but i'm faced with the same question as polvo, as does anyone who is not flying in from on close, and wants to get one in after arriving very late at night. sunday night is obviously the worst. so it appears be:

1. tr (fortunately, i've done ldv in cartagena muchas veces, and did very well there, without paying high prices...well, ok, once!)
2. suites at barranco

After seeing the photos and hearing the prices that some guys have posted about a location you recently visited, I imagine you will be pleasantly surprised at the quality you can get for the price at Tequila.

One of the sexiest women I have seen in Lima is in Tequila regularly, and even if I have developed a reputation as being a cheapskate monger I won't hesitate to pay what it takes to enjoy her company one night before I leave town.

The point everyone is trying to make about Tequila is that Lima is such a target-rich environment and so full of opportunity that it really should only be a last-resort destination. Compared to the price for most of these opportunities Tequila is relatively expensive.

Of course, if you have game you might even pull a girl for free from Tequila, only to have her get pissed when the receptionist at your hotel asks for her ID, and then she will sit on the sofa in the lobby and look at you with sad, puppy dog eyes and try to make you feel bad, and then say something along the lines of "No, it's okay, you need to put on your pajamas and go to sleep."

Somehow I don't think that's what you're looking for, but don't worry, Tequila is fine.

Easy enough, Tequila La Marina in Pueblo Libre/San Miguel. Packed with hoes and sluts, every Sunday. My Dutch buddy wasn't dissapointed on his first Sunday there. In fact it was one of the best nights of the past week. Good music, cheap booze, willing girls. A little rough around the edges though, but at least they don't have that much fights inside anymore as they used to.

I have been a lurker here quite a bit and rarely feel need to post but this Tequila debate has been going on for so long its getting silly. I have hung out in there long enough to see that its not as black and white as some suggest. I have met and started a relationship with a girl I met there on two occaisions and I have taken pro's and semi-pro's out and paid anywhere from $15 to $50. Last August I met a sweet 19 yr old girl there, spent the night and in the morning she just wanted taxi fare home.

I think the trick is to just talk to the girls like people and not go in desparate like a prick looking for a place to stick. Even the hardest pro's (albeit they're not my type) like to chat once in a while and if they like you, you can get a deal and a great time. I had the same experience in Costa Rica at the Blue Marlin bar and actually 'dated' a pro from there over a period of 3 months or so. She told me that I got it free because I treated her with respect. I drop into TR in Miraflores everytime I'm in Lima, I like the scenery, the music, enjoy the drinks and who knows, more often than not some fun can be had.

Peru (and Lima specifically) is, I believe, way underrated.

I lived in Colombia for 4 years so I know what a geaorgious girl looks and tastes like. Yes, there are less stunners here in Lima, but then how many do you need in your bed tonight? Less stunners, tougher reputation on Peru, also means less competition, and the girls attitude is just out of this world.

Do not come to Lima for P4P. This is not the place, and frankly it sucks. On the other hand, for non-pros, I never saw women as slutty as Lima. You do not need to spend on them, they lie, they cheat, etc... They are just like men but with a set of boobs and else.

As far as the rest of the city is concerned, I am also impressed. Lima is truly an international city for its restaurants, order, accomodation, etc... The cost of living is low even in Miraflores.

So far so good. Lima seems to be a keeper...

While there are Mormons here, there are loads of Baptist's,Seventh day Adventist's, Hari Krishna's as well as my personal favorites "The Dreaded Opus Dei". On the flip side there are many more Shaman's, White Witches, Moon Worshipper's and other Pagan flavors to keep Peru decidedly to the "left" of the Religious/Spiritual/Mystical spectrum!

I used to attend the "full moon" parties (with a couple of Danish Chic's) that are very popular here in Lima and at the beaches south of here. I find the "Pagan" rituals to have more interesting people and can be alot of fun, especially if you want to relive the "Altered States" so popular in the late 60's early 70's in the States.

Completed my second trip to Lima a few weeks ago and as always second trip was much better than the first. I spent some time with my civilain novia who I met at end of first trip and that realtionship developed nicely over the week. It worked out well that she had to work most days except for a couple of days off so I had lots of time free to explore. I visited about 15 or 20 places and rather than daily reports will review some I liked.

Teqilla Rocks: Most popular pickup bar in Lima and had a couple of good finds there for about $50 each.

Club Scarletts:This is a great strip club reasonable a yet classy. Really good show on Friday and Saturday nights in big showroom. Half hour sessions with girls just over $25 and little higher on weekends.It is one of the best stip clubs I have found in Latin America and good reason it is most popular among locals. Only drawback is it is located in Las Olivos kind of unhandy to Miraflores.

Relax and Vida 1 and 3:This is my favorite place in Lima even though full serivce is not on the menu service is so good that a session is quite a treat. No 3 has better facilites with sauna and jacuzi all in the room so you never have to leave. Total price including tip is about $40. Both locations are in Santa Catalina not very ar apart.

Sauna La Marina: I did not session here but used the sauna facilites and checked it out. The place is very nice and talent is quite good. I just had time restaints and did not have time or the energy for a session. Reports are that prices here are better than most of the high end saunas and it is a very nice place. I will definitley give it a go as I will be staying up the street in San Miguel where it is located next trip.

Little place right next to Sauna La Marina:I discovered this place looking for La Marina and had a couple of sessions here. I believe it was 40 sol. per half hour. Only had a couple of girls each time but always one cute girl. Service was good and a nice value.


Trocadero: Of course the biggest brothel in Lima and covered before here. I only made it once due to unhandy location. Located way out in Callo not too far from airport. I arrived about 3:30 and not much talent yet but they were coming in fast and by 5 PM there were some lookers. Had a couple of sessions at 20 sol each and only have to pay the 13. sol admission one time.

San Jose: I really like this place and it is truly seedy not to mention in a very seedy nieghborhood. It is not a vey safe place if you are not used to these type areas in Latin America. Opens at 6:30 AM so morning is best before the girs have done 20 outher guys. I arrived about 8 one morning and seemed to be prime time. The good girls were there but not very busy yet. I had several session here with about three that were quite good. I saw one girl there who was a solid 8 and looked good enough to work any high end strip club in Lima. It is not for light hearted. The price is right at about 16 sol or $5 for 15 to 20 min. Some do anal for about 20 sol. total. San Jose is located in La Victoria in the center of a huge market and you have to walk into the area a definite cultural experience.

Night Cubs in Lima Centro:There are a buch of these places in a couple of areas of Lima Centro and they make for a fun sleezy night out. Made a coulple of visits this trip and one my first trip. Most have a 1 sol entry and strip show at most. One of the nicer is Saffari but high pressure on drinks for girls the drinks are cheap at 5 sol for large cerveza in most and some have drinks for grils at 10 sol. Most offer private dances but no real rooms on site but you may be able to fine girls out. Talent is very mixed but some daimonds can be found in the rough. Some outhers I visited were Palmeras,Flamingo Oasis and Vardero. Prices for private dances seem to run 30 to 50 sol depnding on place.

Las Cucardas: Anouther brothel, higher end than Trocadero but not as good a value since they raised prices recently. Ticket for room is 20 sol. and sessions are 35 sol. days and 50 sol. night. They have some nice talent there better at night with usulally one or two lookers but I thought talent was off a bit since my first trip. They also have a strip show off and on at night. Open til 1 AM Sun. to Wed. and 3 AM Thurs. to Sat.

Anaconda: This is place frequented by very few gringos. Basicly a brothel/bar with rooms next door in Las Olivos just off expressway in a warehouse industrial area.I got a sweet smile opout of the bartender who was hot and apparently hadn't seen to many gringos there and got my super cold grande cerveza for 5 sol. I didn't partake only because I had been totally drained by the novia an hour or two earlier. More a recon mission but a place worth going back to. There was some dent talent there. I understand serivice is 30 sol plus room maybe 15 but forget exact amount.

I sent the last couple of days in San Miguel and plan to stay there next trip. I really like the area and kind of away from the tourist scene in Miraflores that is fun at first but I would like to experice more of the real Lima scene. alos seem to be lots of bars and discos to explore in the area and anouther Tequillas right across for hotel where I stayed being Santa Maria. Things with the novia really got hot the last few days and in a way that makes the pay for play kind of secondary compared to the real grilfreind thing developing over some time. I will definitley be back in Lima as soon as I can and plan to expore some new territory as well as spent more time with the novia

Mr. Jetsetter. Prices for half hour sessions at Scarletts were all inclusive full service including the room. Rooms are nice with showers in rooms. This is for the nondancers working the club but there is lots of nice talent among these girls. I understand dancers are avialable for sessions on request but they don't work the club and they are somewhat more expensive like maybe $100.
As I recall prices were 76 sol. on week nights and 82 sol. on weekends. People who know mre know I am a Costa Rica regular and this place leaves anywhere in San Jose far in the distance.rbc100
