It did not open tonight. Currently they are not sure when it will reopen. I'll post when more is shared.
As of last night they are saying at least one more week to get the bar's paperwork sorted out so they can reopen.
Any word yet when they will be open? Wonder if the 4th of July party will go on as planned?
Any word yet when they will be open? Wonder if the 4th of July party will go on as planned?
Bar still closed, they're saying any day. No 4th July party as it's usually the Sunday before. I am here now at the mansion. Pool bar just opened a few days ago but limited to hotel guests. Even chicas are limited unless they have an appointment. Other than that they're just letting in a few without an appointment.
Any word yet when they will be open? Wonder if the 4th of July party will go on as planned?
As of last Thursday front desk was saying 2-3 more weeks to get the permit renewed. So here's hoping it's just two more weeks. Ouch.

He is out of town currently, so 2-3 weeks more is likely. Other things I heard is the Castlllo (M2) is closed to guests cause Aussie Greg (original Owner) lives there and had his leg amuptated and doesn't want any noise around him now.

I have been informed that all permit issues have been resolved, and the bar at the mansion will be reopening tonight. Many people, including girls, have been informed, and a good crowd is expected tonight and this weekend.

I'm very curious to see what the experience looks like here. Does it still make up to expectations? How do you book? Cost? Girls really come here and hangout? Do they have a website? Would like to know if anyone can give me some info about this place. I'm planning to stay here next time I visit Medellin. I would really appreciate any info.

You have to email them to get the current room rate list. But all the rooms are listed there. There are additional rooms at another house up the hill (http://www.casaalejandria.com/) but you really don't want to mess with that, as the walk is a pain and all the action is at the main hotel. There are daytime girls (there are so many slots per day, the girls rotate through them, no charge for the girls, but they have to call ahead to get a slot) and then at night they have converted what used to be a large 4+ car garage into a separate bar / club (La Cueva, El Bar, etc.). To keep it legally separate, the entrance is external (there is an internal entrance, but only staff has access to that). Google Maps Street View shows it well. The club is open-to-all, free for girls, free for guests, and $50 k COP for non-guests. It goes in waves at night. There's a pre-dinner wave (6-9, a dinner wave, 9-11, and a post dinner wave 11-1/2). You can see between 3-25 girls there at various times, with the highest popularity on Wed-Fri nights (though Sat is not bad). You are free to invite / bring-back any girl from outside, no charge, but they will verify / record their ID.
The hotel includes free breakfast every morning (including for any girl who stayed with you overnight), room service per-request (including in between girls), and screens the ID of every girl who comes it (and records it). They have plenty of cameras too, and girls are afraid of getting 'banned' (which happens easily) so it is very safe and chill. Current going rate (mostly due to inflation) is $300 k COP ($75) but you can negotiate down to $250 k or higher-end ones might demand $400 k. I find an overnight is relatively easy (11+ pm some girls ask and offer for free, so they don't have to get a ride back home too late) and if you are paying maybe $300 k more. But very negotiable.
There is working WIFI (thank me later, this took some time investment from me to get them to fix it right last time I was there), and a number of rooms have small desks and are mostly quiet enough you can get work done. A small refrigerator in each one lets you store your drink and snacks. There is a Davidienda Bank / ATM right down from the hotel for easy ATM money withdrawal, and easy money exchange at the Oviedo Mall walking distance from the hotel. Oviedo Mall also has the nearest supermarket (through there is more than one), also walking distance.

Hey,
The people from the mansion got back to me and sent me a link via email and when I went to do a deposit my bank flagged it as a fraud and then I contacted them again and said hey oh my bank declined this but they said, I cannot pay for it if I have a new link and they never sent me a new link so I was just kind of scam. Does anybody have this problem with trying to make a deposit for a room at this place?

They get busy and may have forgotten to re-email you the link.
