There is also a difference whether they are expats in Thailand or guys simply vacationing. Could also be on the company tab if with clients. So you never know without asking.

The bar took 300 bhat for using the room and a bit for the drinks. Total damage 1500bhat, which isn't expensive at all, reading the negative reports here I was bracing myself for some astronomical bills.

Went on to have a meal on walking street and get amused by watching Russian grandmothers with a 6 year old in tow strolling up and down the red light district taking photos. Will check out more tomorrow. So far so good.

Tipping is optional and generally not expected.

BF 700 baht (whether you want the lady for ST or LT)

ST 2, 000 baht was pretty standard.

LT 3, 000 baht was pretty standard.

Of course it depends on your negotiating skills and what the lady thinks of you. With enough skill you can get the lady down to ST 1, 500 or LT 2, 500 (maybe even LT 2, 000 if she's really hungry / eager).

Though the stunners at Baccara GoGo will rarely go for ST 1, 500 baht. Or you could see if the lady will meet you after work (eg at iBar) to avoid the BF and maybe get her for a cheap freelancer ST / LT. Happy Group's tend to close at 4 am and after that I rarely seen any of their ladies at iBar / Insomnia. Hopefully my luck will be better this month.
