Hi all,

Doing a week and a half in AC right now and have a bit of a quiet night so I thought I'd tell you about my first couple of days.

The first time I came here was waaaay back in 2004, so after a decade the changes have become very dramatic. But at the same time, a lot of the changes are just cosmetic without changing the substance.

The road construction on fields is a bit of a drag right now, but it shows how the money is being spent to "clean up" the area. The vendors even have vests that say what they're selling. Who woulda think that.

In the bars, the girl's have tags with their names on them. As far as I can tell, they are even their real names. Gone are the days of just numbers. And there's more modest dress. It used to be you'd walk into a bar and 100 girls would be on stage all with their tits hanging out. Now, they're all in bikini's or something even more understated. It's almost as if some law maker thinks we should be treating the girls more like 'humans'.

The price inflation is outrageous. 1500 pesos used to get you long time. Now, a lot of the bars on fields charge 3000 for their green tag girls. And I'm a bit picky, so I hardly even look at the lower priced girls.

But what's worse are the drink prices. 125 pesos for a SML? 300 for a lady drink? I make sure to always order a single now, so it's not so much damage. You might think it's not much, less than 8 dollars. But when you monger the way I used to, it really can add up. No more walking in and ordering 2 lady drinks for the waitress and the mamasan and then 4 or more for the dancers you bring to the table. Unless you like buying 8 dollar gatorades.

The hotel situation has improved greatly. I'm staying at the Pacific Breeze because it's familiar and a decent value, although not the cheapest by any stretch. But the staff is pretty friendly and I'm making good use of the pool and the gym, so I feel like I'm getting my money's worth for the location.

My last trip to AC, I stayed at the Lewis Grand, which was nice to splurge on, but was too far away from the action for my tastes. The new hotel Penthouse is doing a soft open. Not sure what their prices will be, but if it turns into a Lewis grand replacement right on fields, it might be the place to go. Devara has a good location and looks good for the price, I might try them out a couple days. There are also some swankier new places down the road south of fields.

The other really big change is all the Korean writing you'll see. My first trip, there were only a handful of restaurants with hangul, now it's everywhere. It's good for me, coming from seoul. Which leads me to my first barfine description.

I came in late on the direct flight from seoul which lands at midnight, so I was pretty late in the night by the time I got checked in and walking around. I ended up with the door girl from seastar for 2500. She had a stunning face and turned out later that she had a pretty awesome bod. Not the largest boobs in the world, but a solid handful. But the best part was that she spoke quite a bit of korean and took me to paradise club which is a Korean style KTV or norebang that will serve you food while you sing. The rate was 200 pesos per hour, probably higher than some other places off walking street. But we pounded soju and kimchee chigae, and she drained me a few times. All in all, an awesome way to start my trip. I'll probably have to get her a couple more times before I leave.

I was a bit more drunk on my second night and can't remember where I pulled the second girl from, but she was about 4'7" of stacked hiphop style bod. She had the biggest natural tits I'd ever seen on such a petite girl. All I remember was she was dancing on a bar full of 50 or so girls and was wearing this tight little lycra shirt that said "crew" on the back. She was good for a couple loads, even though she said upfront that she only wanted short time. I think I picked her up around 11pm and we negotiated she would stay till 3am. But she was a bit clever, ordering the most expensive thing from room service, and when she woke me up to tell me it was 3am, it was really only 2am. But whatever, I banged her quickly and let her go.

The third night started out slow, but I ended up with the smallest piece of finery I'd every seen in AC. Girl was about 4'2" and looked like she might be 12-15 years old, even though she was really 22 and had a child. But her tummy didn't show it at all, and her skin was tone. But she had a really classy look to her, and carried herself with a kind of regal air. She was real affectionate and I didn't want to see her go. I think I was her first barfine, since she'd only been working 4 days. I bought her a swimsuit for 350 and we spent most of the morning in the pool. I'll probably see her again before the trip is over.

But tonight was a bit of a downer. I went to Club Asia, and they had a good selection, but I quickly barfined a tall drink of water with a perfect body and had a face kind of like a thai girl. It was only her 5th day working, and she seemed really shy. But against my better instincts, I shelled out 3000 and took her out of there. I had her back in the hotel by 9pm, and gently showed her the ways of the monger. She wasn't a cherry girl, but she might as well have been. She was tight to begin with, but her shyness and whatever, made her clench even more. She wanted to run, saying that no one told her it was longtime, so she had to go back to the bar. What fucking BS. Be warned, I don't know if it's Club Asia, or just this girl in particular, but that's bullshit, to pay an extra 1000 for a girl, and then get crappy service.

Anyway, I convinced her to stay for a second load, although I wasn't as gentle the second time since I was pissed off that she was trying to pull a runner. Then I let her go. Who needs all that crying and whining and reluctance. So now I've got time to make this post.

In terms of other bars that look interesting, Dollhouse and Atlantis have a ton of girls, but they might be run by the same people as Club Asia, so be wary. Pony tails seems to be the best mix of low priced drinks and best looking women. Most of the other perimiter bars are not my taste in women at all. They might have one girl worth taking, but they go quickly. I'll probably be spending my afternoon hunting over their and next Wednesday too when they have happy hour all night.

just wanted to alert you all of increased number of scams against foreigners by freelancer street girls. the reasons for this increase are following.

1. there was a recent sweep of street girls by the police and part of the condition to get out of jail early without paying fine was to team up with police to scam the foreigners.

2. hurricane yolanda has done a lot of damage in the areas where these girls came from and they want a lot of money very quickly.

3. because of increased awareness of these scams, foreigners are not picking up the street girls like before, as a result there is less demand for the street girls and hence girls have to look at other ways to make the money.

the scams are same as before and include **** scam where the girl claim that she was under 18, abuse scam where the girl claim that she was hit by the foreigner and drug scam where the girl will implant a drug in your room or in your clothes. 90% of the girls that stand in front of street corners starting from kokomos restaurant all the way to 7-11 in front of the checkpoint jeepney station and it includes the girls in front of phillies, manson drugs and margarita station. following is a partial list of girls names that are confirmed to work with police according to my very reliable source.

Good trip report Blueseoul. I am looking forward to reading about your further adventures. Don't let that Club Asia girl sour you. It is not a good bar. You are not the only punter to be short changed by Club Asia girls in one way or another. The only runner I ever had came from Club Asia. In the bar all was good. The girl was very affectionate and playful. After I took her out of the bar we went over to Atlantis and Ponytails for a few drinks on the way back to my hotel. I thought everything was good, but it was on the way back to my hotel that my girl received her 1st phone call from a girlfriend purportedly asking where she was. I didn't think anything of it at the time. I had never been short changed before and I was looking forward to another good fun night with this little darling. In my room, the 1st round was OK and unrushed. The shag was nothing to write home about, but then again there was really nothing to complain about either. We engaged in the usual soapy shower, DFK, BBBJ, and multiple position bareback sex. Then as we were relaxing and watching some TV, she started getting more phone calls from her girlfriend. After the 4th call or so I began to get irritated by the intrusion and I got on the phone and told the girl friend to stop calling. But 20 minutes later, after the 5th call, my girl asked if she could leave and join her girl friend. I was pissed off by then and told her sure, if you want to go, then go. Its that simple. Most of the time I pay them to leave. So f*ck her. She lost a generous tip, a night in a clean bed, air conditioned room, breakfast, and a chance of seeing me again. In the end it was kind of funny as she left my hotel room with a phony guilty look on her face and her tail between her legs. I was glad I did not spend the night with her. Still, I was out some pesos. The most she was worth was 1500p for the one ok shag, but not even that because she riled me and pissed me off for a good half hour until I let it go and moved on.

Since that night nearly three years ago I have yet to have another runner. Either I am very lucky or I screen my girls well. But, I have heard from other respected punters that they were played in much the same way I was at Club Asia. So I won't go to this bar again, ever. They do have some attractive girls, but they don't deserve my business. Personally, I don't think the problem is not just one or two or three rogue girls. I think the problem is systemic to that bar. There are too many complaints for it to be anything else. I strongly believe the Club Asia mama is aware of the problem girls and does nothing to correct the situation. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. I know of other bars where the mamas actively manage their girls and see to it this kind of bull crap never occurs. I prefer to spend my money and my time in the good time bars and there are many in AC and Subic. To hell with the bad bars.

Dollhouse, Atlantis, Club Asia, Ponytails and I think Crystal Palace are owned by the same group. As well set out as they are, I tended to find the structure a little impersonal and overwhelming (maybe I'm just soft). And this group of vats seems to do the two different price structure thing where They nominally have 2000 peso girls but there's not many and most are below average, thereby compelling you to go for a 3k girl.

Just left The Philippines after 15 nights, four in AC, went to Subic for four nights and returned to AC for seven nights. My last trip was this past June and I did not see a big change, but several small changes.

Walking street (Fields) from Kokomos to McDonalds is closed for construction. They are putting rounds cement circles in the road, surrounded by small bricks, trying to make it a true walking street. But being the PI, it is totally fucked if you are trying to walk down Fields beyond Viking. Very hard to get thru the area.

My first four nights in AC I did not see a lot of beggars, ladyboys or Vigra salesmen, but when I returned from Subic. They were like ants.

This trip was even better then my June trip as I had planned to meet up with many friends from PI, US, Iraq, Korea and Afghanstain. While in Subic with a friend at Wiskey Dicks a Marine came in on his first visit to Subic since 1981. After bar hopping with him for three nights, I talked him into his first trip to AC. I don't know if you can remember your first AC trip (I barely can. 1987) but it sure was fun seeing AC thru his eyes.

With friends we hit a lot of bars and at different times and repeated, so my report in no particular order.

Lost In Asia: Duke and Greg always great hosts and the trivia night was a lot of fun. Lineup was very nice and girls love to play.

Roadies: Korean. And when I walked in, I felt a little out of place, but when the momma recognized me, things got better and the girls were friendly. Nice line up, but in an hour's time 12 to 15 Koreans came and went and I felt zero love, lots of stares.

LaBamba: seems to never change. Fun fun fun. A few old girls (as been dancing for years) and a few new girls added in. We went in every night (that we could get a seat, most of the time we had to return, as the bar was full) and never had a bad time.

Rhapsody: same as always, hit or miss. Line up was average, but I did take one for bible study my first night and she was my cryer for this trip (I love you Robb). Too much drama.

Voodoo: only visited once as I do not like the layout of the bar. If there are a few people around the big tables, there is no room to get thru and seems like always getting hit from behind.

OEW: visited a few times, missed that old OEW feel (pre-TI expansion)

Champagne: seems like this bar never changes. Nice lineup, but too much DLD pressure.

Muse (old LaPasha) : they should of named the bar "missing", as there was hardly any dancers and what they had dancing, had seen better days.

Q-Bar: I like this bar, but again seating sucks. We were there on Manic Monday and someone brought the OEW dancers in and they put on a show. Wow. Lineup is semi-good, a few lookers, but a lot of fillers.

Club Texas: fun bar where the girls are always dancing, not standing or doing AC shuffle. Lineup is good, few lookers, but lots of fillers.

Viking Bar: another bar with poor layout. We had some fun in here, but if you do not get a good seat, you are out of luck. Lineup was good.

Hollywood: one of my favorite bars this trip, as the Korean owner is nice (wants my money) and he does not mind a party. Lineup is very average, but good bar to have some fun.

Color Bar: needs to close. Girls sitting around and texting / smoking on stage.

Brown Sugar: bar has seen better days. Not many girls or customers, but they did have a guy in a tut-tut dancing around like a fairy, so we left.

Bunny Ranch: walked in and looked around, dead, turned around and left.

Roadhouse: good bar, lots of good looking girls and lots of fun.

Angelwitch: we went in a few times and most visits were okay. Lineup was not impressive, but normally the girls like to have fun.

Butterfly Rock: went in to meet the manager since he was posting on another site and had a good time. We went back four or five times and had fun. He is working on the lineup, but overall good environment.

Bar Hopping: bar has seen better days, but the girls were friendly and liked to play. Lineup was okay.

Pussycat Dolls: always get great service and loads of fun here. Lineup was good and the Bloody Mary's are awesome.

Owl's Nest: there were seven of us out bar hopping when we went in, so easy to get seated. First, no more old dog smell. Second few hotties on stage, but only two customers. We spent about 30 minutes and had some fun.

Nenesis (old Genesis) : bar has lost it edge. Before the stage was full of dancers and you had to wait for them to rotate around, not now. Not a lot of girls, but lots of attitude.

Old Fanasty (can't remember new name) : the door between the clubs is blocked, so you have to walk around. Went in and it felt like a funeral home. A few lookers, a few stage fillers.

Tight Jeans: went in once, turned around and left. Lineup was not good and bar seemed dead.

Monsoon (old Typhoon) : not a lot of hotties, but lots of stage fillers. Had some fun, but not like a few years ago.

Bodyshop: nice lineup but attitude is not the best.

Tropixs: bar is like always. DEAD. One of my least favorite bars. You are no where near the girls and every table filled with DLDs.

Valhalla: nice little bar, few cuties and few fillers.

Geckos: another bar that has lost its feel. A few years ago it was party central, but now more like quite time. A few hotties and nice to get afternoon bible study in.

Candy Bar: never changes, great place to meet up with friends and enjoy AC for what it is. Good lineup and lots of fun.

Night Moves: nice bar, but seating was not thought about during construction. Most table are built for two and when you are bar hopping with a few guys, it is hard to get seated. Nice lineup and easy to spend a few hours having fun.

Insomnia: Spent a couple of hours during "Country Night". Really enjoyed and had a lot of fun. Thanks for offering country music. Nice line up!

D'Club: went in a few times and good line up and fun girls.

Det5: I went in on my first four days and it was not even close to being anything worth while, but went back my last day. Wow. What a change. Ended up drinking too many beers and having a lot of fun. I made the mistake of taking the Tiger out for bar hopping and I only lasted two bars and she had to go. When she is sober, she is really sweet to talk too, but damm, after a few straight rum and vodkas she was out of control. Thanks to the bar manager (should remain nameless) for taking her off my hands. She did not have any panties on, (I found out later) was on her mems and dripping blood on the dance floor. Told me no one will take her serious. Haha. I asked her if she took herself serious, still waiting for an answer.

Shooters: a few party girls and a few fillers. Had some fun and the cherry boy found his future ex-wife. She loved him so much, on our last night she had tears, but she had to ask what his name was. Hahaha.

Fire (old T&A) : we headed down there after LIA trivia night. What a bar, not a lot of girls, but the girls are nice.

Ice: packed bar with guys drinking, but no girls with them. Lineup has seen better days.

Green Bottle Bar: I always wondered where dancers go to finish their careers. Found it.

New Generation: Korean. Wow! We walked in and there were 7 dancers. Three sitting on end of stage, two practicing dance moves off the stage by the cashier and two kicked back in a booth. We ordered a drink and started laughing, as they never moved. After five minutes a Korean walked in and took a seat, damm I have never seem girls get on stage so fast. I yelled out, oh I get it, you only want Korean. The Korean gave me a dirty look and I yelled the truth hurts?

I always knew bar hopping with friends make trips fun, but this trip seemed to be better. I bar hopped with 16 different friends, some I have know for years and a few I met on this trip.

I had zero issues finding bible study partners, zero runners and a great time.

If anyone is wondering if they should make a trip, don't delay. It is not the AC from years ago, but it is still more fun in the Philippines.

Funniest highlight of trip: Cherry boy walking into a bar at 2 am, smacking the stage and yelling "Who wants to fluck" and the stage filler said "me" and he said get dressed. :laugh: He said she was so happy that she ate two plates of food and did not want to leave his room.

Saddest moment of trip: Realizing last girl was a "squinter" and only had time for one round :mad:

Scariest trip moment: Riding down to Fields in pickup truck with a buddy and trying to turn by Philly's and 10+ ladyboys lined up. Rolling down window and yelling "First five who jumps in pickup bed gets to go" :bag: :yikes:

The only thing you have to worry about in AC or Subic is whether you want to barfine the great little gal you had last night or butterfly and find a different girl tonight. Yeah stay away from SW's. There is a good reason why they are not working in the bars in a town like AC. But truth told, there are not that many around. I don't know who told you there are. When I am in town I walk back and forth from the Lewis to Walking street all the time and nobody ever bothers me. It is no big deal. Ignore them. Of course if you go looking for trouble, then you will probably find what you are looking for.

I traveled around Burma a few years back. I liked Mandalay, Bagan and Yangon. Absolutely no action in Mandalay or Bagan. Just temples. Yangon had some interesting places to find girls, but they were not even close to the quality you find in AC bars nor provided the ease of access. Punting there always presented little problems that needed to be overcome. I do not consider Yangon a primary sex destination. You just can't compare Yangon nightlife to AC, Subic, Makati or even Cebu nightlife and Burmese girls are not near as friendly or as sexually naughty as Pinays. To reiterate, AC is safe for all visiting punters as long as you exercise some common sense and don't do stupid things.

I was there last month and will be there in January. It has been said many times to stay away from SW and street hustlers. I think most people get in trouble by trying to save a few hundred pesos by going with SW and some get scammed. In my book they are not victims but volunteers. If you want to volunteer for trouble. Have at it. BF are reasonable price. No other place like AC.

Most Charlies here complain the newbies are jacking up the prices by tipping or over tipping. BS! Law of supply and demand along with inflation. It is to their advantage to not encourage newbies to visit if they want to keep prices down.

Some of the "warning" sounds an awful lot like a previous "doomsayer" with an anti-AC agenda. Including " So guys you have been warned." IMHO.

I don't spend as much time walking the stretch between Lewis Grand and Walking street but I do spend a fair amount of time on and around Walking Street. I don't get approached by SW's very often because I just don't see very many. There are enough ladybois hanging around the corner of Phillies Sports Bar and there are probably a few independents (SW's) in that bunch but it is easy to ignore them.

It seems like it is a moderately slow time and a few bars aren't seeing many customers (maybe because of the coming holidays.) I was in one of the bars last night on Fields and I was the only customer in there.

There are plenty of groups of Koreans making there way to the host of korean oriented bars up and down Walking Street and all the way out to the Perimeter bars.

The number of the perimeter bars seem to have a fair amount of local ex-pats as customers and have plenty of business.

Everywhere it certainly seems like it is business as usual. The La Pasha Group sold out (La Pasha = Club Muse; Typhoon = Monsoon; Carousel = Centauro; Genesis = Nemesis; Fantasy Fare = Club Equus) so, I am not sure that last years special holiday " upcharge" will apply with the new owners. Those clubs all charged an extra 1000 php on Christmas eve, Christmas, New Years Eve and New Years day. I won't be here this year for the holidays but New year's Eve is always amazing here for the volume of fireworks everywhere.

I got up to an early start today and headed over to ponytails around 2pm. Barfined a girl with a pretty nice body. But when I got her over to my table, I noticed she had a lot of acne scars on her cheeks. But she was still better than expected for the day shift. As expected, she only wanted short time, but we negotiated for four hours, which was good for three pops.

The problem with that, is I didn't have much mojo for the night. It's about 11pm, and I haven't barfined anyone since and don't really feel like it. But maybe I'll feel different in a couple hours. Good thing the bars are still lively right up until 3am. I had the monster mo's hamburger at kokomos and got to watch all the people pass by. There was some concert or other event going on so the foot traffic was especially high today.

After that I stopped in at Voodoo's, there were a couple of decent girls there, but as I said, I wasn't in the mood. The manager at voodoo was really nice and bought me a free drink. That's in stark contrast to the asshole at Atlantis.

I stopped in Zipper Stripper to buy my barfine from the other night a drink and kill some time. The owner there is a crazy drunk who likes to yell. That place really needs to be sold. The atmosphere and decor are horrible, and it doesn't help with the owner scaring away the customers. But there were at least three or four decent looking girls. My girl wanted me to barfine her cousin, and I probably would have if I hadn't already shot my load that afternoon. I might take them both tomorrow or sometime next week. Her cousin has milk because her kid is 3 months old, and so her knockers are rather impressive. But not tonight.

Instead I headed over to Atlantis to check out the show and see if any of the girls turned my head for some short time action. But the asshole mamasan and manager have a clock on every patron to see how much they drink. Apparently I was taking too long to choose a girl so they asked me to leave. I don't really have a problem with that, but it's a shitty thing to do to your customers and that guy had an attitude. So fuck him. Had he given me another 15 minutes, he might have had a barfine, now I'm never walking in there again. And that horse faced mamasan can go to hell too.

Dude said he's running a business. I guess he doesn't realize that it's a customer service business. Whatever, plenty of other bars in AC. But I guess this just solidifies my opinion of the Dollhouse group.
