You may need to turn on data roaming
My T-Mobile doesn't work in Tijuana, it connects to Movistar but no internet. Anyone know? It is an iPhone 6, tried resetting and also airplane mode off and on but internet never works.
By default most phones have roaming turned off, you may need to go into network settings and turn on data roaming.
All verizon lte phones are unlocked
It maybe because my phone is an unlocked Verizon phone it doesn't have the band for mexico 4 g, I tried data roaming on still nothing, I am going to pick up a cheap android phone to use for mongering. After my last run in with Tijuana finest policia I don't want to carry anything of value on me while in Tijuana.
All verizon LTE 4 G phones are unlocked and considered a world or global phone because it has the antenna for both CDMA, which is used by sprint and verizon, and GSM used by ATT and Tmobile. In the states, I have used both ATT and Tmobile sims on my Verizon note5. However, you can't get onto their 4 g network and limited to 3 g or hspa (3rd or 4th generation).
Verizon iphones 5 and up are unlocked and global phones, they have more 4 g bandwidths than andriods phones so you should not have a problems using it anywhere in the world. I have found that sometimes it can not detect the local APN automatically and you have to set it manually. Some APN apps can solve this problem. Just search for movistar apn, then set apn for movitar on your phone and use it when in mexico.
oh btw, verizon has a program, for $2 a day you can use your phone in mexico using you data plan and pay no roaming fee. you should get a text from them when you enter mexico, if you accept, you are charged $2 for every 24 use in mexico.
Catherine Zeta-Jones in The Mask of Zorro (2007)
I was watching The Mask of Zorro with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Antonio Banderas and Anthony Hopkins on Crackles with a 4 K large screen LCD. The film was high-toned reddish, but the image definition was very fine and lively.
The movie was made in 1998. It had a bit of California and Mexico's 18 century history with some cultural life in the period.
Catherine Zeta-Jones was just the sweetest-looking, most ravishing young beauty in this Zorro movie series, worth watching. She looked old, over weight, not very attractive when she did "Traffic" with Michael Douglas.

The hardware is there, just limited by verizon carrier
You will find majority ATT and Tmobile phones have the bands for various countries and will work just about anywhere. You can then use a local sim card if your phone is unlocked. Verizon phones have limited bands and check to see what your phone has. Just being unlocked does not matter if the hardware is not on the phone.
Many Verizon LTE phones have the hardware, they have the qualcom modem in their samsung galaxy and iphone, but not the software to access the bandwidths because the carrier doesn't want you to use those bandwidths. Lifeisabeach is right, some models have less bandwidths than others. Verizon samsung and apple phones have the most bandwidths compared to other verizon phones. Verizon iphones 5 and up have the exact gsm/lte bandwidths as att or tmobile iphones, and an addition of cdma/lte bandwidths. For me, I needed a phone that can get onto both GSM and cdma networks so I went with verizon. Cdma has the best coverage in countries like the US and China.
With the android phones you MAY have to root the phone and run a custom rom to get rid of the carrier's android versions, this will allow you to access the hardware that is already in the phones. I had to do this years back on my galaxy s3 so i can enable the gsm/lte antennae because verizon disabled it. They only disabled it a year later with a software update. The hardware is there on verizon phones, they just disable it. now they have the antenna for both network enable..
With the iphones from verizon, there is no carrier iOS version, it uses apple's stock iOS, so the hardware is already enable, verizon iphones cover the most bandwidths of any phones on the market and considered a global phone. I have put up a pic of the spec on their latest iphone, you can see model for verizon has the exact bandwidths as the models for att/tmobil with an addition of cdma bandwidths. The verizon iphones uses the qualcom modem, the same in their intl models sold in China and Japan.
If you travel to mexico using a verizon iphone, you may be limited to the coverage of cdma/lte and may have to buy a local gsm sim for 200 peso and top it off. Verizon is phasing out their cdma coverage in mexico and canada, so using verizon cdma sim may have limited coverage.
on a side note. you can get onto verizon network on the 4th floor and up at cascadas on the north side of the building.
