Customers can no longer take showers. Room entrances cannot be covered. Only 7 min is allowed for a door to be covered so the customer can change. No one knows why. In the past this would happen when a big official would visit. It's maybe related to June 4th. The HJ place is now a foot bath place. This is a place not frequented normally by non Chinese. I would recon there is now a large population of CN males that are frustrated by this "situation" seems to be just the opposite of a government that wants to keep the population happy. Many workers are displaced with family at home. Will this drive them back home where they can be controlled better?

I went to five random spas today and they were all closed or said they weren't allowed to take male clients for 10 days due to 'government problem'.

My intel says that shops will start reopening on around June 20.

I had dinner with some old friends until kind of late, and was no more in mood to call my hotel in-house spa for service. Also kind of to my surprise, when I was walking on Nanjing Road to the bund, nobody approached me with massage / girls / etc. Maybe I am Chinese, or maybe the weather is not good. Safety was OK. Good service and standard girls, good and not good looking. All choices. Prices respected as per wechat message.

Sincerely I never had safety problem in China, people always behaved nice. You respect them, they respect you. And if something happened I did not like, I just politely refused and left. No issues. The only advice I had always from friends and from the reports you can read on this thread, was to never, ever go with those who stops you in the touristic place and ask you if you want a "lady massage" or tea test. Those are scams.

I think police should shut down these organizations, not our beloved he massages places!

A manager from a big high end sauna & cigar lounge showed me the sms which she got asking her to close until June 25 or 26th I forgot.

Shanghai is under heavy inspection from the disciplinary commission or however its called and not just Shanghai. The high end sauna chain I'm talking about had to close in Zhejiang, Jiangsu aswell and was still opened in Shenzhen at the time but maybe that changed since then.

We'll know end June / begining of July if the wind cools down or if we are in for another cycle. Its likely the current tension with the US is not helping since it creates tension within the party.

I don't always see 100% eye to eye with Black Page but he is a very experienced monger with great knowledge of many areas to share. I wish I had been on the ground in SH when he was there recently as I know I could have assisted his search. Maybe next time.

YES I have no doubt my 2 favourite bars in Nanyang Lu / TongRen Lu area will re-open in a bit. It's an interesting period we are going through.

Couple more places visitors might like to hit up. Windows Garage on Nanjing Lu late nights late week usually has wall to wall Africans. Nest on Beijing Lu has a good cross section Chines / Internationals almost every night from 11 pm on. If they are sitting at the bar it's a great indication they yearn for male company.

Get out there and attack guys. There is a never ending supply. Just go cut one from the herd.

I know him from his posts in the Batam thread. Batam is not an easy place to monger, and so if he can do it, then he's someone worth listening to.

First of all: BBB, you did not miss anything. It was just a follow-up to express my agreement with what Midwestern had commented about some other post. Let's forget.

I have been a loyal contributor to ISG for more than 12 years, maybe 15. I have been frankly shocked to receive suddenly not one but TWO infractions in two months, one because in Batam I wrote one line in Bahasa Indonesia, to reply to some humorous question made in Bahasa by a fellow member, and now this one in this thread, where I simply wrote to agree with Midwestern.

Guys, I am here to contribute, submit field reports, respond questions if I know anything. We are here to share information and to have some fun, also making jokes if it happens. All respectfully of course. I wrote the stories of my experience in Shanghai in a series of posts. I understand I visited it at the worst time. Too bad for me. Regrettably, I will not go back to Shanghai, at least I cannot foresee when. However, we will keep in touch on ISG.

That's the main reason why the url went from the INFO extension to the NL extension. Someone tell me if I'm wrong. First post here but I've read the site for a while. Figured it was time to contribute.

This was my second session with HuJing, first was about a year ago but the pickings have become a bit dry in the meantime. I speak Chinese so the setup was easy, but her English is definitely more than adequate and should have no issues conversing with international clients. I booked a 2 hour full service+massage option 3 k. Usually I find that pricey but I wanted a nice massage along with FS and my usual options were unavailable due to the wind. Had her come to my apartment / hotel lobby and she was kind enough to wait about 10 min while I cleaned up.

Hu Jing has a great bod, nice firm see-cups and slim. She has a stereotypically exotic / oriental face which I don't find pretty but is passable and I can understand why some find her attractive.

We got into the shower together and she did a good job of focusing on the important bits. Later on we got on the bed for the massage which I definitely needed after 17 hours of air travel. Hu Jing has professional massage skills, my only complaint is that she seems not to try as hard on the naughtier elements of the massage if there is going to be FS in the offing. I may try a non-FS massage to get another data point one day. After about an hour we started off with a BBJ followed by cowgirl and missionary. She had resistance to doggy that I had to coax her out of but we ended up finishing in that position.

Overall a great experience if a bit pricey. Combination of a good massage + GFE FS is good for those occasions when you really want both.

Great bod. But face is not so great. But she and Wenli helped me survive the last crackdown and I'll always be grateful to them for that. I took turns seeing them every week. Both were willing to book ST hotels for us, but now that ST hotel option is limited.

I'the rank Beverly above Hu and Wenli.

As expected my stay there in Shanghai was a bit of a disappointment. I can confirm as of Thursday night both M&J are still closed. I also went looking for Windows Garage on Nanjing but it too is closed and moved to another location.

On Thursday the Spot opened back up in its new location right next to Judys. I probably spotted less than 3 ladies who were looking for friendship. Down at the Blind Pig I spotted the same two on consecutive nights. They were 7-8's. Overall the cupboard is bare, as expected.
