FWIW, noting your circumstances I think you'd be mad not to try Thailand.

I have been going since the 90's & whilst some say it's not as good as it used to be, it still outshines every other Asian country, in fact I reckon it prob outshines everywhere esp for what you are seeking. The country accepts (or at least understands) the $'s 'Sex Tourism' brings in & as a result the Thai's attitude to the scene is very open. You can get anything you want there from a cheap 1,000 Baht R'n'T to a PSE with Model types for 10,000 Baht an hour! Just in Thailand, you could travel between Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Chiang Mai & the islands & I suspect you'd be able to tick a heap of items off your 'bucket-list' & you haven't even left the country yet.

The fact that everything is so accessible, organised, relatively cheap & safe for you should make it your 1st, 2nd & 3rd choice IMHO. I've been to the Philippines & whilst good (places inc. Makati / Manila, Angles City & Cebu) it doesn't compare to Thailand for variety & openness, you have to remember this is a devout catholic country where 'shame' & 'guilt' are prevalent, whereas the Buddhist nature of Thailand ensures less of the same drawbacks.

Cambodia is v. Cheap & OK but nowhere near the variety of Thai / Philippines; I wouldn't touch Bali with 10 Foot Pole; never felt truly 'safe' there esp in the mongering scene, you also have Laos, Vietnam etc but each time I think about it, why wouldn't Thailand be your first (& possibly only) stop that you'll need to make.

I'd forgotten about Cambodia. It's pretty good and cheap too. Some real stunners to be had. The women here IMO are really poor and do the sex work out of necessity, more than anythtelse.

Yeah Cambodia can be fun but I found it very hit & miss tbh. It's certainly cheaper than Thailand but you're right the work is done out of necessity, whereas in Thailand some see this as a career-path with a view to finding a Farang who can whisk them away, it's why I've always preferred Thailand tbh, which IMHO comes across in the attitude.

LOL I know what you mean about Vietnam, had some fantastic experiences & some not so, I'd like to think experience counts but my last visited included a very bad experience so what the hell do I know!
