I have heard good things about Indonesian Cupid as well, but never tried it myself. Already have a lot to handle.

From my personal experience I would say Tinder is enough on it's own.

Are there any good non Indo places to eat around Hotel Classic, Hotel Travel, Malio, or Kota Indah? I'm finding that I have to leave a bar at 9 pm so I can make it to a restaurant to eat by closing at 10 pm.

Quick weekend update.

Kota Indah. New Sari Ayu had 2 ok girls. So the Priok bars cater to seamen, truck drivers and the locals from the communities around the port. They get going about 9 PM and close at 3 AM. The ladies are a selection of too old and too young. Price is 300 000 minimum, 500 000 maximum, you take your lady down the road to the short time hotel which has rooms for 150 000 or 200 000 depending on whether you get a room with or without cockroaches.

Having spent a fair amount of time in seedy Jakarta bars OS's advice is don't be scared. The locals are curious, delighted to host you and far nicer than your instincts will be telling you. The girls will be real curious about that big bule thing you have between your legs and you may just be their first bule. Have a beer or two, ignore the rats and take in that you are sitting in the real thing and suck up that 120 decibel dangdut.

Then at the end of it all you can skulk back to central Jakarta and your 5 star hotel knowing you have just had a real Indonesian bar experience

Arrived back in Jakarta late on a Monday night. I would be flying out to Europe on the following day.
