Boots on the Ground in Sao Paulo
Just sitting down to write after quite an eventful day. After reaching SP early in the morning (and enduring probably an hour waiting in the immigration line), I checked into the hotel, ate breakfast, rested up, and hit the town for a little tour of the Moema clinicas.
Clinica Tour.
The four I saw were Enjoy Spa, Miruna, Abbobora, and Prime. I began my trek just before 2 pm, and from what I saw I think I was too early. Both Enjoy and Prime only had two or three girls available, and they weren't really my taste. What is my taste? Generally speaking: white girls with pretty faces, skinny ones having a definite edge over the thicker ones, blondes also have a distinct advantage. I'm not really huge T&A, I prefer them natural but a tastefully enhanced bosom is acceptable (no fake asses please).
Abbobora had about 10 girls, a few of them were cute but no one checked all the boxes. But there was one girl (Clara maybe) who seemed to have a nice flirty attitude and I wanted to take her, but really wanted to check out the other clinicas first.
So I went to Miruna next and they had about 7 girls, 2 of whom were definitely a cut above the rest optics wise. I noted the name Amanda, she fit my conditions as laid out above, but I wanted to go back to Abbobora for the cute one. Unfortunately, she was taken when I got there so I ended up trudging back to Miruna (luckily they're like 30 seconds away from each other).
I picked up Amanda for a half hour. I would say she's a 7. 5. Cute face, all natural, no tattoos, blonde. She said she used to work at Scandallo for a couple years, and if I had to guess I'd put her age in the upper 20's. I could imagine her strutting her stuff in the club a few years ago.
And then things start to go downhill. We're in the room and she whips out a condom for a CBJ. I am basically unable to become and stay hard with a CBJ at this point, so the whole session was kinda ruined. I didn't try to kiss her, I'd imagine it would have been met with similar roadblocks. I'm open to non-newbies' tips on this matter. When should service be negotiatied? At the sala with the "mamasan"? In the room with the girl before the deed?
But really, this experience is actually making things clearer for me about my own tastes. These type of "massage parlor" settings are really not my cup of tea. I find it to be rather forced and unnatural, with very limited opportunity to gauge and develop any chemistry, especially with limited Portuguese and the absence of socially lubricating alcohol. I've noticed a same thing in places like Thai massage shops and Medellin casas, it's really not what I prefer.
I enjoy myself much more in strip club environments. I can sit back and slowly get more and more tipsy while gauging all the talent at once (rather than havaing to walk around to several clinicas). Chatting and getting familiar in the dark. I've had lots of fun in Thai gogo bars, Tijuana's Hong Kong, and Medellin's La Isla. I imagine a Scandallo environment would be better for me, even though I'd imagine it's not quite as in your face as an actual strip club.
The redeeming quality is, of course, the price. The whole adventure at Miruna cost me 190 BRL (just 35 USD). At that price point, how disappointed could I really wbe? I'd imagine for someone with more time than me (I'm only here for a few days) they would be able to extract an immense amount of value from these places. With patience, experience negotiating, and Portuguese skills, one can sort past all the disappointing performances and find a hottie with a great personality. So lessons learned, of course things can be better, but maybe clinicas as people have already said before on this forum. Different strokes for different folks.
Overall, most of the clinica girls I saw were 6 and below, but there were maybe 20% 7's and above. For a point of reference, I would say they were definitely better than the average Pattaya massage parlor or Medellin clinica.
Another thing to note, I was talking with Amanda and she mentioned that the whole weekend was kind of slow, with Tuesday being a national holiday (Lady of Aparecida Day) many people were taking Monday off as well. That might explain why there were such few girls avaiable in the clinicas. She also mentioned that Tuesday And Wednesday would probably be slow too. Looks like once again I picked the wrong week to be in SP!
On to the more boring stuff:
Hotel.
I'm staying at the Grand Hyatt. Seeing as most of my time will be spent in my hotel, having a really nice location is important. I am loving the 5-star setting and at this price point its hard to beat. The staff are complete class acts, they upgraded me to a suite, the food so far has been great (breakfast and Grand Lounge happy hour are free for Globalists). Loading up on the pao de quiejo.
Covid test.
Another point of drama. I opted to get the test offered by Hyatt themselves, where they have a parternship with a lab nearby. I was told it cost 280 BRL, but wasn't told that there would be a 350 BRL surcharge for coming to my room. I was not happy at the prospect of paying a Scandallo girls' worth just for a goddamn rapid test, and I raised a stink to the manager. Fortunately they said they would refund the amount from my reservation. Squeaky wheel gets the grease!
Portuguese.
I speak fairly good Spanish, and boy Portuguese is tough. I can barely understand what people are saying, but they seem to be better at understanding my Spanish / Portuguese hybrid. I did a few weeks of Pimsleur before coming here, but it's really a different beast. For sure Spanish is a life-saver, but I look forward to becoming more adept at Protuguese. Hyatt staff is largely fluent in English thankfully.
My SP experience 9/22-9/30/21
Just wanted to give my 2 cents to any interested on my first experience. This forum has helped me a lot and I wanted to contribute the details I often seek.
My experience: Been traveling since 2007. First trip was to Rio.
Covid: Going to from the US, if you can afford the PCR test at the airport, just get one there. I was not allowed to travel as they did not accept my test. Returning back to USA. GRU has a covid station on site. I used it. It was like 38 $ US. It takes four hours for results. They say they will email you. I got the email that said get the app to see results and the app was not functioning for me or my comrade. They will print out results for you at airport. I was booked to leave Monday at 1 am. I went Saturday at 12 am took 15 minutes and went out to the club. Covid sucks and I question if it is worth traveling during it.
Scandello: Says it is open from 12 Pm-6 am. If you have ever had the privilege of going to Discoteca Help (Rio De Janerio), this spot is the best part of the trip and it is Help on steroids. Unfortunately, I stand in Jardins which is like 25 min away by Uber. Discreet location. You may even worry where you are being taken but it is all good. Entry (400 R $) 75 $ which includes a credit for 2 small drinks. You need ID as they give you a credit card which you will pay for, to include entry fee, upon exit. Staff is friendly. Spot has live music playing, luxury tables, booths plenty of space. Huge restaurant area if you meet a girl, you are hungry, or just want to get to a quieter area of this huge facility. More like a one level convention center. So after you check in and get your credit card, you are escorted to the elevator and off upstairs to level 2. Once you exit the elevator, small bar to your right and the restaurant area. Walk forward, you enter the club area and the women. As I read in these forums, if you can not find something here, you may want to question your sexuality. I saw around 100 women on a Wednesday and Thursday night. A lot of regulars each night. I will admit, I get there late, 1230-0130 am. But I was highly disappointed Friday and Saturday night. Women selection was more like 4-50 women. For context, people want to be with their families and children Friday and Saturday and you will see that in the streets. So all your food and drinks you pay with your assigned card. There is a swimming pool area, outdoor areas, and rooms for the love making. Girls are not cheap. They are cheaper if you hit it on location. Rooms started at 180 R $ (32 $). I prefer to take them back to my apartment but that cost more and I understand that. I admit I am a pretty boy so I may look like I have money but all started at 2000 R $ (400 $). Some even had this price at 330 AM which makes no sense when both our options are getting limited. I paid 1000 R $ (200 $) which I am fine with as it is in my budget. Some get more some got less. Having been going to Rio I have paid from 150 $-500 $ but the normal was always from 150-250 $. Same with other countries. Colombia Panama. So to smash there, you pay the house for the room selection 1 HR time and then roll out back to the club floor or go home. If you want to do what I did, you go pay the house the girls exit fee 250 R $ (45 $) and before you exit the building you will have to pay your credit card off. They accept credit cards too. Your girl will ask you to pay her tab too just to let you know. Whatever tab they acquired for the night or like my girl, she asked me to pay for her parking but that's fine bc she was our ride to the crib. I suggest you pay by credit card bc if security sees you paying with cash, they will try to get a tip from you as you walk out which management needs to do something about bc that is annoying.
I hit a few other spots. None like Scandello and all were light on numbers. Plenty of beautiful things to select as Casarao but a lot more men than women. While Scandello is like a Larry Flint l Playboy strip club, Casarao is like a local strip club but not ghetto. A lot of other spots were closed due to covid. Clinicas were open but I prefer to build a repour with women as I would in a club rather than select the number girl you want. Pay bang. It has its place in life but not my preference. Bumble and Tinder work well. I actually try to find women and date them as I enjoy the malls and having normal dates with women.
Transportation: Traffic sucks. I used Uber everywhere. Safe. At night use Uber Black or you will be cancelled all night. Subway is safe and 4 R $. A lot faster than walking Av Paulista.
Apartment: I stayed in Jardins away from a lot of action but safe place and close to Av Paulista. I prefer Airbnb's bc hate feeling like a tourist. I cook, workout, I like feeling like I live here and not living out of my luggage.
Overall. I was happy to cross it off my list but it is no Rio. I was telling a girl, how in Rio, you can walk the street and get flirted with or get a number. In SP, it is like NYC, gets cold and everyone has somewhere to be. I think I broke my new maybe 3-4 x walking the strip. In Rio it is all day turning looking at phat ass. I was happy to experience Scandello but if you are new to the travel game, SP is not worth it. There are better places Medellin, Cartagena right now. In the past Panama Rio Costa Rica.
Renaissance Sao Paulo Hotel
Does anyone know if this Marriott will allow me to register a late night garota? I have to burn a free night certificate by year's end and this looks like a good place to use it. After the one night I'll be moving into a cheaper and known girl friendly hotel.
