After that it's completely different. Yes there are some girls who treat it transactional. Most of my experiences gave been the complete opposite. In fact I have like 4 girls who are on my line who I chat too all the time. Who will clear there schedule to see me. I have never had that happen in any other country than Japan.
If you can get into the high end places you will never feel transactional. They will treat you like a king. You'll forget your paying for it.

Homeless Kids, Kabukicho Tower
Jan 2024 I was walking the streets around Kabukicho Tower, trying out my new 8 K camcorder.
About a dozen kids were sprawling on the ground in the empty lot in front of the tower in the freezing cold all night, playing games and socializing, some slouching and sleeping on mattresses and broken office chairs.
In the afternoon a wingman was waiting for me near this group. The girl in light green jacket, carrying a backpack with a teddy bear, hit on him, but he refused to bite.
Next day I walked back in the same area. Weather was freezing cold. A girl dressed only in a skimpy beige dress with Disney Crocs, slinging a hand bag with a toy, was hanging around, talking to a couple older kids in heavy black flannel jackets, running back and forth, dancing, jumping up and down among them. She acted like a child but I was afraid of objections and could not get close enough to see her face clearly. My videos were shaky due to walking and filming to avoid confrontation, but no one raised an eyebrow. However video and still images later showed her about may be 14 to 15. Suddenly 2 middle-aged men, in grey flannel jackets and knap sacks, aggressively moved in unison, approached her in a quick LE move. The 3 black-jacketed kids quickly vanished.
The 2 men checked her hand bag then stayed and talked to her a long time while taking notes, recording and talking into their phones. She was talking to them freely and quietly, did not seem to be defensive, but was not dancing and jumping like before. A group of people gathered around very close to the girl and the 2 men, like they were participating in the conversation. I was there for about 15 minutes filming the scene but had to walk away in case someone got mad at me. They were still standing there talking.
These 2 lean, strong, clean cut men carrying knap sacks did not look like journalists, NGOs or concerned parents counseling this girl, as they would typically bring women to talk. The quick move in unison by these 2 men to the girl, their curt actions, the way they talked to her with authoritywhile taking notes made me suspect they were undercover cops. They did not talk to any other kids in that area. They talked quickly back and forth in Japanese, so they could not be typical Hong Kong mongers with their knapsacks.
I had to move away from the commotion before someone got mad at me. The people around me did not seem to care about my filming.
Hard to find similar in the states.

Ok guys, I'm now on my 2nd visit to Tokyo. I've done the usual circuit in the past, and I have been quite happy with the experience (for the most part).

I was interested to see how this charge would show up on my credit card. A day later, it showed up as Japan tours. Hey so I went to Tokyo, and I have a credit card charge from Japan TOURS. Clever!
I looked for any other dubious credit card charges, but nothing else happened. I also received an email reminder 2 days before the appointment, a third reminder 2 hours before, and an SMS message 1 hour before the appointment!! I guess that why they wanted my email and phone number (well, the email is needed to find out where to meet). I felt at ease at that point!
I showed up on the day and time of the appointment to the hotel. In the lobby was a tall, toned chick. A friggin' bombshell. I was hard already. I could barely contain my excitement. She greeted me, and had a huge smile. Spoke English better than me actually! She told me that I had to book the room. So that cost me around 7,400 Yen extra, but the email instructions said that already, so I was expecting it. I chose the room, paid at the counter (they accept cash and credit card. But I preferred to pay cash at that point). We then went to the room.
Room was super nice. Very clean, and spacious. Marina dimmed the lights, set up the AC to a comfortable setting, and sat me down for a while. We spoke for about 15 minutes.
