Well Migrant One Thanks for the advice and it did pay off. Honduras isnt really a place where you really have to pay for sex (but you do have to speak Spanish which I don't). Went to the club called Light and had a big breasted girl hit on me and of course I took her back to the hotel. I was to hung over to mine anything out of the (overcrowded) mall but will try again some other time.

BTW the Marriot is guest friendly.

I was in Tegus a few weeks back, I had a chick I met on my last trip to La Ceiba (Lil Sis) meet me there. The plan was for her to spend the week with me but she got on my nerves after a few days so I sent her home. She was trying to break the bank. I met another woman who I spent the rest of my time there with.

I don't like Tegus it's very dirty and dangerous. Most of the locals I met there felt it was dangerous. I don't really want to go back, however the woman I met got me open. She has a good job, a visa, and comes from a well known family. I lucked up meeting her. She supposed to be coming here to visit me soon.

I stayed at the Intercontinental....over rated.

I'll be in Tegus this week, it is a business trip for a couple of days. Is there something interesting in here? , please advice

the massage places are still in business. interestingly the ads in the paper have somewhat changed. now all the ads in the paper say something like this ¨centro anti estres con terapeuta¨, which means anti stress center with (female) therapist. all the ads say the exact same thing, and there are no more pictures of sexy girls in bikini in the ad. so probably they put some type of new restriction on the type of ads. anyways, the massage places are still in business. about 200 to 300 lempiras gets you the massage, for the extras you have to negotiate the price with the girls. the girls seem to be pretty desperate because all of them offered me bj´s without me even asking for it. one of them didn´t have any condoms, and i hadn´t brought one either, and she was insisting that we have a bbbj saying that the girls get tested regularly. for the extras i think you are gonna have to pay something between another 300 to 500 lempiras depending on how much you want to negotiate and how pleasant the girl is. sandra´s and garmen are still in business, but the place about one block north of garmen has shut down.
one of the posters, few posts before this one, had said that teguc is a dirty down. i will have to agree with that. the city gets more congested every time that i visit. the small streets just can´t handle the number of cars here. it gets very hot and dusty here. if you live on one of the hills surrounding the town, it´s a lot cooler, but the city itself is a mess. i remember a few years ago, there was a poster here who said he had just moved to teguc, i wonder what he thinks about it now, he hasn´t posted anything in a long time. the other problem now is that there are more and more kidnappings here, it´s not colombia yet and they are leaving the tourists mostly alone, but the kidnappings are getting more frequent.
finding pussy here remains quite easy, but i would no longer recommend it as a place for retirement. tear it up. j.g.

How's the action near the intercontinental, I was there about 3 years ago. I did not find anything in the area. I did go to the mall. right in front of the hotel but nothing.

Has anything changed. I read in the board, there are lots of chicas available but is there anything within walking distance to the Inter.

There was a lot of willing company at the mall, often TGI Fridays. But most are not pay for play so it takes time.

By now most of you have heard about the Taca flight overshooting the runway. All traffic has been routed to San Pedro Sula, with bus service to teguc. A real mess here, and yesterday I heard the US airlines are cutting way back on flights just to fill seats and save a little fuel cost.

I would most certainly suggest carry-on only if possible because there just are not enough buses to take everyone's luggage....

Actually it is still working for little planes (ATR) as those flying from/to Guatemala and operated by TACA.

My boy who is a stationed in Comayagua informed me that an American contractor was murdered in Comayagua about three weeks ago. All soliders have been confined to the base since then.

Lil Sister (see my previous post) advised me that an American was also killed in Tegucigalpa. My boy was unaware of this. It appears there is strong anti-North American sentiment right now. There have been protest in front of the base in Comayagua.

Just a heads up to anyone planning a trip. I decided to cancel my trip in Noviembre due to this information as well as, the tanking economy here in the states.

If anyone has any accurate information (Generous Gent) regarding these killings please post it.

I just posted in general info area....I wouldn't cancel a trip because of what is going on here as it really doesn't amount to much anyhow. The tanking economy however, is a very good reason. The people here love and want Americans. It is a way of life from them. Chavez made offers of cream and honey to el presidente, and his pockets are wide open. In future years, the debt to Venezuela is going to be incredible, and this country will be in deep doo-doo. The people are aware of this, and want no part of it. Without the support of the USA, this place would turn into another Cuba and trust me...they do not want that.

The killing was thought to be accidental, if that's the correct word. He was in the wrong area at the wrong time. Victim of an on-going fued between families there and that he was perhaps mistaken as a member of the rival family. Truck with dark tinted windows. Who could tell?

And this is what makes buying a vehicle from someone here dangerous; when the shooting starts, it is the vehicle they are looking at, not its occupants. A lot of innocent shootings and you don't know who you really are buying from anyhow; drug dealer, someone who pissed someone off, or an ongoing feud. Life is extremely cheap here in Honduras.

Haven't been to Tegu since I made short trips in 2004 and 2006. Given the dearth of info on this site, I usually just made the trip to the club across the street from the airport, tolerated the obnoxious, oily, guy-with-tie, picked someone out and took her to the hotel. The first time was fine, I negotiated a price for 90 minutes and got in two pops with sweet 8. The second time, I made the mistake of paying for a TLN without doing enough negotiation.She wanted to drink beer and watch "Passion of the Christ" - definitely not my idea of foreplay - and seemed to magically send ten pounds from her busom to her butt just by taking off her clothes. Lotsa rules, and her idea of TLN seemed to end a 3am.

So, I am asking the board for advice. I noticed a lack of photos or reports. Does anyone have any current info?
