I am moving to Pereira. I got a finca there where I can live with my two horses, my loving girlfriend and in a better land than Cali.

I got so tired of the social aspect in Cali, that I'd figure that I'd live in a finca with little neighbourgs.

I will most probably start a forum on Pereira as I will want to become the king of Pereira. As a matter of fact, Pereira will most probably become a hot destination as American will fly there 4 times a week directly from Miami next year. So, I assume that many of you will want to start expanding their horizons through new destinations...

I think I did a small report on Pereira last year. I staid only 2 nights but the amount of casa's seemed endless for this rather small city.

I'm sorry but I don't like to reach Cartagena because it is too much marketable.

After reading some Cali reports I've decided to definately check it out but I'm curious why Cali doesn't seem to generate the buzz that Medellin does, that could be a good thing but wonder why. Are the girls not as attractive?....i heard the girls here have more of an indian look like girls of Caracas rather than the caucasian Paisa....since when is that a bad thing.

Also has anyone had any experience with a casa called "Millieum" I believe it is near the soccer stadium

I've been to both cities quite a bit ...

IMHO ... both cities have absolutely beautiful women ... like you said, Medellin having, in general, the lighter complexion chicas ... I read that years ago ... to work the sugar-cane fields / other crops, African-slaves were shipped into Cali by the Spanish ... therefore the darker skin from the mix ... but BEAUTIFUL for sure.

But ... Medellin is definitely a more beautiful, more pleasant city as far as cleanliness, climate, metro system, etc.

I would say, in general, the Paisas (Medellin chicas), regular normal chicas are more complicated / drama type chicas than in Cali.
Cali has more of a care-free type personality than Medellin ... very friendly people.

Cali used to be the popular destination of the Gringo and now it has moved to Medellin ... but that will run it's course also and Cartagena will always be Monger central ... IMHO.

Caracas / Venezuela chicas which I know you have lots of experience are of a totally different flavor .... Caracas being much more of a "sophisticated" atmosphere than Cali.

Is there a hotspot in the world you have not been to? You certainly opened the doors to Med. and Caracas for me so your 2/2 so far. Cali is definately next.

Caracas has the most beautiful women in the world IMHO and I always have fun in San Ignacio but its gotten to the point down there where its not safe to walk even a few blocks in the more secure neighborhood in the city or else I'd spend my whole time there.

Monger Central... I am sure Cartagena loves that - they should work it into the tourist advertising

just as is happening now in Rio, EVENTUALLY the uppercrust will tire of people talking about sex tours to their city and there will be a crackdown. As more upscale tourists begin to trickle in, the dollars of the Laguito sex tourists will be much less necessary to the local economy.

Unlike in Brasil, Prositution is NOT technically legal in Colombia (like SO many Colombian laws, it is just not enforced currently).
