In the next few days, I will be in Saigon and Hanoi with the family and a newbie to Vietnam. I was hoping to get a sneaky massage in here and there. Obviously, there is the red-light district, but what I have read on TripAdvisor, is, do not expect anything more than an underpants-on massage for 20 $ or 15,000 dong. Does anyone know what the deal is there?

Dropped into a shop in Epsom Rd which has always looked promising.

Met by a pretty Chinese girl in her 20's, who showed me the room. Undressed, down to my jocks, and lay down. It's always a good sign, despite the almost obligatory handwritten "No sex" sign on the wall, when she came back, she quickly pulled the jocks off.

I say no thanks, turn and walk out. I think she made a snide remark about being cheap. I'm not spending more than $100 and certainly not for a clothed hand job with a plain Jane Chinese chick.

All good - $100 still in my pocket for far more fun in Preston / St Albans.

Sex for money in Viet is not as much in your face as say Thai or Camb but its there.

Whether or not it's a karaoke bar or club, gangster club or specific streets that specialise in sex services, its all there underneath the surface.

District 1 is a Mecca for tourists and you will pay accordingly.

It all depends on how deep your pockets are.

Two streets in Saigon are the go. Your taxi driver will know them well.

Going to the main tourist and back packer centre wiĺl not be best for you if you are with family.

As confirmed by a Vietnamese tour guide prostitution and sex extras and drugs are highly illegal and the shops take it very seriously. Stumbled on the red-light district at night. An intriguing mix of lane ways housing cat-houses of young women in white gowns. Seemed like a bust and they all ran in directions. Ha Noi the same deal went for a few excellent body and head massages for 15 $/ HR Std issue boxers and won't touch the glutes. Finally on the last day hustled the lady spa owner to include the arse full-body. WE went to the third floor and engaged in an under pants off massage / kissing / touching and a nice slow climax but not nude. She gave me her card and contact details I said how much? She said a million and gave her two 500,000 notes. I broke the drought and felt happy but paid over the top that's 64 AUD. There are plenty of Grab scooter riders that rock up and show their phone with loads of young pale faced cuties and even hash or a stash. They won't give you the address but take you there. At a 1000 to 1 won't take the risk.
