I will be visiting Hua Hin for first time in January and looking for mid range hotel, 1500-3000thb. Must be girl friendly and walking distance to beach and bar area. Any suggestions?

This time of year you should be able to get Hilton for around Bht. 3.000.

You can try if Peony - close to Sofitel - have anything available. Its a nice place. Or else PP Villa or Jed Pi Nong.

i was in southern thailand this past weekend to visit a friend in trang. as i usually do, i stayed at the rustic trang hotel, which is right next to the landmark trang clock tower.

the hotel itself, (twin room for 470 baht), is old and not much to talk about, however, i did have fun with several women from the in house massage shop.

when you request an oil massage, (300 baht/1 hour - 500 baht/2hours), you are taken to one of the hotel rooms for the therapeutic deed. once the massage is underway, depending on your thai language skills and demeanor, you should have an opportunity for full or partial service from a willing service provider.

the two women i enjoyed on successive evenings both provided full service. the woman on the second night (#3) literally screwed my brains out with wild abandon, unlike anything i have experienced in awhile. granted, she was quite long in the tooth, but so am i.

interestingly, #3 had also given me a very erotic (!) traditional thai massage earlier in the day (excellent [i]finish[/i] included). based on my double header with her, in the future, i think i may give more "old girls" a try.

just remember, as with many "off the beaten track" locales that see few, if any, [i]farang,[/i] if you have no game & no [i]paasa thai[/i] skills, just being there does not guarantee fun...

Thanks for zapping some of the few ancient brain cells that I have left Fon Tok! The Trang Hotel brings back some great memories.

After helping to check you in and taking your bags up to the room, in the old days, the bellman would just ask you straight out if you "want lady", then just steer you to a room on some floor with a "Boofull Lady Pahma" (Burmese girl.) The girls would always be genuinely surprised when it was a farang (and they actually spoke more English than they did Thai!) Very very fun stuff happened.

That old hotel was mainly for Thai traveling salesmen, probably still is, but the chicks there were pretty darn cute if you ask me!

I think the first night I "tipped" 500 baht (for 1 hour session after some easy negotiating), and the second night 800 baht (for 2 hr session with no discussion of money). The second night was definitely superior to the first.

For the morning Thai massage (w/extras) I tipped 500 baht (2 hours session). It was a very exceptional Thai massage session, (one of my top 5 out of hundreds), and I was priming the woman for the evening session. Damn, if the woman didn't have me aroused for almost the entire two hours.

Do know that both of these women were mature. But, they both had great sets of tits! ;)

All resorts that I know of are girl friendly. Bars are available in White Sands Beach and Kai Bae. Best is to have a scooter. Song taews travel irrregularly at night.

For the bars there is a small strip opposite McDs on the road down to the beach - standard beer bar territory for anyone used to Patong or Pattaya - sit there select girl buy drink discuss term 500THB Bf and off to the hotel which for me was Orchid Resort - dead easy to walk past reception without need to comment or show Id

The downside is they all want 2000THB and because they are so few in number it makes sense to just pay up
