I was hanging at this bar, owned by an ex pat, and his wife. Everyone there knows what goes on in, Sosua, and few openly discuss it. Sort of considered poor form, I guess. A couple of guys come in (obviously green horns) , and there chiming on about women. The owners wife stormed off pissed, and she lives there! Nothing pisses women off more (especially educated ones) , than the thought, of another women having to sell herself (little do they know that the money is largely used for consumer discretionary, not staples. IE cell phones, jewelry; etc). Women are more likely to go to university then men (where I'm from anyway) , are holding political positions, and are business leaders. That can change things. I don't believe that will completely eliminate the act, but places like, Sosua? Lookat the change, driven by, the animal rights movement, the last few years? Little bit of emotional thinking, and a lot of money, goes a long way. Remember the pictures, of the dancing bears, on the street, in Asia? I grew up around Dominicans in Spanish Harlem and I live in Washington Heights. I have Dominicans in my family and have been to the DR about 40 times so I've been around Dominicanas all my life; I'm not trippin on a particular look. Been there done that many times over.

However, I like what you are implying about diversity and something different. I can never understand how people limit themselves to one vacation destination. I guess those folks will ride that wave until they are forced to switch up like many mongers in Rio did when Help closed. I like hitting as many places in the world as possible.

I'm using miles so I'm good on the flight cost. What I have heard is that the the quality of service and price value on the ground is better. Mongers I know that have been to both have been telling me about much better quality of service, which is part of the Thai culture. For instance, inexpensive quality massages, soapies, etc. Pretty good food selections. A lot more stuff to do and see in general. I guess you have to come and go through BKK as a jumpoff to other locations. Also a lot of good shopping in BKK?

Don't get me wrong. I love the DR and Latin America in general. It's in my blood, but I've had a lot of good experiences with babes in the USA from Laos, Thailand and the Philippines so I'm excited about expanding my horizons.

Or maybe you don't understand that some people don't want to be in airplane for more than 3 or 4 hours. Or maybe you don't understand that some guys are not turned on by Asians or white blue eyed blondes. Or maybe you don't understand that some guys have learned Spanish and don't want to have to learn Thai or some other language.

For the price of the plane to the east $1500 I can pay for a week in the DR. So far I am loving the DR chicas and learning thai is not going to work. What ever floats your boat. I know there is a variety of asian women. Generally speaking most are small and child like in appearance. Not my cup of tea. I love my DR sisters.

Sosua has always been a fun place. I'll be there in November, as I try to stop through there, Santiago, La Vega, Mao and Puerto Plata at least once a year when I'm on the north coast.

But for the dr these are weak. I know there are all shapes and sizes there. The ladies you show are more the exception then the rule. Like showing ugly dominican women they exist. If the prices were identical I would go to the DR.

Hum. Just got a call from a Chica who said she got arrested by Politur. Then she passes the phone to a man saying she would be released if somebody comes to pick her up, and he promptly hangs up.

I know the chica. Last time I saw her was 1 h ago as she was walking to the Casino and offered me to come play along. Never went to bed with her, she does not know what hotel I am staying at. I do not believe she is the kind that would set me up for blackmail.

As much as I feel awful about abandoning her at the hands of Politur, after all the horror stories I've heard from other chicas, I will stay put. Maybe even go spend the night in Puerto Plata.

Would you do the same?

Since this is bad story week, let me add mine. One time I was walking to Seabreeze and a motochonco guy intercepts me. He says my girl Miss A is in the hospital and she needs me. Its now 3 in the morning and I'm not fucking with anybody over anything. I play dumb gringo and act like I don't know who he is talking about. I'm not hoping on the back of a bike for anything unless its a ride to the hotel. Well I forget about it until my next trip. This girl I had banged at Europa that had the same name as my girl was in the hospital. She wondered why I didn't help her. I said it wasnt my biz. She fucked my boy the day after me in the Europa jacuzzi, so why would I get involved.

BBL told me a crazy story that the owner of a certain hotel told him. There was a fight on the strip. A gringo got beat down and was bleeding. The cops were right there and did nothing. Well this hotel owner played good samaritan and took this guy for treament. After treatment a bill was due and the hotel owner had to pay. He refused because he didn't know the guy. He was thrown into the jail for a day until he paid the 5000p bill.

After 2 trips to the DR last year I moved jobs to Hawaii and Got the chance to hit Thailand with a Wingman I met in the DR. Lets just say been back total of 3 times in 7 months for a total of 2. 5 months vacation in LOS. UNBELIEVABLE.

BUT I do love my DR ladies and yearned to get back. T- 10 days til I return to the land of Bundas.
