Actually, I think one of the best ways to make sure, short of a genetic test, is to look at the overally size of the hands and feet. Guys very clearly have larger hands and feet, even compared to women of the same height. Some trannies try to disguise their man-hands by ordering and holding larger drinks, but if there's any doubt put her hand in yours and compare sizes. You'll know pretty quickly based on overall size / finger thickness etc.

The ads say they can make more if they go arriba. That's just to dance around and get ficha (not sure if they have a quota right away or how that works). There's lots of ads in newspapers all over Mexico for jobs like this. A friend said he met a girl from Monterrey at HK last weekend and she said she worked in an office and responded to an ad in the local paper. But she got 1000 and whatever she made upstairs, but she didn't go upstairs. She planned on staying there only 10 days. I met a girl from Saltillo there yesterday or Wednesday that had heard about it from her friend at a club in Monterrey. She told me in no uncertain terms she's there until the end of the month and then she's back to Monterrey. Over the years mongering in MTY and Nuevo Laredo I've run into a few girls that would come to TJ to for a few weeks to make some quick money and the go away.

A lot of these new girls won't go arriba. Especially the ones that are new to the scene. The spectacle of HK must be overwhelming for many. Some don't even last a day.

HK is still the busiest place and they prob have the most chicas in the zona. With so many chicas the chances are even if you are picky you'll prob find a few that do interest you. Its a good place for low cost entertainment other then fucking. (and thats available too with alot of the chicas there)

The styles of the clubs in the zona vary so its like argueing about apples and oranges. AB chicas are there for fucking, HK chicas make their money with a mixture of fucking and ficha drinks and tips for personal services other then fucking.

Like I care. HK appeals to me when there are less guys there and the ratio of decent chicas is higher (like I said, I guess I'm a day monger in future). I go to TJ to get laid and have fun, in that order. Hanging in a hot, loud bar with 300 other guys is low on my list no matter what the few decent chicas are doing in the tub or on the stage.
As far as educanes, I assumed the chicas in uniform were educanes, not to split hairs but they were about all that was worth looking at.

When I was there last week the "edecanes" were still there. As Super Gato said, not as many, but they were there. It seems that they were dancing on the stages more, and less lined up on the second floor.

As for the Adelitas/HK, which lady is better, IMHO it really depends upon my interviewing. I have good sessions at both places, and I have bad sessions at both places. For me, I think the determining factor is which head I was thinking with at the time. I would say that in HK, if you are buying drinks, to check and make sure that the lady will go upstairs first. Not all do, some only dance.

My wingman pulled a hottie out of Las Chevlas, and she was off the charts according to him. He broke her Gringo cherry, and she wanted to make sure he remembered it. LOL

The good news for me is that there are plenty of very hot Latina's in the Zona at any of the big 5 (less at Tropical). IMO, even at Chicago, after about ten, I can always find three or four who are very doable.

So finally I made it down to Tijuana after much anticipation. Arrived Thursday afternoon around 2 pm may 6th. Went straight to HK and got situated. Not too crowded early but did start to hop later early evening because of the carnival thing they were doing. Girls were for the most part not bad. Few lookers. What a loser I am.

I wanted to see what the VIP room was like and I was enjoying her company. So I took the 70 dollar plunge. It was a nice set up. We got the room overlooking the bar near the alley. Educanes: Show chic who do not have a health card yet. Danceing chica. Clearly identified with a sash ribbon.

I had to jump on the opportunity to explain something to you, Mel. Usually you are doing the explaining to me, and other less fortunate mongers who don't get to partake of the chicas of SXM and CUR as often as you.

Hong Kong is similar to the brothels of SXM except much bigger. You walk in, pay the cover (if there is one) and order a drink. There are girls dancing on different stages throughout the facility. Sometimes there is a 2 girl show with lots of shaving cream and, sometimes, a lucky waiter who gets to join the girls. There are other girls in the bar sitting, walking around. If you want to talk to a girl, you approach her and start a conversation. Within a few seconds, a waiter will approach you and ask if you want to buy the girl a drink. If you agree, the girl will order the drink of her choice (which she gets a cut from the bar). When she is done the drink, the waiter will ask if you want her to have another. Once you say no, the girl will usually leave and start looking for her next drink provider. Some girls will just do this all night, and some will do this, along with going to the hotel next door for a 30 minute session (similar to SXM).

The educanes, or "sash girls", will usually just dance for tips and maybe drinks, but usually don't go to the hotel. They wear sashes, like beauty contestants. Most, I believe, are newbies, just breaking into the business and may not have their health cards like other sex workers are required. This is a new addition to HK that started about 2 years ago.

An Edecán is a "spokemodel." In most instances in Mexico you'll see edecanes at sporting events, Oxxo openings, etc where you'll see fit girls representing beer (Tecate Girls) or other companies (Telcel, newspapers, etc). They'll be dancing to music in skimpy outfits emblazoned with their sponsor's logo. You can see thousands of examples googling for the term "edecan" in Google or YouTube (as there is no nudity, videos of edacanes abound on YouTube).

The Hong Kong application are as Ath Trainer mentions. They dance around sometimes in matching outfits and sashes for tips and fichas. For the most part they're there as eye candy. A few will do privados but rarely will go upstairs. Unlike the strippers who as the name implies strip. The edecanes will leave their clothes on. Contrary to popular myth, this is not like some internship or break-in period. For the most part, these girls don't see themselves as putas like the strippers and girls that go arriba.

Some edecanes will become full fledged HK girls that will strip, go to the room, etc after seeing the huge income potential some of the girls are getting.
