It leaves me wondering if the owners are planning to re-open in a new location or are they officially throwing in the towel and calling it a day. In may of this year, on a previous trip to SP, I noticed the overhead "casaro" sign was still present. In July, I took another peek as I took an afternoon stroll down rua augusta and the sign had been removed. I hope I'm wrong, but the fact that it's gone now could be bad news for the future of this former SP institution.
