A friend of mine who is a Khasi from Shillong, once told me that there's a hotel there from where you get good view of the lake, is basically a den for WG's. Guwahati Diaries – Some experiences.

Had gone to a bar in last gate area of Guwahati wih its name starting with Chandi or Rup (translate to English). This bar had a reputation of having reasonable rates for drinks and where the tips for girls is also on the lower side. Went there with a friend who was familiar with the place.
