I was just brainstorming a way to try to utilize this Facebook thing, since everybody in Colombia seems to be using it. I don't use Facebook a lot, so I felt a little behind the times. But at the same time, I like places like the Mansion the way they are! There is no substitute for a live, controlled environment; the Mansion, FKK, Campo, etc.

But from the recent posts, it sounds like the scammers are already knee-deep into Facebook. And I suppose, the more you flesh it out, the more it just sounds like a Facebook escort site. The problem with most escort websites is that they always have the face pictures blurred out, and the names used are generic, like "Jasmine" or "Tiffany." There is no accountability to any of it. I have never understood how anyone could use a site like that. Just based on a blurred out picture, you are going to meet a stranger in a strange place, carrying a wallet loaded with cash? Suckers.

I'm from US and I paid upfront for 2 days in La Mansion which is their requirement for resservations, by credit card and was charged on my card around $200, would have been $85 if by Paypal so maybe that's where you got $85-90 from. But from their website the room I wanted went for 158,000 pesos which equals around 85 with 25% added fort credit card comes out to $100.
