There were couple of very well-dressed PRC hookers.

At 10pm, the Ask was 1,000 LT. I would've Bid 300 for ST, but was too damn tired. A good night's sleep is worth a whole lot more :)

Feeling too lazy to chat a non-P4P girl up, I left and checked a few other places instead. Went back to Palomas at 2am hoping to find a WG or a tipsy freebie, but it was closed.

I went downstairs to Paloma for dinner at 10pm tonight (Thursday) and the place was already crowded full of civilians. Back to my room to do some work. Nearly 1am now, so I'll go check it again.

Later that night...

1:30am. After one drink in Palomas, I'm back in my hotel room for a much-needed sleep. No WGs in Palomas tonight. There were 20 men for every woman. Many ugly women (including oldies) were being treated like goddesses by the guys. Beggars can't be choosers. After only four nights without a woman, even I started to be tempted by fuglies. Thank god I'm back in Dubai tomorrow.

I'm starting to get afraid to open your reports Piper. I'll be moving here in August so it's sad to see that the pro scene is just as bad as when I visited 3 years ago. At least as a resident I'll have plenty of time to work the online and regular girl angle. For anything more than that Dubai and Bahrain are pretty close.

There is some pro action around if you want it. Once you're living here that'll be easy too.

PS - Dubai isn't that close - it took nearly 8 hours today from the hotel door to my door, with endless queues and only a 55 minute flight! I hate airports.

BTW - Friendster girls turned out to be a bad strategy for a short trip. I narrowed them down to the one most likely to meet me, but she backed out at the last minute. For guys living in Doha, there are hundreds of Filipina girls who want a regular boyfriend.

In the Army heading to Qatar for R & R from Iraq at the end of September, I've read the board and seems like there is little action in Qatar.

Anyway, I'm looking for a fellow monger to be a sponsor for me so I can go out on the town and hopefully find some action, some much needed action.

Reading the last few reports I didn't have high hopes but thought I'd check out the action anyway. On checking with a local taxi driver it seems the Ramada is still WG free so off I trooped to Palomas. Not a WG in site and quite possibly the worst band in the Middle East assualing my ears. When they stopped I resorted to watching Crystal Palace v Watford (yes, it was that bad) Watford were well worth their 1. 0 lead at half time though but then the band started again so decided to head off.

Its a shame really as I like Doha and last year thought it had the potential to become a good version of Dubai if they could have got some more WG's to smooth the supply and demand curve but seems the morality police have won the day. I'm sure there are plenty of Filipina's around for GF material as Piper suggest but for a flying business trip not really worth the effort.

It seems they have now cleared out Oman and Qatar leaving Bahrain (very thin pickings IMHO) and, of course, Dubai. God forbid if they ever decide to clean up Dubai, then where will we go?

I'm back in Doha for a few days in a couple of weeks. Not looking good there. Any updates? Have the morality police really been that efficient?

I will be based out of Doha from Decmber and hopefully I am able to land up with something useful. I am moving from a South east asian zone and I find reports in this forum distressing but gather my self conviction that however strong the Moral police could be, world's oldest profession would definitely exist in some form.

Well, no replies yet, so things must be bad. I did hatch a plan to bring a girl with me from Dubai, but now it turns out I'll be busy with work or being entertained by clients almost all the time I'm there, with maybe one night free, so I canned the plan. Hope I don't have to resort to friendster again - too time-consuming wih no guarantees!

I'll try to arrive a day early so I can try some mall-hunting. Any suggestions on the best place to do this? eg City Centre or V Mall? I also heard that an evening stroll on the Corniche may be worth a try for picking up, but I'm not sure if this means for regular, semi or pro girls. (The pick-up lines have to be adjusted accordingly. ;)) Any insights from resident ISG members?

BTW can someone enlighten me on the costs involved for the following:

1. How much does it cost(airfare) from Doha to dubai on a weekend

2. How difficult is the Visa process to Dubai when ur a resident of Qatar

3. Is it possible to fetch gals from Dubai instead

2. Depends on nationality, not residency. Google "Qatar visa" for info.

3. I checked this out last week as an option. Very difficult to bring Chinese, African or CIS girls (the main selection of WGs in Dubai).
