Its just beginning. The new normal in Tijuana
Business as usual. Being a Vet, watch your ass when you are on the streets. After hours always pair up.

TIJUANA (MEXICO) (AFP) -.
A man was found hanging under a pedestrian bridge in Tijuana, a Mexican city bordering the United States where drug-related violence has resurged, authorities said Thursday.
The victim hung from a chain with his hands and feet tied when he was found on Wednesday, said Jose Manuel Yepiz, spokesman of the Baja California state prosecutor's office.
A threatening message was left on the body. It is the second time this year that someone is hanged from a bridge in Tijuana..
Parking suggestions San Ysidro
I'll be heading down south tonight. Can anyone recommend a place to park overnight on the San Ysidro side that would be safe and not too expensive?
Thanks in advance.
Just a reminder about police
Remember guys, the holidays are almost here.
The Mexican police have families and friends that they need to buy presents for, and they do not get paid much.
What this means is, you are much more likely to be targeted from now until after New Year's day.
Keep some cash hidden, don't carry any kind of pocket knife or pills, and remember: Mexican law does allow stops and searches for no reason.
If you do get stopped and taken somewhere for a 'discussion' in the police car, remember that sometimes they are negotiable and won't take all your cash. On the other hand, others will ask you to go to an ATM machine and take out as much money as you can.
Have a nice holiday!
What a great country and a fantastic culture.
I love Mexico.

Free street parking on E Beyer Blvd along the rail road track
E Beyer is 1 block East of the main drag, San Ysidro Blvd. , behind the Wells Fargo bank and the Rodeway Inn, which is only half a block North of the JIB.
Every time I walked through that street I found new broken glass on the street, IE. Cars broken into. Don't know if the situation improves now, but if you have an older car, I don't think they would break in.

Cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Xel Ha, Akuma, The Rivierra, Quintana Roo
That coast line has some of the most beautiful beaches, with crystal clear water, golden corral sand, teeming with abundant sea life of all kinds.
Mayan ruins are mixed in the verdant jungle way out to the beaches.
There are a couple strip bars along the main road from Cancun down South to PDC. Girls are expensive in that area at least for the tourists. There have to be venues for locals with pretty girls at Tijuana prices.
Any bros who have local info re where to find bars like Hong Kong or Adelita along the coast line in Quintana Roo, please share.
The owner doesn't care, no point in complaining
Yeah what a fucking rip off because of this I don't go to Tijuana weekends they're taking advantage of the demand and no other places to park overnight closer to the border. So if you are not back before 10 am by Friday be prepared to pay $32 and for a two day weekend $50 it's insane we should call the company to complain or report them to BBB.
There is a post of this in yelp review. The owner responded that, since his lot is now closer to pedwest than any other parking, he charged more since the mexican walk way to pedwest was finished in Sept. And that he's price gouging blah blah, which is true, be / see this is not considered a necessity for life and there is no emergency. Nothing much can be done about it. It's his lot, he now has the prime location with border station parking being the closest to pedwest so you must pay for the convenience. Supply and demand. I sure miss uefa parking lot.
