Very clean, neat and pleasant.
I have never tried the mongering scene in Curitiba. Only the non-pro scene, which was good.

It's an average flight of 1h and the prices are between R$97 to R$130.

Curitiba is the capital of Parana and it's described as The Model City of South America. The French car manufacturer Renault has a big assembly line down there and the unemployment rate is only 4%.
The (non-pro) nightlife is good but I know nothing about the boates, escorts or privês down there. It's a nice city to visit but keep in mind that's probably not Rio or São Paulo when it comes to hobbying.
For those who love German cuisine and beer I highly recommend two places in São Paulo:
1) The first one is located in Brooklin Novo (not far from Santo Amaro) and it's called Zur Alten Mühle (The Old Windmill). Eine typische Bierstube! Their beers are out of this world and the cuisine is fine too. There are some table outside on the sidewalk.
