I followed all of the directions posted here in getting to my hotel. Due to BS delays I was late getting in though. Taxi was super fast. Ended up only paying 475 to my hotel. Windsor Suites. This place kinda gets a bum rap. Yes you have to pay 1000 if someone stays over but if you are like me and want to get a good nights sleep after a long flight its fine.

Then I went off to Finnegans bar and had lunch there. Food was damn good. Back tomorrow. They had a St PATS event today. Kinda good fun. I ended up with a staff shirt of theirs!

Pepper and I got out of the room a little before 8 pm. It's been wicked cold in BKK (low 60s). We'd gotten a bite for lunch and some provisions at Foodland around noon but generally we had spent the day surfing, exercising, eating, sleeping and watching TV.

I got a phone number at the Wall from a fresh face. Bangkok girl. She said she was living up on Ladprao w / her mom and a couple of younger brothers. Great long legs, really cute, wearing those fake big eyes. Maybe a Thermae girl I thought willing to actually bang the white man. Maybe, I'll find out in a day or so. She started at 1, 500 but agreed to 1, 000. I filed that info.

Smiles and I walked through 3 go gos. 2 Rainbows and a Mercury. Really quiet in the Plaza customer wise. Hopefully, finally, high season is winding down. It was a big one. And maybe all of the yippun who would normally be in town have stopped spending money on hoes and returned to the motherland to clear the rubble and radioactive debris. Fair amount of girls on stage and milling about in those bars, a couple of them doable.

We hit the street and I headed back down the soi home. I had telecommunicated w / CRP (Chiang Rai Princess) earlier in the day and she was scheduled for her usual 11 pm arrival. St. Paddy's Day or not, the street, for the first time since October maybe, was quiet. Low season is going to be good.

Made it home w / time to spare to shower, shave, do 10 push ups and make a cup of hot tea. CRP called from the taxi as I have asked / trained her to do which gives me time wet down my cowlick and take my pill.

She knocked and came in. She's so hot. 41 kilos with white skin, the ass of a 12 year old boy, super long straight black hair and legs until Tuesday. I haven't been to Bangers since the Japan earthquake struck. Does anybody have any info on how our Japanese monger brothers are reacting to this? I understand they are the first to cancel if there is a problem, but maybe they want to get out of Japan until the crisis is over. Most of my Bangkok girlfriends are Japanese style and they fill their FB with "Pray for Japan" type messages, not clear to me what the impact is on the business. Are there a lot of Japanese on the ground now?

Anyone had a chance to scope out Thaniya recently? I'm curious if and how the Japan crisis has affected the businesses there.

It is unlikely though that those who booked their trips (and most of them come from Tokyo, Osaka and other large centers which were relatively unaffected by the quake and cunami) would cancel them. So I doubt there will be an immediate result. I gues it will take a month or two for thigs to get visible on the surface in relation to Japanese presence in BKK. Anyway it should be safe to say that there [i]definitely[/i] Will be some decrease of tourism from Japan in the short term (I. E. 3-6 months or so).

A lot of hotels are now reporting mass cancellations from Japanese. They will all now want to stay home and help.
