Is it the same guy who was telling us that we need to give massage parlor women more money running around talking about he is fucking chicks for free now? As much as I would like to agree with PunterWanderer right about now, I can't. I have met plenty of non-pro women in the discos that I have fucked. But somehow I bet that if I or someone else reported that they fucked a chick for free previously, then "some idiot" in the post quoted above would rant on about how he cheated the girl and should have given them money.
At least he could have paid her for cleaning his dirty condo?
While the subject it out there, I'd be curious to know guys opinions on how to differentiate from a freebie and a working girl too shy to asks for money. When I meet girls away from prostitution areas I never pay unless they bring it up in a respectable manner. Club girls and street pick ups in prostitution areas is where it gets tricky for me. In these areas. 95% of the time I pay even when money is not mentioned unless there seems like a real genuine interest in me which is rare. I'd like to flatter myself into thinking girls want to have one night stands with me for my dick but as much as it happens, that's probably never the case. Probably others who fuck me in hopes that I will be a free spender but when I'm not they move on. It's tricky and I haven't got it quite figured out yet.

Also, I'm not running around, I'm sitting, and I'm not reporting about chicks, I am reporting about one lady, one instance.
The reason I made this report is that there are sometimes (on this forum) inquiries about "freebies" but almost never reports.
There are probably a few people who will find it interesting.
a working girl too shy to asks for money.
Even if it isn't discussed in advance, I would think any working girl would ask for money if a guy doesn't volunteer it. If not, she doesn't really meet the definition of "working girl". I've found, in Pattaya at least, that working girl freelancers treat it very much like a job / business. In conversations with them they usually (without shame) refer to "customers", and "go to work tonight", etc. And frequently refer to their job as "sell pussy".
I understand that there are many girls who have a primary job (say office, restaurant, etc.) who supplement that by freelancing, but I would described them as "working girls" as they are selling sex for money. However, a girl who goes out primarily to meet a guy, or have fun, or possibly find a boyfriend is no different than a similar girl anywhere in the world.
Despite what mant punters in the Thailand and PI thread think, a working girl will never be shy to ask for money. Ways to know:
1. Ask her what she does. She will say I go with man for money if she is working.
2. When you ask her to come back to your place, she will say how much you give me?
3. If money isn't brought up you can wait until it is time for her to go home the next day. If she is dressed and just sits on the end of the bed like she is waiting, then she is waiting for you to pay her. Give her 1000 baht and a hug and tell her to be safe.
2. When you ask her to come back to your place, she will say how much you give me?
Many girls won't ask this this, they will just say their price up front.
Has anyone checked out Pattaya Prostate Massage. Seems she moved to Jomtien from Thepprasit Soi8. Meant to go last high season, maybe try this year.

Since I'm lazy, I just report what I wrote previously. It's not very nice to quote oneself, but nothing has changed in the meantime:

For the question freebie / P4P in LOS. I honestly think that beside gogo, massage parlors and beer bars, the 90% of the so called 'freebie' who go with the farangs basically are freelance / semi-pro, so they go for money and making up their incomes. It always the same story, with receptionists, female university students, shop assistants or waitresses. Maybe sometimes you can find the girl a bit more shy, or who doesn't ask you directly the severance tax, but I usually left the due in order to avoid misunderstandings, more take care and to become a sponsor. Sooner or later a sick relative or a family disgrace always happen.
Since BKK is a great megalopolis the freebie may happen more often, but the more touristic is a place, the more P4P you find, such as in Phuket, Koh Samui, not to mention Pattaya, a city built for mongers, where is mathematically impossible the freebie.
About "freebies". Let me add just another case history: the girl who'd rather have two birds in the bush than just one in the hand. In other words, the girl who aims for future sponsorships rather than an immediate severance tax for the service. These girls can be funded by a farang and at the same time sell out themselves with others. Or also be fu***d "freebie". How many people who send money to their sweetheart 10.000 km away!
But I can agree that many times the situations are much more ambiguous compared to what I wrote, and the line between a "freebie" and a girl who makes up her wages it's not so clear. And that's one of the reasons for which I still prefer go-go girls or carry on with the session with some masseuse with whom I feel comfortable. I don't think to throw a monkey wrench onto the works for other mongers, by giving always the cash on delivery to girl the next morning (I mean, I don't think to damage other mongers or f**k the prices up in this way)
Of course, these are just my 2 cents based on my personal experience, I don't want to be argumentative nor deny other experiences of other users, especially if residents (and I'm not one of them, of course).
If you think bt20 is an adequate tip to a thai lady who massages your feet for one hour, I am comfortable with my opinion about your intelligence.
20 Baht tip isn't that bad for Thailand. Thailand does not have a tipping culture (for locals). In the US that tip would be an insult, but this is Thailand.
Thailand just raised the minimum wage to 300 Baht per day. Many Thai businesses are complaining about it.
I'm guessing the massuse would make, assuming 5 customers per day, 5 x (50 + 20) = 350 Baht. For Thailand, it isn't that bad.
This particular girl has a good situation so that made the whole thing very pleasant, she wasn't in the hunt. She is a contract worker in Europe. From what she described, she makes really good money, and her company treats her well too. She's only back in Thailand for about a month while she processes her next work Visa.
Got it. Sort of holiday time so, hence the abundance of free time to spend they way she likes and feels.
Makes sense. Otherwise it'd a bit strange how somebody can live and dispose of so much free time without earning.

No, it is not normal to tip all service workers the way it often happens in the west, but these massage ladies are most definitely reliant on the tips to make any kind of living.
My main massage lady is a single mother with a 10 year-old daughter.
If she earns 350 / day for 30 days that equals bt10, 500. (That's with no days off. Actually, she only works 6 days / week so her monthly earnings would be only about bt9000 at that rate).
She's at the shop 10-12 hours each day. She has almost no free personal time.
Her rent / electric / water are probably at least 5000. Her food (for 2) , petrol, motorbike, clothing, etc. Are probably another 5000.
So, after paying for their basic survival, she is left with basically no money at the end of the month, so NO. 350 / day is not good for Thailand.
If you go back and read the original argument I had with Mr. E, we were specifically talking about the shops where the basic massage cost is only bt100! So already you are getting a 50% discount compared to many of the shops which go for bt200 base price.
Consider this again: a one hour foot massage for US$3. 00. Are you kidding me?
If you can't treat these wonderful ladies better than a bt20 tip, then you can go straight to hell.
So, after paying for their basic survival, she is left with basically no money at the end of the month, so NO. 350 / day is not good for Thailand.
I agree. 350 Baht per day is "not good". I said "it isn't that bad". Many Thais are willing to work for less than that.
Yes, poverty sucks.
That is why there are many Thais working on Beach Road to support their children. It's good to know you don't take advantage of them.
then you can go straight to hell.
You may be right. :(
I like to come and take advantage of the poverty.
I pay between 750 to 2750 Baht for working girls, and 40 Baht tips for non-working girls (40 Baht tip for a 250 massage).
My birthday is coming up, and based on my current plans will be celebrated in Pattaya. Required some input on the bottle service pricing at Insomnia, common things like Vodka and Whiskey. Read on the PA site, that it is cheaper with the I-rewards card. Are we allowed to stow the unfinished bottles for a later outing.
I agree. 350 Baht per day is "not good".
Don't want to enter the tipping war but what's missing here is that massage girls also pull good money from the extra services they provide. Go in for a foot massage and see how long it takes for the oil massage up-sell to begin. These girls make a lot more than 10, 000b per month, some of them are being sponsored but still work in the MP because they want to make more money. Others will strategically use the buffalo story ploy hoping customers will become overly generous and many do. In the end you can keep debate tips till the end of the world, the irony is that some of these girls are better off than many of the customers they service.
