If she was using a knife or gun to coerce money from him or she was holding him captive, I would call 911 in a heartbeat.

' If he's an elderly extpat retiree, he's probably lonely with no immediate family member in the Philippines to care for him or inherit his money. One possible downside is that typhoons in the northern Luzon area sometimes pull monsoons (known as habagat) out of the South China Sea and dump a bunch of rain on the middle part of Luzon, I.
