Bangkok Massage Parlors - Except TULIP and ANNIES!

Does anyone have any personal favorite oilies for great service level besides Tulip and Snow White? Is there any consistency at other places, or is it hit or miss depending on the girl. I've always had a pretty good experience at Tulip, but I just wondered if it was worth mixing it up, or sticking with the sure thing. I'm not necessarily concerned about the the girls being an absolute looker, because there are other places for that, but just about having a good performer. I've done some reading through the forum lately, and the big discussions seem mostly about prices going up and service going to shit.

If you want to have a good experience then you need to look for good women, rather than for good places.

It's true that some massage places attract the best women and enable them to be good at what they do. But this can easily change with a change in management.

I think you are more likely to find good experiences if you focus on looking for good women, rather than for good places. Because your experience is mostly with the woman and not so much with the place.

When a woman is really good with her guys and she has a lot of regular customers, then a lot of her customers follow her, when she switches massage places and starts working at some other place. Because your experience comes mostly from the lady and not from the place where she works.

You just need to realize that not every P4P lady is available for marriage. Because there are some married women doing P4P once in a while. And you do need to have enough money (income and / or savings) to support a family, if you want to get married in any country, including Thailand.

Bar ladies, who come from Isaan, often hope to marry some farang eventually. This is one of the reasons why they start working with foreigners.

I work daily with highly educated Thai people with expensive post-graduate qualifications. They work long hours in demanding jobs. 4000 baht is still a great deal of money here. Whether you visit this country 3 times a year or have racked up 20 trips, comparing the prices of other countries simply isn't valid. Visitors often spend large amounts of money in attempt to stand out from the crowd thinking it'll engender loyalty, exclusivity or will simply impress the recipient and encourage a greater performance level when they eventually return. It does none of these things and can often be counterproductive to both the generous benefactor and the wider scene. Being increasingly generous to those who have chosen an easy route who then provide a minimal or half completed job would not be acceptable in any other industry. Reading some of the reports here, I sometimes think that many lose sight of who is the customer and who is the provider. Demanding a certain service level does not mean one has to make the whole experience into a cold business like exchange. To read comments saying that others should accept the rapidly increasing prices again bears no relation to reality here. If my own and others salary here had gone up at a % matching the increase of P4P prices, I'the be very happy, especially if my performance had been allowed to slip without any comment from the company I work for and my attitude to the job had deteriorated to a point where I decided when and how much work I'the do at any time I chose. Yet this is what people who live have almost universally experienced being on the receiving end of.

When I go for a P4P session, I would like to think that a fairly consistent minimal level service would be rightfully expected (as in other cities / countries) given the prices demanded. For the record, I go into any encounter well dressed, speaking as much Thai as I can while listening to more, and keep things light even when they don't go so well. Added to that, things like anal and CIM don't interest me, so you'the think I'the be seen as an easy customer. Nowadays, when I go for a session, which should be entertaining and enjoyable, I feel increasingly anxious. I'm often wondering whether I'll come out more frustrated than when I went in. At places like Nataree (which I stopped going to years ago) and Addict (which I'm about to stop), my success rate of what I'the classify as a good experience is / was about 50%. It should be much higher but it seems there is no performance standard imposed at these and other similar places at all. Many customers of a range of nationalities seem happy to receive a decreasing level of service, so that then becomes the norm.

The scene here becomes progressively less enjoyable; some nearby countries are emerging while others retain a consistent level of service. Just look at Phnom Penh to see how quickly a scene can be ruined and diminished by over paying punters and other factors. Think it couldn't happen here? I meet newbies here almost every week. Guys on holiday who strike up a conversation in a restaurant or at a bar. We hang out together for much of the time they spend here. It's fun. Many of them are younger, better looking, more charming, smarter and in a dozen other ways the kind of guys you wouldn't think would hit too many glitches in a P4 P haven like Bangkok. But without exception, by their third night here they have a story to tell about getting ripped off by a bargirl, wasting a ton of money in a Massage Shop or Soapy for crap service or even no acceptable service at all. This is unsolicited on my part. I promise you I never "lead the witness" in this regard. I am all positive and optimism on their first visit to the LOS.

More often than not, by the end of their first week here they are already reluctant to take the next girl, accept the next "glowing" offer, fall for the next "sure thing" experience because, by then, they have had at least a couple more rip off scam experiences around town and are now extremely gun-shy about it. The question is no longer, "Will it be just a good experience or a great one?", but rather, "Will it be a successful "mission accomplished" or will it be another colossal waste of time, money and emotion?"

That is not a huge selling point for a P4 P destination. Yes, it is still better than most of the world and much better than most of our home countries. But I don't think that would exactly thrill many prospects on a travel brochure. LOL.

When I go for a sesh at a parlor, I should not be worried about what I am going to get. I should know exactly what to expect. Should not be a roll of the die or a spin of the wheel. And for sure, if I were to slack on the job, I might not have more. I certainly would not be paid more for less.

Then comes the mass tourism of Chinese, Koreans, Russians, ect. More and more customers are competing for the small remaining young / cute workforce, that's when this group price sky rocketed in this 10 years. I would also say the quality has gone down a tad over the years but even more so, the service! Used to didn't have to worry too much about performance as you were the conductor and laid the framework and the majority were always good outcomes.

The best advice I abstracted from here, learned on the street, or have come to embrace to lessen wasting valuable LOS time is as follows.

When a lady looks like a potential candidate for the evening, the first thing out of the mouth should be "do you barfine or go with customer" and I have learned to now piggyback "tonight you OK to go" . During my trips I have wasted so much time and money getting tunnel vision ed on a spinner or coyote only to find they "no go to loom". I enjoy buying some drinks and mingling etc, but now always get clarification prior to lady drinks etc.

Used to be the MP newbie that just paid and hoped for the best, or be too shy in front of a line up, but screw that approach now, and like some of the Champs here on this board, toe the line and tell them what your seeking instead of just picking some eye candy and hoping for the best come game time. If everyone at Addict put their hand up when asked who only does CBJ, I now don't hesitate to walk the heck out as the only thing that is constant is there is another MP and Singha just a stones throw away. I agree with the guys here that the MP's are the way to go during the day for getting what you like but you have to be on your game at night to ensure the Loom letdown doesn't occur.

The fees that the ladies throw out are simply a starting point and I was one of the ones that used to just pay whatever but not anymore, but now will simply move on if the going rate isn't agreed on and the statement of tip afterwards if performance good, has been working well.

In summary, I am now cordial and polite, but immediately inquire and rule out prospects, wherever the venue, before buying drinks or huddling up with some beauties before kick off!
