed. No risk there. As for those of us living in Shanghai, I believe most know not to monger with a wechat account linked to our real identity, and never to reveal our precise address on wechat. I meet the girls in the lobby and don't believe they even remember my apartment number. Not perfect, but it is risk minimization.

Ultimatly nothing is 100% safe, we all take risks at some point.

The only reason nothing has happened yet is because the LE is busy frying bigger fish. Big brother is ALWAYS watching.
I have heard that Manhattans and judy's is all men last night with no girls to be seen.
The bartender at Manhattans said Judy's was raided the night before. It's still going on. Sorry that's all the details I have.

Traveled to Shanghai 2 other times for work and this trip will be the first one alone. I am looking forward to having fun a week from now and after reading through a couple of dozen pages of posts, M & J were to be the destination (even grabbed a hotel very close).
