To people from first world economies, time is money.
To people from third world economies, time is just time.
I had this job in college, and just couldn't figure out how to get there on time. The job's income was important to my financial well being, but I just couldn't manage to show them the consideration for their time they felt they deserved for paying me on a regular basis. One day, I came in (late) and saw a guy sitting at my desk. My boss came out and explained that I no longer worked there. I was unemployed for almost a month, my financial situation went to shit and it took me a while to catch up. Since then, I've usually been on time to my commitments.
When a girl doesn't show, I wait for about 15 minutes, then I call. If there's no answer, I make other plans. If 30 minutes passes from the time she agreed to be there, I make other plans. Difficult to do when you've been looking at her sexy pics on facebook, or chewed a vitamin V and it's kicking in. But as long as she knows you'll wait, she'll make you wait.
Yeah man! I applaud your hard learned lesson of punctuality. Back in College I had a great job waiting tables. Like $200-$400 a night for a 20yr old kid is huge money. Shucks! That's good money for 80% of the world! Hahha! Same thing. Always late, thought I was king of the world. One day they brought in a new jeffe and next thing you know I'm out of a great job. I thought it would be fine but I went on to have a run of like 4 crap jobs and set me back years money wise.
Where did you get the photo? LOL!
