I've been punting long enough now to not get too excited when I visit a shop, if it's too much, I walk, take it or leave it. Melbourne scene isn't necessarily shit it's just expensive and feels very money hungry (even more so than normal) but hell Pattaya smashes it out of the park! What you can get in Pattaya (or Bangkok etc) compared to anywhere in Aus is insane albeit I would say the pricing in Thailand has been creeping up steadily over the past decade. Compared to when I first went (90's) it's now ridiculously expensive even taking into account inflation & tourist tax but still at least 50% less than Au and with far better looking & eager WG's. Enjoy Thailand, I'm SO jealous.
