I've just came across this site and I'm pleasantly surprises that there is a such community on the web!!

I have read the threads and would like to thank all which contributed.

I will be arriving in Rio on the 24th Jan for 3 days. Just wandering and thanks in advance for any members on the ground during that time to show a newbie around. There is much info to be gleaned from the reports but since it's my first time in Brazil (only traveled extensively in China / HK / Macau and Thailand), I wouldn't mind an 'old-hand' to show me the ropes. It's more of an apartment set up with kitchen and the place is big. It's called Jucati apartments and I cost is about 75 per night. They only take cash. I have no idea what the visitor situation is but maybe I will find out.

I did strike a conversation with a kid who spoke English and he took me to a private but the girls were pretty banged up so I passed. Does anybody know of a good private in copa area? Also is there any strength of beach that might have local working girls hanging during day?

Search) the Eden Spa near siqueira campos.

For privates, you really need to go to Centro. Just read GPGuia. You're already in Brazil, so accessing it won't be a problem. Google translate even does a barely acceptable job of translation if your Portuguese sucks.

The venues may change over the years, however, the girls are just as wonderful as ever.

I'm mostly in Sao Paulo, and I don't go a day without meeting a new beauty.

Also, the dollar is getting stronger against the Real and predicted to get even better.

Depending on where you want to hunt and what type of venue, girls can still easily be found for 30 R, if that's what you want.

19th and 20th December visit to Monte Carlo 2014.
